We came for Chinese next door but opted to try this place. They were open for dine in. Very courteous, quick service. I had the Super Taco. Pretty good , i had not had one in a very long time. It was yummy. Fries were great! The place is really clean a little outdated but it was perfect for what I came for - a throw back The fountain drink was what I didn't like It wasnt terrible but I prefer a ice cold Coca Cola They have RC products. Restroom was clean that's wayward a plus

What a find!!!!!! The gyros were so fresh and good! I had the gyro burrito and hubby got the gyro. You can actually make two gyros out of one entree. We were full until 7 pm that night..... we ate around 1! Lol Would definitely recommend going here for lunch!

Small no nonsense sandwich shop. Gyros and burgers seemed to be the thing. Lots for the money, go in hungry. Basic gyro with lots of meat, big pile of fries.

Some pretty good stuff here. And really nice people.

Yes I liked Mr. Ty's gyros. Very tasty and a lot of it. We ate here in during the snow storm of 2022. We found this place by chance and glad we did. Our only regret is that we are going back home tomorrow and I would have loved to come back and try some other things on the menu because the place smells delicious. Got to meet the owner he was very nice. This place is a gem in this chaos of a world. I'm blessed to have known it.

Cheap and filling working class gyro joint. The gyro sandwich is packed with meat, city workers and locals both crowd the booths during their lunch breaks licking their fingers. Clearly a place with many regulars, where their meatier versions of hot dogs are the best company for a 15 min break from work

Can't get bigger portion than this at this price! $9.99 and it's fresh cut gyro not frozen pre-sliced.

Extremely friendly service. As soon as I entered the owner greeted me and recognized me from yesterday I swing by friends he even remembered my exact order!!!! The food is very inexpensive, delicious and a big portion... I personally can rate this place #1 Gyro place in mideast.

This is gyro happiness. If you can barely see the pita under the meat, it's made right.

Naxos has a pretty big menu but is still limited in some things. A lot of it is meaty including fish. There's few choices for vegetarians but they have salad at least. Coming in here it looks a lot fancier than the places around it. It's actually still pretty casual and there's okay prices. There's a bar at the front and that's where we sat. Good stuff as far as alcohol. It's about $7 for the House Red Wine. A good one. It's about $11 for the Athenian Salad. This is pretty much like a Greek Salad. Okay but basic. The rest of the menu has classics like moussaka and spanakopita among lots of things you can get. Good enough that maybe we could go here again. It's located on Irving Park at Rohlwing. The Fried Eggplant is among the few things for vegetarians.

No time to cook for my dinner after I left. In regards to the food the salad was fresh and healthy. Gyros was okay good. I ordered the dinner because I was that hungry. This is more of a hole in the wall ambience but sometimes hole in the wall places serve good food and I took a chance. According to Yelp this was four stars. I see they also have Broasted chicken which I'll probably come back but I was already eating chicken for lunch and didn't want chicken again and I haven't had Gyros for a long time. That's why the three stars because I didn't like how they stacked French fries on top of pita bread and gyros. They gave more fries than they did of gyros meat which made the plate look so big. French Fries was just ok. They were the thin cut ones not the steak fries that I usually serve with Gyros. I also ordered chocolate cake for dessert and a fountain drink. The Chocolate cake was delicious too. Similar to Portillo Chocolate cake on the frosting or icing and cake texture. Not too dry and flaky. Will come back for either the New York strip steak dinner or there are famous roasted chicken but I'd like to try to stick dinner for $25 since it's a hole in the wall and that's some bougie steak restaurant.

However, since this Lombard location opened, I think at least a decade ago we've definitely been coming here consistently. Even though I don't put a review of every single time I visit. However, my last review of this place was over four years ago, so I thought it was about time to update this. I still give it a solid four stars because this place is key and king on consistency. If there's one thing you can rely on here is that that same recipe from 10 years ago or 30 years ago is still the same good recipe today. And that is absolutely fantastic. I do believe the portions have gotten slightly smaller over the years and obviously prices have gone up, but this is to be expected. The only downfall of this location is that they never take reservations that if you come during peak hours, you better expect to wait even over and up to an hour. Something else that I've seen really evolved at this place is that when they originally first opened, including the Greektown location, all servers, including bus, boys, etc., were all Greek that has definitely changed now over the years The parking lot here is still very generous however during peak times beware it will be hard to find the parking space and there is no valet. Well, consistency is fantastic. I do wish they had expanded the menu to make lokoumades dessert. It's one of my favorites and they still don't offer it.

Molos did not just deliver, it set a new standard for our little group dinners. We started with the Pikilia tasting plate and built our own trio of spreads. The roasted red pepper hummus was the unanimous table favorite, bold and deeply flavorful. The melitzanosalata was earthy and subtly sweet, a quieter but beautiful complement. The tirokafteri was good on its own but genuinely shone when swirled together with the other two. And the pita. That pita. Pillowy and soft with just enough structure to carry a generous pile of spread without collapsing. Outstanding. The fried zucchini with skordalia was fresh and light tasting despite being fried, a real trick. The potatoes needed a touch more salt to fully wake up but were otherwise solid. The saganaki was a table highlight, lit tableside with a proper OPA moment, gooey and beautifully crisped on top. Think mozzarella stick that went to finishing school. Mains were all exceptional. The filet mignon was wonderfully cooked, the EVO lemon sauce bringing a bright refreshing contrast to the richness of the beef. The pork chops were well charred and seasoned with the same confidence. The chicken ala feta was bright, light, and satisfying all at once. Dessert was a sampler of everything on the menu, all some gorgeous variation of creamy whipped filling, phyllo dough, honey, and nuts. Every single one cohesive and complementary. We tried them all and had no notes. We sat outside on a lovely evening, left with leftovers for days, and paid a price that felt almost unreasonably fair for what we got. For mains, and vegetarians can get the spanakopita; a buttered macaroni with cheese; or combine various tasty dips from the appetizer section. There's also salad which I ignore. The online menu has a few appetizers I didn't see (zucchini with skordalia! Oven-baked lima beans!). Warning, at least where I was sitting: the booths can move (not nailed down) - be careful when you get up. I got the chef's special spanakopita/tiropita and the roasted potato; be very specific when ordering as I was served the special "Molos Greek potato" with garlic yogurt and shredded cheese, which was fine but not what I wanted. The spanakopita and tiropita were tasty, with a good ratio between filo and filling, served on a folded cloth napkin (great idea, even perfect filo-wrapped items can be a bit greasy). Service started a little slow, as there was apparently a big party (they do that and they cater now). It was OK though I'm not sure English was my server's first language. I'll be back for the moussaka, which looks great (someone at the next table ordered it) and will be very precise when ordering my roasted Greek potato. Hopefully with a side of giant lima beans in tomato sauce.
