First off... somehow.. someway they are beating the yelp system and making new profiles so the old ones are deleted with bad reviews. Now on to the rest... buckle up.. there is a lot and it's not good. It takes forever to get them on the phone. When you walk in the door you will be slapped in the face with ways to leave them a good review... you know what else you'll be slapped with??? A long wait time for someone to notice you're there. Our average wait time is at least 5 minutes for someone to just come out of the back or garage to talk to you. They are never there to help or be a friendly face. It is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a garage. This last time, the gem of a man missed 3 of us piling up waiting at the desk... we could see him... totally obvious to the line backing up. And then.. he mouthed "oh sh*t" through the window when he realized what he did. Let's chat about service. I haven't been in here once leaving as a happy customer or watched anyone have a good experience. We have warrantee work.. don't ever fall into their trap of "fixing it for life". Because they will fix it as cheap and crappy as possible so you spend more. How many people need their brakes replaced every 2-8 months.. us!!??? That is just obscene. Our calipers actually caught on fire after having this location do our breaks.. a week later!! We have been missing oil sticks, our engine cover was never latched back on (they just threw it on top of the engine). I could go on and on. Turns out.. it's better to just pay to go somewhere else and give up anything you ever had warranted here. read more

Called right before closing to ask if they could take a look at and hopefully repair what had halfway fallen off from under my car. Tim (I think), told me what it was and if I brought it in now, he would take a look. I got there in 15 minutes, he came out into the lobby and asked for my keys, disappeared, and came back in about 15 minutes and told me it was fixed. Yay!!! They saved me a trip to the dealership, which would have been a 30 minute drive and I was in an out. Love the Convenience and service at Mr Tire!!! read more

I was trying to teach our son who is 19 maintenances on his truck. I set him up a appointment near his place of employment to make it easier for him. Mr. Tire at 5847 Wooster pike in Medina Ohio. I made the appointment for when he left work. he was only 1.2 miles away, so it was very convenient. I have never used Mr. Tire service before, but they were offering a free alignment check. I was able to send all the info and a coupon right to my son's phone from the website while i was setting up the appointment. This is where I was hoping for a company to be totally honest with my son. Thankfully I told him to call me and let me know what they are telling him because.... First off they couldn't do the free alignment check some part has to be removed and needed a special mechanic to do. Then the alignment was 129.00 but didn't include any labor??? I was a service manager for 8 years and alignments are 100% labor and 100% profit extra labor would be for any parts that are worn out and needed replaced. Thankfully my son called me and explained what they were telling him. I immediately told him to get his keys and leave. Mr. Tire I honestly thought I could trust you to earn our business and have my son use you for all his truck service needs but turns out you are just like the rest. So immediately I found another nearby service center and got him in that same day this turned out to be a great choice not only did they check his alignment for free (did not have to remove any parts) but they explained everything and gave a printout to show what needed adjusted. They said it was a simple standard adjustment and would only cost 99.00 to do. I told my son to go ahead and have it done. The mechanic when done gave my son the before and after printouts so we could see what was done. I was so excited to see they didn't try and sell him any extras or bull. Thank you, Midas at 227 N. Court St. Medina for being honest and willing to earn people's business. And for only 85.00 after coupon. To Mr. Tire the only reason for the two stars was for the very easy to use website when i set up the mistake of an appointment. read more

We recently took our vehicle for an oil change and repair of tire. No communication with the staff we had to call to get any info at all. No Masks On ANY STAFF!!! Very lackadaisical in there interactions with us !!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We have been trying this place for years and the service used to be good however it's been going downhill and now I fear it's hit rock bottom!!!! Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!! read more

The staff at Mr. Tire were all very helpful. Ken, the manager, had excellent follow-up with Issues I had with the car. In one instance, I had a labor intensive issue that was finished ahead of the promised time. I could not give a stronger recommendation. read more

This Mr. Tire location is great. I came in on a Saturday with no appointment and they were able to patch my leaking tire in less than an hour, in & out. They are always nice there. I will definitely be buying my next set of tires from them. read more

Last 2 times here feel like I'm getting ripped off. Pretty bad that I have to check the service and know it was not completed. I wonder if they even did the oil change. They blacked out a window to see the service bay so you cannot see your vehicle when its supposedly getting serviced. read more

Mr. Tire in Cockeysville overtightened the lug nuts on my truck so tight that, after bending my lug wrench with 3' extensions on each end, I had to heat the lug nut with a propane torch to get it off. Not ideal. Overtightening creates a dangerous situation because it stretches or damages the lug nuts and studs so that the wheel could actually fall off while you are driving. I wonder if there has ever been a class action suit over this against Mr. Tire. Further, when I called to have them rectify the situation by rotating my tires right away, they hung up on me. I have been a regular customer of Mr. Tire for 30 years, but no more. read more

These people installed a broken valve to my tire and the next day i was stranded on the highway but that is not the problem, after all this they told they did nothing wrong and it was my fault! I called then because I saw they had a coupon that they would honor any competitors coupon and offer 5% less. So I had a coupon from a competitor for a 49.95 wheel alignment. And the man said yea I'm aware of your coupon and our 5% off coupon but I can't give it to you for less then 89.95? So he basically told me were not honoring our own coupon and take your business elsewhere. So I am!. read more

Avoid this place at all costs! They will up-charge you, write ridiculously expensive estimates for work you DON'T need, and will not honor warranties if THEY decide your part doesn't need to be fixed (yep - THEY get to make that call, even if another mechanic is pointing out to them how it no longer works and needs to be replaced). If you have any doubt about something these guys have told you, do yourself a favor and get a second opinion because there's 99.9% chance they're either outright lying or inflating their costs. read more

Avoid Mr. Tire Medina. For my last two truck oil change/tire rotations the lug nuts were overtightened and were damaged. Of course I didn't know this because how do you check over tightening. When I went to the next oil change/tire rotation at Conrad's they said the lug nuts needed to be replaced because they couldn't get the sockets to fit the lug nuts. I took the truck to the dealership. They confirmed the damage. Cost me $260 for 20 lug nuts. I'll never go back to Mr. Tire in Medina. read more

The new management is terrible. I WOULD NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! They lost the tool to remove the wheel lug nut and then promised to get a new one and rotate the tires. At the next appointment, they did not check the new tool and made my daughter wait around until I finally picked her up. After my husband called the manager to get it fixed, the manager hung up and called my teenage daughter to tell her what she had to do! After arriving home, they finally took the car back but the new tool did not fit so my daughter needed to go to the dealership to buy the right one and then bring it back. The manager was rude and full of excuses. I told him I was coming to pick the car up and when we arrived, the car was on the lift, not ready to go, with one wheel off! When I told him to take the car off the lift, he proceeded to pound off all four locks and replace them with something else! He didn't even tell me what he had done, but it's obvious because they don't match. He took advantage of a teenager and did not treat her with respect. I WILL NEVER TAKE A CAR HERE AGAIN!!!!! read more
