It was my first time getting a facial last week. I came in a little nervous because I get a lot of acne and my skin is really sensitive. Had a 6pm appointment. Got there early & the door was locked. After knocking numerous times and confirming with several other tenants of the building I was at the right spot--I called the number. No answer. Voicemail instructed to text the number so I did. When she finally responded she said she wanted to push it back 45 minutes. I understand things come up but she could've reached out to me BEFORE I drove all the way there. Who waits for a customer to reach out to them 10 mins after their appointment time to push it back almost an hour? I'm just supposed to sit in this hallway for 45 minutes? She was barely apologetic and did not refund the classpass credits as she promised and I have to now go through Classpass customer service to get this refunded. Super disrespectful and unapologetic for wasting other people's time. Extremely disappointed and looking at her reviews and responses to others on Google/Yelp this seems to be standard protocol. This woman's response just goes to show the abhorrent behavior, arrogance and rudeness she has towards people. It's a reflection of how she runs her business and the quality the services you'd get, or lack thereof. Everyone - please read this to see just how she deals with customers so you are warned. Do not set foot into this woman's business. If she is willing to slam the phone in the face of a customer inquiring about her booking practices on ClassPass, then it goes to show how she would treat you. As for your "no welcome" list - you'd be doing me a favor. Take some lessons on class and respect and check your ego at the door. Your business won't last long like this. Let me break it down for those who are interested: if you are a business on ClassPass, you are required to make sure your availabilities on the platform are UP TO DATE. This ensures that you are booking people on the correct schedule, and that they don't have any ClassPass fees forfeited. If a person were to book a class, show up and you not be able to take them in, those fees are forfeited unless they go through a whole process with ClassPass customer service on why they didn't actually miss the class (since it would be registered as a no show on their end), OR if you cancel the class (as you are supposed to in these cases). In this business' case, she had all sorts of availabilities open. All times were open on all days. I booked a 2pm slot, and received a confirmation email from classpass. Had I not called her beforehand to check that she is actually available at that time, I would have gone all the way to her location, wasted my time just to be turned away and had my money for the reservation forfeited, since it would be registered as a no show. She didn't even have the decency to fix this issue on her end, and it is quite rightly her fault. When I called to inquire about the booking, she said she absolutely could not see me today and that it was impossible. I said ok then please cancel the class otherwise my money's gone. She refused. She said it wasn't her problem, and proceeded to argue with me about how she has nothing to do with it. I let her know this was unacceptable as it is her problem, she fixes her own schedule. And then she proceeded to hang up the phone in my face. Moral of the story: beware. Had I not called, and she not cancelled on her end, she would've pocketed those fees through the ClassPass booking or caused a forfeiture on the customer's end. Instead of simply apologizing and fixing the issue, she'd rather go on a rampage. read more

If you have been suffering from chronic fatigue all your life, and your conditions worsened during/ post pandemic, then read this: First of all, fatigue as you know is a feeling of constant tiredness or weakness; It can be physical, mental or a combination of both. Like many, the work from home, sitting long hours, back to back virtual meetings/phone calls, lead to worsening of my fatigue. Fortunately, I read health and wellness books/articles routinely especially the old medicinal texts. Early medical traditions open a new gate of understanding of our body physically and mindfully, and offers natural healing remedies based on your nature (nature healing nature). When I say "your nature", I refer to the four temperaments (sanguine, melancholic, choleric, and phlegmatic). Each person has a base temperament genetically. Then food, lifestyle, environment, epigenetic, impact us in a certain way changing the PH pf our body, and eventually our thought (mind). That's why you keep hearing "We are what we eat". Healing, is reversing the adverse impact. For someone with the chronic fatigue, anything that is a contributing factor to the fatigue must be removed. I am ritually very mindful of my food (no meat, no dairy, no soda, no canned food, no preserved food, no sugar, no dry yeast food, no fried chips, no hard-digesting grains/vegetables such as white rice or corn, no coffee, no black tea). Removing these over the time helped a lot, but did not totally eliminate the fatigue. One chronic fatigue remedy that I learned was this 40-day healing: -Cold destabilizing events: A diet to remove all cold-nature things from the body including foods that have cold nature (dairy, meat, coffee/black tea, cold environment (wind/ cold air) and anything that blows the cold wind into the bones/veins/fluids. - Cupping: Cupping of the back/upper back/arms/legs/full body. The text didn't say hot or dry cupping- I chose dry cupping. The cupping is not every day, it has a specific schedule in the 40 day. - Complete Head massage (with either black-seed oil or lavender oil): Head/face/forehead/sinuses)/Neck/Jaw/around ears. The no-cold regimen part was pretty easy; but it was working slowly without the head massage and cupping. Any place that I called, they either didn't have cupping, or didn't offer face/head full massage. Here in LA there's hot cupping (Chinese fire cupping) offered as add-on to a foot or body massage. Rarely you'd find an aesthetician knowing dry cupping. Dry cupping is safer for delicate areas such as face/jaw line/arms, but it takes longer to work because in dry cupping there's no heat but the repetition of the cupping delivers the same result as hot cupping. Finally, after days searching online, I found MT Skin Clinic and called to see if they were open on that Sunday afternoon. Misha kindly answered all my question and although it was late, she stayed longer for my facial massage. I guess I have the Guinness record in most facials in the world and with the touch of the aesthetician's fingertips I know the caliber of the massage's effectiveness. All I can say is that it was priceless and the best face/head massage ever. I could breathe easily. When I got home, I was still thinking about cupping and texted Misha if she also knew/offered cupping...AND SHE SAID YES!!! :) Misha made a lifetime client. People; Give yourself another chance to be full of energy. Don't lose in the battle of Fatigue vs. Life. Get your life back. If you are reading this review, that means you have been thinking about this facial, massage, skin care, cupping, for a while, and I am writing this for YOU to stop thinking and to take action.
