This is my first time writing a review, and I'm glad it's for this place! We're from out of town and have already decided we'll stop by whenever we're in the area. My family of four chose the $39 Choice option, and it was absolutely worth it. We've been to many K-BBQ restaurants, but this is easily the best we've tried. The quality of the meat exceeded our expectations. Our favorites were the Prime Brisket, Pork Jowl, and Seasoned Short Ribs. The brisket had the perfect thickness and marbling, the pork jowl was juicy without being too rich, and the seasoned short ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful--better than any we've had elsewhere. The service was the highlight. The staff were fast, friendly, and attentive, making our dining experience even more memorable. We can't wait to come back! read more

Best KBBQ in town. We moved to La Mirada about a year ago. We enjoyed coming to this restaurant since the very first time. The staff is super friendly, the meat is fresh and delicious. Part of me doesn't even want to write this review because I'd really like to keep this hidden gem in La Mirada to myself! I just hope it doesn't become so popular that it gets impossible to get a table. The quality of the meat here is SUPERB. Honestly, I'd give them 5 stars for the meat alone. Compared to other AYCE Korean BBQ places in the area, the quality really stands out. They also have a huge selection of side dishes, and everything we tried was delicious and well-seasoned. And the cowboy butter is an absolute MUST TRY! Trust me on this one. My pictures will speak for themselves! Service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff was attentive without hovering, our grill was checked frequently and replaced before we even had to ask, and everything came out clean and neatly presented. Another thing I have to mention: the floors are NOT sticky! This is seriously one of my biggest pet peeves with Korean BBQ restaurants, and this place is noticeably clean and well-kept. One small thing to know, there are no free refills on soda. But they do have a soft-serve station, which is the perfect way to finish off a flavorful and very satisfying dinner. Cons: the AC and vent system is terrible. I went on a 92F hot day, and it seemed like the temperature was the same inside as it was outside. I sat on the isle closest to the women's bathroom, and there just wasn't good enough ventilation and AC vents in comparison to the seats closer to the windows on the opposite side of the entrance. Also, meat quality is not that great. We chose the Choice Menu (mid-tier) and all the meats are in a leaner side, which makes it prone to being dry on the grill. These cheap cuts also are why the meat lost moisture quickly, giving us a dryer taste. Your food comes with a lot of side dish options and sauces, but you have cheaper meat quality. If you like having a lot of choices to make for sauces, sides, and meats, then this place is for you. Pros: The self-serve coffee machine was amazing-- good coffee, sweet hot chocolate milk, and an option for trying misugaru latte (Korea's multigrain latte that is thicker from powdered grains and seeds). This was our third time coming to Ribs & Co for AYCE KBBQ, and I'm glad we decided to give it another try. The last time we came, the service wasn't great because there were only two staff members working, so we were a little hesitant to come back. We returned about a year later, and the experience was completely different! The quality of the meat was good, and the service was great. All of the staff were friendly and very attentive, and it seemed like there were more staff working this time, which made a big difference. I also have to mention the dwenjang jjigae--it was SO good! The flavor was rich and comforting, and it honestly stood out to us. The chef is definitely doing a great job. I came here a while back and it was so good. I came back recently and I feel like it was not as good. Meat quality is great but Banchan def left a lot to be desired. Service was good, they came and checked on us and I let them know some of their banchan wasn't right. They were apologetic. Overall I don't think I'll be back for a while. read more

