They still do a good job with the laundry, but there have been too many "kinks" for my liking…read more 1) delivery mishap 1 - I have indicated several times to deliver to my door at a specific date and time, but they haven't heeded this because apparently, they deliver "whenever" if you live in a doorman building. Part of why I get this service is so that I don't have to lug all my pounds of laundry with my skinny arms... and even if I noted this several times in the order, it's gone ignored until after it's been dropped off. What's the point of putting a note in your order if it goes ignored several times? 2) delivery mishap 2 - delay. Initially I was told that it's because my credit card info was updated too late. When I questioned them about why they said "you're all set" without confirming/denying a delay, they then said it's because the deliveries go out early and they take the steps to load the delivery vehicle even with those whose payments aren't confirmed. Then why didn't they tell the driver? If they couldn't reroute why couldn't they tell me? They didn't contact me about a delay until 10pm (my delivery window was 9-10) and that was only AFTER I emailed them. After I question this, they then tell me that there was traffic and an issue at a previous delivery location. Which is all fine (this is NYC after all, and stuff happens), but I don't appreciate the changing story. One plus was that the driver was super nice and apologetic. 3) twice my laundry wasn't all completely folded. They did give me a credit in my account for this, but I thought it went without saying that all of my items should be folded (unless I asked for hang dry)? Why was this even an issue... twice? I may or may not use this service again... it is too bad because I did really like using them, but there have just been too many "kinks" and I'll have to rethink booking with them in the future.
