Stopped by for the dinner buffet on a Saturday night. The staff immediately greeted us and immediately brought fresh, warm Naan. How awesome is that? The food was amazingly good -- Chicken tandoori, curries, mint chutney, flavorful samosas, coconut soup, and everything else you can think of. The atmosphere itself is quite lovely. We actually had a quiet dinner for once and the staff never bothers you. Once in a while, the girl at the front filled our waters and asked we need anything else. For unlimited portions and REALLY good food, this little restaurant is a must-try. Especially, if you have any first timers! read more

We have been here twice in the last couple weeks (since our favorite restaurant Nepal Cuisine has been closed for two weeks) and will not be returning. Our second visit, my 4 year old daughter, husband and myself came for dinner. We ordered and appetizer to start, Vegetable Pakora, it came out quickly and was quite tasty. We then waited, and waited for our waitress to return, she was just sitting behind the bar talking to a coworker. Finally I had to get up and ask for assistance from the other girl working. She came over to take our order, and not sure what the issue was, but she had no clue what I was saying, in spite of pointing to exactly what I was ordering on the menu, she was still confused...this is never a good sign. My daughter and husband are highly allergic to dairy, and I was worried this would be lost on the confused server. I pointed to "kids menu" and the "vegetarian" option since she didn't understand when I said it. I said "dairy free" about ten times, she seemed to understand and took the rest of our order and went to the bar to give our relaxing server our order. When the food came out, the fruit consisted of canned peaches and slimy old cucumbers which my daughter didn't want to eat. The lentil soup that came with it was a much lighter color than the last time we had ordered, but I didn't think about it at the time because we had waited so long we were starving! Luckily she only had one bite and also didn't like the soup, but my husband finished it for her. He immediately began having an allergic reaction, and she had one the next day. They had made her soup with regular milk, not coconut milk as we had asked! The regular menu items come out in a tiny bowl, w an even smaller portion of white rice, which would be fine if the staff came back to give you a chance to order more. The food isn't bad, but it's not great either. When you don't have competent people serving food, you are putting your customers health at risk, our dairy allergy isn't a preference, it is a medical condition and the food we were irresponsibly served made my family sick. Nepal Cuisine opens back up Friday and we will be giving them our business, and never returning the this establishment again. read more

I ordered from mt Everest via hungry buffs and it was great! Huge portions, Rich and tasty masala and lovely Vegetarian Samosa! Came with lots of dipping sauces! Also it came very fast! Probably 20 minutes. So yummy!! Would highly recommend! read more

The food here was awsome ! The lunch buffet is the best deal in the area. There chicken masala, samosas, curries, mango chutney, all very good. They even brought baskets of hot naan garlic bread. I eat Nepali and Indian food regularly. I have my places that I always go to. This is my new go to place in town (this includes Louisville etc.!) Great options for gluten free/dairy free people. Wonderful people working there. Nice environment. Wonderful buffet! So many options! Delicious delicious options. My only complaint is that they don't have gluten free naan like Tibet's in Louisville does so I will have to occasionally go back to Tibet's to get my naan fix but if that's the worst thing about this place - it's not really a complaint at all. read more

I think this restaurant has the best food ever!! Having tried all the Indian restaurants in Boulder and many in Denver, this is the one to visit. The food is truly excellent and the people sweet, sweet, sweet. I'm new here in Boulder, and I'm so lucky that I found this amazing restaurant in the first day I moved here. The waitress is very friendly and polite, and the place is very clean and warm. I always feel warm and comfortable here. Among those dishes, I love chicken soup very much. I was surprised that a chicken soup could be so tasty so yummy so delicious when I tried it first time. No need to mention the curry chicken, which is also my favorite. Thanks for the chef and thanks for the waitress, and because of here I won't feel alone in Boulder. I grabbed dinner from here while staying at the hotel behind them. The people were very nice. The food was just ok. It wasn't bad. But I've experienced better Indian cuisine at quite a few other places. Some of the chicken was a little hard to eat, and the spice level was far below what I would have expected (I ordered a 5 on the 1-7 scale, and I could have believed i ordered a 1. Just no kick). I really like this restaurant's selection of vegan & dairy free entrees and sides. They can make almost anything on the menu vegan! My dairy-free sweet potato masala was amazing. Visiting from New York where we have lots of top Indian restaurants to choose from and coming back hungry and tired from a long day of hiking to the Hilton Homewood Suites next door, we decided to give it a try for a quick dinner. On a Monday night the place was pretty empty but we were actually blown away by the food, which was authentic, delicious, and fresh. I just discovered this amazing place, right next to my $20 chiropractor! I highly recommend the lunch buffet. It's affordable and has really fantastic vegetarian choices. Everything you eat here will be excellent. My boyfriend doesn't really love Indian food that much but he said this place has changed his mind and he will be back. I am utterly and completely appalled! My wife is a bigger woman, and after her third time through the buffet a waitress came over and asked her if she was eating and then throwing up in the bathroom. I looked at her and said are you kidding right now is this a joke and she replied no I've seen it happen before. Are you kidding me? Where in the hell do you get off speaking that way to my wife or anyone?! Unbelievable! The food may be good but the people are absolutely disgusting. This was by far, the best Nepalize / Indian food we have had in the 17 years we have been in Boulder. We happened to try it out at the last minute and were so happy we did, otherwise we would have simply stuck with the regular and pretty good Indian restaurant we usually go to close to our home. For sure try out the coconut curry, we had it with shrimp and there were tons more shrimp than usually come in any dishes, especially for the price, which is comparable. Sizes are large and we ended up taking enough home after all eating heartily, for another whole meal for our family of 5. The lamb vindaloo and saag are also outstanding, as were the samosas and momos. Nan is robust, fresh and delicious! Added bonus are the lovely servers, who help you feel welcomed and at home from the time they greet you at the door until the time you leave. We also learned that it is a family and locally-owned business, so on all accounts, we are happy to call this our new favorite Boulder restaurant! read more