First time coming here and I would say that the higher than average prices were kind of justified. First, they have higher end cuts of meats, and the service was great. We ordered one cut of meat that was supposed to be on the high end, but when we had it, it was very tough and chewy. I wasn't planning on saying anything as there were a lot of other cuts of meats I wanted to try. Well, the server came by and asked specifically about that cut of meat so I told him the truth. I told him that it was fine and I did not want another serving. But he insisted and brought out another serving and cooked that dish for us. I tried this batch and it was worlds apart. Perhaps the first batch was just a bad batch. I was very happy to try it (again) and I very much appreciated the server's effort to rectify the experience. Overall, I would come back here again. This was my first time to a Korean barbecue. Was pleasantly surprised by how fresh the meat and vegetables or it was quite a fun experience very loud inside but very busy. We ordered the Adult Choice. Our server Suah was great made sure we had everything we needed and changed our hot pan out when needed. The inside still looks like the sizzler laughing out loud. Decent kbbq spot but what makes them standout is the insane amount of sauces and dips they offer so you can change up the flavor if you bites! I ordered my usual kbbq meats of beef brisket and pork jowl -- too bad the beef belly isn't offered in their lowest tier. I was able to enjoy these meets on a cheese fondue dip, wine salt, and chimichurri which were all so flavorful! There's a tablet near the front counter for check-in and we did experience a wait. The meat looked decent before cooking, but unfortunately, it turned out chewy and dry. We ordered the premium option, but didn't really get the 'wire grill' experience that we were expecting. There was a good amount of side dish options, which was a plus, but it was disappointing that we had to use our own grill to make corn cheese. Service was very slow overall, and it was difficult to flag down servers. A few of our orders were forgotten and we had to remind them. The ice cream machine was down but we were able to get tea from the self-serve station (they had coffee too). With so many better KBBQ options in the area, I'm not sure if this is the place that I would return to. read more

The service is good and they are pretty attentive but there has been times it takes a while to see someone to order some more meat but it's brought out quickly after. The brisket is so good! 4.5 stars! This is a clean spacious restaurant with a clean bathroom (and changing table!). Service was pretty good and the meat was delicious. The lunch ala cart menu is a great deal given how much food you are getting. We got the combo A and it was plenty of food between 2 adults and a toddler. We couldn't finish all the meat and ended up taking the rest home. They have a lot more banchan than typical kbbq places which was nice. The quality of banchan was okay. The soybean soup was also okay. Rice paper was on the dry side. Fortunately rice was cooked well. The woodae galbi is the best! So juicy and tenderrrr...ugh I drool thinking about it. The seasoned short ribs were good too and brisket was okay. I will need to try the AYCE premium in the future to try the seasoned woodae galbi, boneless short ribs, and beef belly! read more

This is my 4th time coming in for dinner. We got the premium selection, and the crazy thing about this time was that the meats just seemed a lot more juicier than before. The non-marinated boneless and cubed short ribs, woodae galbi were soooo good. Our server Rotana and other servers were fantastic. Came by our table frequently to take our meat and drink orders. Had this place bookmarked for a while so we decided it was time to finally try it. We went on black Friday around 330pm. I was worried it might be busy but we were seated within 5 minutes. Right at the front entrance are small claw machines. My daughter lives these things but for $1 each play, it gets real pricey, real fast. So be warned if you're bringing little ones. Once we were seated we were asked if we had dined there before. I told the server no. He told us there were different towers tiers and asked if we knew which one we wanted. Luckily, I looked over the menu earlier and knew what I wanted but if someone came in with zero knowledge of kbbq, they would be flustered without proper guidance. We went with the Choice tier(middle of 3) since it was our first time and I wasn't sure the $19/ person was with it. We came as 3 adults and 3 kids (12, 7, and 1). Kids prices are by height so I had 1 free, 1 half off, and 1 full priced. We were allowed to order 4 meats at a time. My husband ordered almost all the sauces to try since he really loves his sauces. I'm more of a soy sauce only type of girl. I did try the chimichurri though and did enjoy that. My husband ordered the patty steak since he was curious about it and he was pretty much a hamburger patty. He thought it was ok. My kids devoured he brisket. My 12 and 7 year old ate 3 plates between the two of them. My eldest also ate 3 steamed eggs. Kbbq is the only time I can get him to eat beef so I was happy to see him enjoying it. I enjoyed the seasoned beef and galbi, it wasn't too sweet. My mom liked the butter squid. The reason I took off a star was service. We had to constantly wave someone down to ask for more meats and anything else we needed. I don't need someone to be hovering but we had times we sat with no meat and water. I would say maybe because it was busy but the restaurant was more empty than full and I saw the servers chatting with each other constantly so it was hard to get any of their attention at times. All in all, worth a try. It's a 30-45 minutes drive for me though so I'm not sure how often I'll be back. read more

