I love the rolls! They are so delicious! Service was a little bit slow but the food more than compensates it!! I love the decorations too!! Totally recommend!

The service here is always fantastic. I love the low lighting and cozy feel. Food is half-off when dining inside the place. Plan to stay an hour and eat some great fried sushi!

Mr. Sushi is SO GOOD!!!! one of my fav places ever. so good. the best ever. the sunday morning and philly rolls are staples. So is air force!!!

I will say the sushi was really good but the fried rice should be called ONION fried rice. there was probably over 1 full diced onion in my rice. this picture is just from half of the fried rice serving... also a server tried to grab me and my dates drinks out of our hands at 9:55pm since they closed at 10pm. pissd me off. Will not return

My review is probably closer to a 3.5 for Mr. Sushi. It's not that anything why remarkably wrong, it's just that nothing really stood out from my recent visit. My friend and I went prior to attending a show at the Aronoff, hoping to kill time with sushi and cocktails. We were a little disappointed they there isn't a true cocktail menu here, and opted for wine and a cider instead. She ordered hibachi steak while I opted for bacon wrapped scallops and a Sunday morning roll. Unlike me, she's a fan of onions but her hibachi meal came swimming in onions. I knew it had to be a lot when I see my onion loving friend picking them out of her dish. My Sunday morning roll was good, but it's pretty standard wherever you go. My scallops were disappointing. We both opted out of taking our leftovers home. The sauce and bacon flavor completely overpowered the scallops. We ended up just grabbing the check and killing our last half hour drinking cocktails at Nada. As Broadway in Cincinnati subscribers, the proximity to the Aronoff will likely have us visiting again in the future, but in all honesty, it'll be at the bottom of our list.

We like the half price sushi and the spring rolls were excellent. The entrees are more expensive than they should be but everything we tried was tasty. They have a full bar and lots of seating. The server was very pleasant, just a tad slow even though it wasn't busy. Overall we'd go back though!

Decent sushi and affordable. I don't think any of their sushi rolls stood out, but it was a quick option for a sushi fix.

Overall it was a bit overfilled so it was very messy and hard to eat. I could have done without the hidden coconut shavings inside. KIMCHI & EGG CROISSANT 5 I had this one for breakfast. I warmed it in my air fryer for 6 minutes on 330 so it didn't overcook. The croissant was flaky and delicious, and the kimchi added good flavor without being spicy. I would have liked to see a little more mozzarella but overall it was tasty! SOBACHA CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE 4 Also tasty, oversized cookie. Soft and chewy texture. CINNAMON ALMOND BLUEBERRY TOAST (THURSDAY/FRIDAY ONLY) 5.25 Very good. The cinnamon filling reminded me of a brown sugar pop tart. I warmed it in my air fryer and it was perfect. Would order again. While my visit didn't top my ramen preference, a savory mochi appetizer was a unique and wonderful introduction to this busy little place. Bar service seating can be a bit cramped when the restaurant is full but the friendly service and tasty food makes up for it. My husband set an alarm for 5:58am to get ready to go to the site and try to get reservations for 7pm Saturday night. However, in the couple of seconds it took him to figure out how the reservation site worked, all 8 spots for the 7pm time slot were taken. 5pm was not our preference so he got lucky to get 2 spots at 9pm. Yay. All the sashimi was very tasty and super fresh. The range of flavors varied from creamy tuna taste to some fishy sardines. My favorite, a fish I never tried before, is Jackass - very delicious. Btw it was our first Omakase experience ever, and we look forward to trying more of these places in the future. With only 8 spots per seating, I really enjoyed the intimate ambiance, of talking with the chief and hearing him explain each dish.

They are reservation only and it can be a challenge to get a reservation, so make sure you check their Instagram to figure out when they become available. We came here for a dinner reservation. For the vibes, they have 8 seats and sell out basically every single reservation. There were 2 people making the sushi and they were both super friendly and made great conversation. Each bite was carefully crafted and came with a thorough explanation of the individual parts and how they fit together. I don't think my words will do enough to explain each bite, but check out the pictures if you are interested. They have a few beers, cocktails, sake, and whiskey if you are interested in a drink to go with your meal. Overall, worth a visit for an excellent omakase experience!

All seats at the bar were open, but we hoped to sit at a regular (not high-top) table. As it turned out there were a few options in the back. That said, it wasn't long before the place was packed. Our server Tyra was fantastic. Down to earth and helpful with recommendations. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. We started with Jumbo Ebi Shumai. Tyra asked if we wanted a fourth (the dish comes with three) so we wouldn't have to rock-paper-scissors for the third dumpling. I thought they were delicious. I loved the spicy mustard that came with them. I admit they had a slight fishy flavor. I mean it was shrimp and I enjoyed it. Mark is less of a fish fan in general. The dumplings didn't really hit the mark for him. If you like seafood and you like shrimp you should enjoy the Shumai. I opted for Tonkatsu Ramen - Ramen and thick creamy pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, ginger and green onion. I added black garlic oil and did not go spicy at all. I thought it was very good and I ate literally every drop. Mark had Spicy Miso Ramen - Ramen and spicy creamy soybean paste pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, and green onion. He said it was spicy, which was perfect for him. He also enjoyed his meal and finished every drop. We still had time to kill before the show so we opted for dessert. There were two options - Green Tea or Red Bean Ice Creams. Tyra recommended Red Bean and I'm glad she did. It was sweet with just the slightest crunch from the beans. It was a good size serving, hand dipped by Tyra. The proximity of Zundo to Memorial Hall or Music Hall makes it the perfect pre-show stop for dinner. We will definitely be back.
