I was in my old stomping ground this morning and figured I'd try a local place for my quest if Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese. You had the login to add a hash brown, which of course I did. First of all, the egg was scrambled, which I was kind of digging.... gave it a nice, fluffy texture. Taylor ham was above average but the cheese..... there was something different to it. I couldn't put my thumb on it. Was a little creamy... I should've paid attention while he was making it. I also got the home fries which were ok. Nothing crazy. Just potatoes and a few chips green and red pepper. Service was excellent. Definitely better than what I get in my neck of the woods... Went for Breakfast Food - 3/5. The burrito was alright. The eggs were thin but layered which made them have a decent bite. The chorizo was just as thin as the egg, which was not as alright. I was expecting a more loose, sausage like texture from the chorizo to have that smoky spiciness that is expected of chorizo but because of its tiny size, none of those flavors were present. Home fries were soft but a little too hot, just like the tortilla, which had cracks from the heat. Service - 3/5. The cashiers charged me the wrong price for substituting chorizo. It says clearly on the sign that its $0.50 extra but they charged $1.00 instead. They did correct it after discussing but it took an awkward amount of convincing. Value - 2/5. The burrito comes with a little bit of everything but the emphasis is on the word little. You don't really taste any of the stronger flavors like the meat because there is such a small amount. I used to frequent this place because it's so close to where I live, but it's really not the best around or even close. Maybe because they don't bake the bagels on premises or because they don't have any selection left later in the day...but this is really not nearly as good as the Mr Bagelsworth location on River road. If you're just hungry and in a pinch it will do, but if you're looking for a good bacon egg and cheese or a bagel with an adequate amount of cream cheese and lox, skip this place. Very stingy on that front and the bagels tend to be dry/tasteless. They should focus less on empanadas and closing real estate deals on the phone and get the food right. If they did better I would certainly update my review with new feedback. But it's been open for a few years now and I don't see that being the case. Good food and friendly staff! My first time coming through and I got an egg whites, tomatoe, cheese with turkey bacon spinach wrap. They have fair amount of seating when you go in. They also have some Cuban cuisine they serve for dinner that the manager told me so I may try that in the future as well. My wrap was very very good only complaint was the turkey bacon could have been cooked more. 10 dollar minimum for debit/credit card charges. read more

I have wanted to try this place since I noticed it a couple weeks ago and finally was able to stop in today. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The decor is cute and everything is very clean. I ordered: -beef empanada -everything bagel with lox -taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwich The bagel was satisfactory but a far cry from the bagel shops of NYC. The taste of the food was good, but the biggest problem I have with this place is the delivery time and portion size. The beef empanada was very good but TINY. The bagel with lox had a small amount of cream cheese on one side and had about a third of the amount of lox you'd get anywhere else. The ham egg and cheese also had sparing amounts of ham, egg, and cheese. As for the delivery time, it took over an hour to arrive whereas it could not have taken more than 5 minutes to prepare the food. read more

Just are here for the first time and was blow away! Had one of the best deli sandwiches...it was the special called Turkey Sloppy Joe". The rye bread was like I was at a Jewish Deli in Manhattan, they may make it themselves? It was topped with Turkey, Pastrami and coleslaw and served with a huge pickle. I also tried an empanada that was fried perfection. Next time I will try a Bagel, since it is what they are well known for. I think its family run, everyone was so nice to our rambunctious 3 year old and they even made her french toast and I don't even know if it was on the menu. This place is terrible, I ordered lunch for my daughter whose school is a one minute walk from Mrs. Bagelsworth literally across the street from the school. I placed the order in the morning and I asked the person 3 times if they were able to deliver at 11:20am to which he responded yes I paid and left. I called at 11:45 and asked if they had delivered the food mind you my daughter has a limited lunchtime therefore that is why I asked 3 times that the food needed to be delivered by a certain time ,I Rushed to a McDonald's and bought a happy meal which I brought to my daughter's school at noon. I complained to the lady and she said that they were very busy and they did not control time. Aside from Thanos I don't know anyone that controls time but I know that there are many people who plan well and deliver their goods on time. I understand being a few minutes late but a whole 40 minutes ??? I'm Not sure of everyone else but i ordered here for the first time yesterday morning and the food was great. My entire order was correct, they arrived on time (given i ordered a little last minute), Plus my food was well organized when delivered. Delivery Guy was very nice and polite. I will definitely be ordering from here more often! If there are any cons- I would have to say that I didn't see an options for muffins. If You expect fast service wrong place to be in this matter of fact don't even acknowledge that you're a customer in the establishment until 5 minutes or so after you're standing walking back and forth deciding on walking out of the bagel store. Don't waste your time going in there no customer service. They get the order wrong and it's customers fault and on top of that they want to charge you again for their mistake. Employees working in the front making the food always look unhappy they do not acknowledge you when you walk in. It's been several times I have been in there because I like to support local businesses but it's just rude their behavior on many occasions I have gone in greeted them and no response. I have noticed other customers being nice and polite to them as well and greet and they don't get a response either. Disgusting customer service. I haven't tried much on their menu, but this is definitely my go to spot for a toasted bagel with jalapeno cream cheese (which most other bagel shops don't have), lox, tomatoes, and onions. They make a perfectly proportioned sandwich with the right amount of cream cheese and 2 nice slices of lox (which I like). Their coffee is pretty good also. read more

I absolutely love this place! When I am in the Cliffside Park area I stop here and grab a Wrap It! breakfast wrap. My favorite is one with eggs, turkey bacon and hash browns wrapped in a whole wheat wrap. Another great thing I love is the friendly face of Gio at the counter. He recognized me the second I walked in even though I had only been there once before. That's the kind of service I love to see first thing in the morning. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. I can't say enough good things about this place! I live 3 blocks away from a bagel shop but prefer this shop instead which is in the next town over from where I live! The staff is extremely friendly and always have smiles on their faces and the place is impeccable. I've never seen a cleaner bagel shop/deli! Aside from their breakfast sandwiches, their lunch sandwiches are delicious and unlike any other place in the area! A few of my favorites: the Cubanator and Reuben! Their salads - tuna, chicken, and egg, are also really good and fresh. They also offer a different hot lunch special every day which is great! I recently had their pork, rice and beans and it was absolutely delicious! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to all. You will not be disappointed! read more