Went to Ribs & Co on a Sunday around noon. As you walk in, there are cute games on the left side and everything was clean. We were seated right away, the side dishes were already placed on the table. We decided the Select Menu, for all you can eat Korean BBQ with Beef Brisket, Pork Belly, and Vegetables. We added sesame seed oil on the grill first, so the meat and vegetables can cook without sticking to the grill. The corn cheese and steamed egg were delicious too. The staff checked on us multiple times so we can place more meat and side orders. The staff was kind enough to check if the chili sauce was gluten free, and it's gluten free. Came here for the soft opening a year ago and had a good experience so decided to come back today. It was very disappointing. We will not be back. Just gonna get straight to it. We did select AYCE 1) brisket first round was so thick. Brisket is supposed to be thinly shaved but it was thick and rough. Second round was a little better but I was already so turned off by low quality of the first round 2) japchae served is terrible. There were no vegetables and it just tasted bad. If you're not gonna make it right, don't serve it at all. **Dont be fooled that this place is good from the line/wait outside!! I always thought the restaurant was good because we'd see people waiting outside but it's because the waiting area is super small! It's filled with claw machines and small seating area. There were a lot of waiters providing nice and quick service. It was a really good price for the quality meats served. I loved that they offered various additional sauces like chimichurri, cowboy butter, wine salt, horseradish and many more. They were very mindful and warned us to kept the hot plates away from the baby as well as mindful each time there was a grill change, they made sure our baby was safe. Was looking for a good KBBQ spot as well a bit late due to my gf work scheduled getting off at 8:30 and driving from Long Beach back to Whittier. There were couple of good options I found but looking at the options and their recent reviews, ribs and co seem to have a more safe option than the rest that finalized my decision on going here. Upon arrival we did had to wait abit to get seated which was fine, there were a couple small claw machine that were available to play while waiting which were $5 for 5 tokens and 10 for 10 tokens best part doesn't charge tax. But after I'll probably say 10-20 mins we were sat the waitress explain the menu and how it worked for me as I've never been there but my gf has been. We did choice option where I think we did about two rounds of meats before we got full. Some minor mistake but I some what get it like its pretty late, wanting to go home, etc That our waiter forgot about the steamed egg we order, the cowboy butter sauce , and brought us the wrong soju for us grape instead of peach but it was fine totally understandable ! The meat was great , I just wish some meat had abit more flavor as well if there was a meat that didn't had sauce to atleast put butter or something to not be bland. Service - it was okay. She check every couple of times to see if we needed anything else, and if we were okay As well consistent with changing the grill. We came for an early dinner on a Saturday. Some people were late and due to their tardiness we were forced to order a bottle of wine and bottle of soju . We chose to get the premium menu after they arrived, but it took so long to decide we had to order another bottle of soju. I had been here a few times and decided to finally write a review. There are a few takeaways for this place. First, the vibe. The interior is nicely laid out and the music isn't super loud. Overall pretty clean, however, the restrooms can use some work. I know you can't typically stop vandalism but some of the toilets were a little leaky and some of the dispensers Didnt have supplies in them. The food, pretty good if you ask me. Personally, I think the choice menu is more than enough. Some people like the prime for the tomahawk, but, let's be real, with a grill that size a tomahawk steak is a waste of space. Just fill up on the Galbi and shirt ribs and you'll have a great meal. Next is the service. On average the service here is decent. Of course, it always depends on how busy it is at the time of dining. My opinion, come in for lunch. It's less busy and the wait staff pay much more attention to you. Overall 4 stars. We were placed way in the back due to a bigger party. Lots of space in the place. A little out of the way unless you're local. For a weekday it was pretty sparse. I would say parking should be good since it's a shared parking lot in a large plaza. K-pop music playing, very clean place. The soft serve was on the icy side as opposed to milky. I highly suggest coming here for tomahawk and basically the premium menu items. We spent the full 2-2.5 hr time limit. read more

Ribs & Co is honestly really solid for the price. I got the Select for 32 dollars and it was super tasty and filling. The bulgogi and brisket were definitely my favorites. They have a good variety of sauces to pair with the meat. The cowboy butter with the rice is a must. Don't skip it. The sides were surprisingly amazing too. Service was great and very attentive.
