The Philly with provolone was phenomenal. The cheese flavor is really strong, but I thought it was perfect.

Even when I missed my delivery they came back the next day with a new pizza. Always tasty, always friendly :)

Looking for something tasty and not touristy on Duvall St in Key West. Rarity, sell HUGE fresh slices of cheese and pepperoni pizzas. Stromboli is huge. Takes 25 minutes to cook. Worth the wait. This place is a for sure visit when coming to key west. The pizza is fantastic and has that rustic crunch on the crunch and the cheese and toppings don't just fall of the top you have to actually take a bite. The prices are great too if you just want to grab a quick bite to eat and not drop $30 like everywhere else on the street. If you are sober, there are way better pizza places in Key West. If you are stumbling around Duval and Southard late night after bar hopping and are hungry because the kitchen at the bar you were just at closed, Mr. Z's will feel like the best you have ever had. I have eaten a slice of cheese pizza and at another time have eaten a cheesesteak with extra cheese drunk as hell and fell in love. I'm so glad I found Mr. Z's. After paying at least $100 per meal during our Key West honeymoon, my wife and I were in the mood for something simple and inexpensive from a place that would deliver to our hotel. Thank you, Yelp, for pointing me in the direction of this place. We got a sausage-and-onion pizza and a cheese steak. Both were delicious, and I certainly was not expecting to find a place with a delicious, legitimate Philly cheese steak (with Cheez Whiz and all) in south Florida. And best of all, the total was $22. Two days later, after a day spent drinking at the hotel's pool bar, we ordered from Mr. Z's again. This time, we got the hot dog, some cheese fries and a roast pork sandwich. Staying in town for the week and ordered pizza and a salad to be delivered to my hotel. Ordered ham and pineapple but apparently the guy on the phone (who was actually very nice) only heard me say pineapple. I didn't know that he misheard me because he did not read the order back. I guess my mistake for not asking him to do it. I don't know how the pizza tastes because I have no interest in a pineapple pie. The salad came with no plasticware even though they knew they were delivering to a hotel so I can't eat that either. Waste of $25. read more

This place is complete BS. Food is great but service is downright horrific. I just retired and moved here and this place came recommended by one of the managers at their competitors, Clemente Pizza. Ive been here a few times but the order taker always says it will be 20 mins. Nobody is there. 20 mins. 80 people in line. 20 mins. Then goes out and has a smoke by Cuban Coffee entrance. Odd and gross but whatever. Last week we waited almost an hour for a cheese pizza!!!! Tonight we ordered takeout for my family including 2 teens. Very specifically ordered a cheesesteak. Order is $48. I give the guy $60. $12 tip. (25% for takeout). Well after our promised time we get our order. Get home to find my 16 yo's cheesesteak is nowhere to be found. Call to complain and the person says do you have your credit card receipt. My head explodes as I paid in cash. They want cash but then screw you when it comes to fulfilling your order. I would 100% tell people not to order from her. Not because the food isn't good. But the fact that they are jerks. Ps. They did offer to replace our cheesesteak. Our house is just under a mile away. I can't walk 2 miles routldtrip to fix their $12.95 mistake. Never again. Pissed. read more

The cheesesteaks here are delicious!! We originally ordered whiz on them which is what we always get in Philly. The owner was there and suggested we try the house made American cheese sauce. It kicked up the flavor quite a bit. Now we can't wait to go back and try the pork sandwich and of course the pizza!! Tiny place right off Duvall. Great for late night pizza. They have amazing cheesesteaks and their pizza by the slice is the best. It's a cash only place, but there is an atm just down the street. As we wait for your order, you can watch them toss pizza dough, make pizzas or just chat with the guys behind the counter. read more

I'm from Phili and live in Los Angeles. Mr. Z's cheesesteaks made my trip to Florida outstanding and brought back fond memories of home. Amoroso rolls, chopped meat, light and delicious. I ate cheesesteaks both nights I was in Key West. Absorbency after Sloppy Joes and The Green Parrot. Outstanding and affordable, but their provolone is a bit sharp so go with the white American cheese option. Yummy!! read more

Ordered delivery to a hotel down the road. Waited 45 minutes only to get a call that they weren't delivering the food because they "couldn't locate the hotel." They said we could come pick it up but to hurry because they were closing in 15 minutes, but when called they would not answer the phone. Extremely disappointed.
