This rather upscale and vibrant lounge located in "Uptown" Whittier California has all the accoutrements one would expect in a late hour establishment. A DJ, a fully stocked bar and seating to accommodate large groups. The music played crossed all genre but on this night 80's music rained supreme. The crowd was lively, energetic and enthusiastic, which, made for an enjoyable atmosphere. Bottle service was entertaining and visually captivating as it garnered the attention of partygoers whenever they saw the bright lights and servers carrying champagne and various other types of liquors. Although, the crowd was large and remained that way up until closing you were able to maneuver around without too much difficulty. I was definitely impressed with the lounge's design and overall layout. Came here on Friday for a friends bday party. Totally revamped bar. Used to a Pescadora restaurant, but its been totally remodeled. Massive bar in the middle. Beer wise, only carries Modelo and Ultra, in bottle and can. Otherwise, the majority of drinks are mixed. Lounge seating is all around the room along the walls, but you can tell they are reserved for parties. Some seating on one side of the bar. Other side of the bar, is standing only. They did have a DJ on this day. People were kinda dancing around there areas, since no real dance designated area. They do have a nice patio outside, that you can reserve for parties as well. What a beautiful place in uptown Whittier. It sure does beat attempting to drive downtown, Hollywood or any of the nearby cities for a good time. The place is gorgeous, has an outside patio and the music is fun and alive. I've been twice and enjoyed myself on both occasions. It's such a classy and beautiful venue, can't remember how much the drinks cost but the space is worth the money. Only thing I was missing was some punta, maybe some afrobeats but I get it. I came to this place and ordered a Modelo beer, paid with a $50 bill. The bartender gave me $12 back. I told her, I gave you a $50 bill and she said, Let me go check the register and came back and said I gave her a $20 bill. Basically, she ripped me off and kept my change. The layout here is great. Lots of room to sit, walk around, and dance. The patio area is beautiful and spacious. Bar area is huge and you can order from both front and back side. The downfall here is the service. I've come on two different occasions and the bartenders are not very happy or friendly. They do have many alcohol options to choose from but don't expect a fruity flavored margarita or mojito here ( although their house marg is delicious.) They're limited on mixers is basically what it is. No draft beer, only two options of bottled beer which are Modelo and Michelob. There's no other set up like this in uptown so it's nice to have a lounge vibe here. read more

New bar in Whittier! Really loved the inside and plenty of room to dance. DJ was exclusively playing Spanish music. Smaller menu to look at but plenty of different alcohol. I tried their margarita and it tasted super weird. We went for their 2/17 event and it was definitely very spacious inside and not a lot of people. This venue is pretty cool, I came on a Thursday for a pre valentines day party for a friends bday. I was surprised by the music format, it was very eclectic like something you would hear on KCRW, super cool and sexy. The down side of this almost perfect evening was the service at the bar. You have two grumpy dudes in baseball caps that look like and I assume are the owners, they look miserable there, and definitely bring a negative vibe to the place, and they have the over exaggerated BBL bartender, with no welcoming personally at all. Every drink I ordered, wasn't consistent with the last one, even tho I ordered the same thing all night, all of my drinks tasted different. We ordered some food, it never came out, and when we finally asked about it, it turned out they gave it to someone else, we had to reorder our food, and they had ran out of what we originally ordered. The topper was when I closed my tab at the end of the night, it was a little over $100, thats totally fine, considering what I had ordered, but the next morning, I found that my credit card was charged over 3 different times, adding up to over $300 + charges. Considering it wasn't a busy night, I can't believe how many things went wrong, it's unfortunate because I was really looking forward to coming back here. read more
