We visited for a cinnamon swirl. We haven't had one in years and wanted to see if they were as good as we remembered them. The lobby was closed, so we went to the drive thru. Service was good, and the person who ran the drive thru was friendly. The cinnamon swirl was burnt and tasted like it had been sitting for a while and reheated. I read the reviews before we went to this location since we don't have one anywhere near us and I was skeptical. Everything thing about this location was outstanding. The food was delicious and fresh and the people working were extremely polite and helpful. We had chicken meals and the country fried steak with sides and it tasted just like I remembered. I was so happy. My kids had never eaten at a Mrs. Winner's but have heard me talk about it for years so now they know how good it is. I would definitely visit this location again. A must stop if you love chicken, country fried steak, biscuits, and cinnamon swirls.... and don't forget their delicious sweet tea. They used to take Apple Pay at the drive-through which made it so easy and convenient and then they stopped taking Apple Pay, which is ludicrous. Apple Pay is so much easier and more secure. I was skeptical about visiting this location again because we had a few bad experiences with the quality of food in the past, not to mention the customer service was awful during our past visits at this location. Also, we read the reviews regarding this location and they were reflective of the same downgraded quality and service we had received during our past visits. Nevertheless, we decided to give it a try. We placed a drive thru order. The time of day was around 10:00 am. Amazingly, the drive thru attendant was friendly. His voice was clear and he was courteous and he repeated our order for conciseness. We ordered 2 steak biscuits with 2 fries and 2 cinnamon swirls. Our food was served hot and it was fresh. I have to start by saying the chicken is really good here and the biscuits are amazing. However, I was disappointed with the fact that the food was cold after waiting an hour for it. The potatoes are instant I wouldn't recommend those. The gravy was all over my bag so much so the bag came apart. The peach cobbler wasn't good and it was smashed with gravy spilling into it. The cinnamon swirls were as good as I remembered being I haven't had one since 2009. The chicken tender meals were flavorless except for the baked beans and the tenders didn't even taste like they had been fried. Like baked chicken nuggets. Diffinitely was not good. My only complaint was the time it took for my kids meal, we had to pull around to wait a few minutes. This was my first time trying Mrs. Winner's and honestly I thought it was great! I went to order the two piece dark dinner and the cashier helped me out by letting me know about the three piece dark special for only $5. The potato wedges and chicken were both hot, crispy, and enjoyable. The seasonings on both were well executed and the biscuit was soft and buttery. The Coca Cola was crisp and flavorful as well. Considering KFC currently no longer sells wedges, I was delighted to see that Mrs. Winner's offers wedges. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant and I look forward to trying out some of their other items as well. read more

I do a lot of Uber Eats deliveries to supplement my income, so I go to many restaurants and see a lot of good, a lot of bad. I personally haven't been to Mrs. Winners in a long time, but I remember much better service than I just experienced. For one, no access to the lobby anymore, so sitting on a long drive thru line for an order that should be ready soon, if not already ready for pickup. Next, after waiting in the drive thru for 10-15 minutes, I pulled up to the speaker box. No one said anything for a minute or two, but I could hear people talking in the background, so I said hello and was greeted with "yup" as a response. I then said I had an Uber eats pickup, and I got "A'ight". Completely unprofessional. I then was told the order wasn't ready and asked to pull over. When "yup" brought out the order, I mentioned that the drink was missing. "Oh, shit." He stood there looking at his feet for a couple of seconds before he realized he should probably go get that. Very disappointed in who management chooses to hire to meet the customers. Hopefully, someone in the organization will see this and try to get things turned around.
