I had a tire installed at this location about a month ago and recently discovered they installed the WRONG tire size on my vehicle. My 2018 Chevy Malibu Hybrid requires 225/55R17, but they installed 245/45R17. This is a safety issue. I only discovered the issue after getting a flat and checking all of my tires. When I contacted the store to have it corrected, both the manager and assistant manager were dismissive, rude, and hung up on me multiple times. They insisted their system was correct and refused to take responsibility. I also went to the location with a flat tire and was told there would be at least an hour wait despite there being minimal customers, and no assistance was offered while my tire was actively losing air. I ended up having to leave and attempt the repair myself. I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration due to the safety concern and lack of accountability. I strongly recommend double checking any work done here, as this experience raised serious concerns about both service quality and professionalism. read more

Took a car in for an inspection and, boy, did they see this grey-haired, female, senior citizen coming. My husband suggested this place because it was on a main road near my regular shopping spots. The result: an estimated $2,000 in repairs before it would pass. I told them to slap the rejection sticker on it and we made an appointment with a very reputable but out-of-the-way garage. On two occasions I've had flat tires at very inconvenient times and on both occasions Scott and Tammie have been great at getting me in quickly and fixed. If I could give this place no stars at all I would, firstly I happen to accompany a friend to get her oil changed and this place was meant to be a pitstop but it literally turned into our whole day, secondly I stepped outside to take a phone call and happen to overhear 2 of the techs I assume trashing what I would assume were coworkers and they weren't working on anything at the time looked kinda like they were being lazy, thirdly I witnessed the same 2 techs hand off said friends oil changed to another tech who already was working on something and running around like a chicken with his head cut off while those 2 did nothing. I didn't interact with any of the techs myself but later once we were finally done my friend mentioned getting a creepy feeling from one of the techs I believe she mentioned him by name and I'm pretty sure she said his name was David. The man who did her oil change was so nice and explained everything well his name was Michael and the assistant manager Tammie was also such a pleasure to work with not so much the actual manager I don't know what kind of establishment this company thinks it's running but I can assure you it's not needless to say my friend will be taking her business elsewhere and I highly suggest everyone else do the same. read more

Terrible customer service. We were supposed to be headed to the beach but the radio on our van shut off and the battery light came on. My wife was able to roll into this Mr Tire and they recognized the problem as a faulty alternator and assured my wife they would get to it first thing the next day. The next morning, a couple of hours after not hearing from them, I called the shop myself. They informed me that they hadn't started on the job yet because they needed my permission even though they told my wife they'd get it started first thing and instead of calling her they called an old number in the system and left a message. They shouldn't give their customers a false sense of security if they aren't going to start repairs when they say they will. Any good business will ask their customers if they have a good call back number, and they did not. And after making those avoidable mistakes, they poured salt on the wound by keeping me waiting to talk the manager. I literally stood at the desk and watched Chris flip through some screens, joke with the staff, anything but come up to the desk and talk to me. What an unprofessional outfit they have here. Will gladly pay to get it towed somewhere else next time. read more

Came in for tire change and front end alignment.  2 tires were only filled to 23 pounds of air, should have been 35.  Broke 2 TPMS sensors. Did NOT recalibrate sensors. Did NOT replace one valve stem cover. Put wrong milage on invoice (which would affect warranty of tires)  I have serious doubts now as to whether the alignment was done correctly.  WILL NEVER USE MR. My son brought his vehicle in for an inspection on Sep 1. It wasn't ready until Sep 4. when we went to pick it up he asked if it had passed and he was told it had. I was there with him and heard this. We went home and realized they had forgotten to give him inspection sticker. He drove back to get it and was told it had failed. They said they never even put it on the rack because they heard a "creak". So they failed it without looking at it then told us it passed and sent us home. read more

If I could give negativs stars, I would. Took our vehicle to Mr Tire on Williamson Rd to have an oil cooler changed. The car was running perfectly fine when we dropped it off. They called to advise that they locked the engine up and that they were taking full responsibility for it. The next day they advised that they were not paying for anything and that they would be tearing the engine apart to try to find something to make sure that they didnt have to pay for it. Do not take your car there. You take it for one small thing or regular maintenance and will come out spending thousands because of their errors. read more

we are very particular. my son is a motorcycle tech with a reputation for being very meticulous. my car needed a timing belt replaced, rotors replaced and a few other basic maintenance things addressed. the workmanship at Mr Tire, with the very seasoned technician, was excellent! my son, just took my vehicle for a test ride. he is very pleased and told me that I can take my car there again for anything that might come up. that is the. best review I can give. well done. my Toyota Sequoia with 250k will enjoy another 100k on this belt. this team, at Mr Tire, did right by me and with that, I am pleased to recommend them to you. read more

My wife and I scheduled an oil change, state inspection and 4 new tires from Mr. Tire. Dan told me to come in on Wednesday morning. When I got there Wednesday morning he told me the tires were there but I would have to come back after 11 to install them and that they don't do inspections on Wednesday...so why schedule me for a Wednesday if you don't do inspections on Wednesday? Another garage told me they could do the inspection and install the tires right away. So I went back to Mr. Tire to pick up my tires but they only had 3 of them not 4 like he said. Dan's excuse was that this is the way things are right now and they don't have enough help. I told him you wasted enough of my time I'm going elsewhere. Dan's response was I didn't waste your time, have a nice day sir. You would think these businesses would understand how important customers are for them to stay in business and at the very least apologize for the inconvenience they've caused. read more

do not go to this place had an "oil change" few months back the car has driven about 4000 miles since the supposed oil change and the oil light goes on. this is a 2018 car. this should not have happened. i was skeptical initially because they didn't apply a new oil change sticker and the oil didn't seem clean when i checked it. its a blind item and impossible to prove but gut instinct told me they didn't change the oil. the light going on just proved to me that the oil wasn't changed. i was on a long journey and fortunately was able to add a quart of oil. thankfully the light went out. the oil should not have gotten low, anywhere near low, after only 4000 miles in a 2018 car with 14k miles. there is no oil leak for the skeptical. at end of the day this place is crooked and falsely claimed they changed my oil. to me this is the lowest of low. its pathetic. what did they gain? $45.00. what have they lost? a repeat customer. was the $45.00 worth it mr tire!!!!! i would never recommend this place to anyone. it amazes me the way people conduct business. you grow a business by developing trust and confidence. i hope mr tire reads this and catches a clue that you always get caught at some point when your dishonest. have a great day. im able to look myself in the mirror and sleep well. are you mr tire franklin road? most likely you are because people like you have no conscience. read more

Lies, lies, lies. Have an issue with a MAF sensor that i'm told can be resolved? Forget it, what a bunch of bs. After spending an excessive amount of time, i'm told they can't fix the issue, and haven't pinpointed it either. Great, and you do this for a living? Unacceptable, I was charged $200 regardless, and I definitely won't be going back, or recommending this place to anyone. Stand by your word, that's all I ask. read more

Went in one day to have a slow leak in my tire fixed, they didn't have time so I made an appointment and came back. The appointment was at 1 pm. Not only did they not take my car back, they didn't inform me that it would be a long wait and that they would not be honoring my appointment. They even took a walk in before me. After 30 minutes of waiting, I asked for my keys and left without any kind of apology. They saw nothing wrong with the way they treated me. read more

I have been to many place in the Roanoke Valley and this is NOW my permanent go to, simply because of the manager... I would've paid more just for his customer service and honesty!!!
