Lunch options are available from and include buffet and specialties including roti and buss up shup. A variety of meats and vegetable options are offered to accommodate all diet preferences. Everything is prepared fresh and customer service was exceptional. The owner was on site and even more lovely than the pictures on display throughout the restaurant showcasing the visitors of all status that frequent Tassa. Many were notable including one from one of my favorite cooking shows! All items ordered were delicious which included a curry goat roti, a vegetarian roti and six doubles. I had heard about doubles from Trinidadian friends, but do not recall experiencing personally. The couple in line before me ordered 10 and I was intrigued! Doubles consisted of chick peas and potatoes inside of a round pastry that resembled a flattened biscuit, but with much better flavor. The filling was available in varying levels from hot to a bit sweeter. I selected a mixture of the two for my personal ones. Others I bought were hotter for my heat loving partner. Extremely popular in the Caribbean culture and now, I know why. Parking is available in the rear of restaurant, and ample dining space in two rooms. I thoroughly enjoyed this visit to Tassa for reasons mentioned above. Service has always been exceptional and informative - I ask questions! Will definitely return again and again!

The banana chocolate cake was also delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and decorations are unique. The service was excellent and the staff was very professional and catered to our needs. The place wasn't packed but don't let that bother you because the food is delicious! Parking is not the best but you can park on the side streets. If you have to walk, the food is worth every step! This is the perfect hidden gem. Stop by if you can, you will be glad you did!

As someone who is known for seeking out and truly testing vegetarian options at Caribbean…read morerestaurants, I have to say--Miss Conduck is easily the best Caribbean flavor restaurant in Atlanta. And coming from a Jamaican background, let me be clear: the usual Trinidad vs. Jamaica debate does not apply here. This place stands on its own. From the moment the food hit the table, one thing was consistent across everything we ordered: it was hot, fresh, and made with real intention and flavor. We started with the fried cauliflower bites. The batter was light, crispy, and well done--definitely a solid starter. I wasn't a big fan of the tartar sauce it came with, but it didn't take away from the quality of the cauliflower itself. My friend ordered the jerk chicken rolls, and I have to give credit where it's due--the sauce that came with those rolls was incredible. Easily one of the standout sauces of the night. Next, I had the doubles, and because I like my food with a kick, I asked for pepper sauce. Now, I'll admit--I made my first one obnoxiously hot. But what I discovered was the real winning combination: adding the callaloo on top of the doubles. That was the perfect match. The callaloo itself is blended with so many elements into a rich, flavorful purée, and when paired with the doubles, it created this burst of layered, authentic Caribbean flavor that was just on point. I also ordered a veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and chickpeas, and they did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, and every single item was clearly made with flavor in mind--not just thrown together as an afterthought for vegetarians. I also tried the macaroni pie--it's a smaller portion, but it's true Caribbean mac and cheese, rich and satisfying. The fried plantains were done perfectly--hot, fresh, and with that ideal balance of sweetness and texture. Then came the rasta pasta. My first couple of bites, I thought it needed a little more kick--but by the third bite, everything came together perfectly. You can taste the layers of vegetables building flavor, and there's a subtle heat that isn't overpowering but adds depth. The noodles were cooked exactly how they should be--perfect texture, not overdone, not undercooked. One thing I always pay attention to is this: Is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant also approved by meat eaters? And in this case, the answer is absolutely yes. My friend had the jerk chicken, and she said it was spectacular. She actually lives nearby and already plans to come back regularly. Honestly, I was surprised the place wasn't packed wall to wall. The atmosphere is incredible--it has its own unique style that really makes you feel like you've stepped into the Caribbean. The music, the vibe, everything is intentional. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We even watched them handle a large party, and they went above and beyond to make sure that group was fully taken care of. All in all, this place exceeded expectations on every level. Five stars without hesitation. If you're in Atlanta and want real Caribbean flavor--whether you eat meat or not--Miss Conduck is a must-visit. I highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing it for yourself.

The space felt authentically Jamaican, which added to the vibe. No oxtails available though, so just be prepared for that. Also, it was my server's first week, so give a little grace and patience with timing. The drinks were amazing. My only observation was that, like many places using fresh garnishes for cocktails, gloves weren't worn during drink prep but hey, maybe the alcohol handled the sanitation duties *shrugs* Overall, it was a really good experience and I'd definitely go back.
