Giving a 1 star because we tipped 18% and had the server FOLLOW US OUT TO OUR CAR and yell at us asking why we didn't like his service. I was a server for 5 years and never did anything like that even if I wasn't tipped at all. It was super uncalled for. We apologized, it wasn't super intentional we were in a group and split the check so I think things got confusing. Definitely our fault for not tipping more but being followed to our car and yelled at was out of line. read more

We sat at the bar and the very personable Jess immediately got our food and drink orders, it was cool to see her draft the cocktails. we chatted with her and ended up trying a few specialty cocktails. we also got nachos and they were outstanding! i wasn't crazy for one of the drinks i got, and Maya heard Jess talking it over with us. She also had deep knowledge of the flavor notes in this drink, and suggested a modification that would be more to my liking for the next round, and she was absolutely correct! we had such a great experience with these ladies, the interesting new flavors, and those great nachos! read more

I was surprised to see this place only has 3.5 stars. Went for brunch today and was blown away by the drinks and food. They don't use a mix for their margaritas, which is so hard to find, and it was magnificent! The food was crave-worthy. We cannot wait to go back! Their house Margarita is the best Margarita I have had in Maryland. We live in Albquerque, New Mexico & have a condo in Havre de Grace to stay in when we come back (often) to visit family. Love the touch of a slice of jalapeño in the margarita. I had the mahi mahi taco's; which were really good. Split an order of churros for dessert. The chips had no salt. The salsa was bland. I had the entree that was recommended by the waitress that was not on the menu. Some shrimp dish that she raved over that had corn on it. It had at best 12 kernels of corn on the dish. It too was bland and tasteless. The only good thing I can say is the waitress was friendly. read more

Mucho gusto is most authentic Mexican restaurant I have tried in the United States. This new establishment just opened up and it's a must try. The have tradition Tex Mex dishes like fajitas and tacos or as they call them the "familiars" but they have so much more. When you sit down they bring freshly made hot chips with salsa. Then make sure to ask for the homemade guacamole, made right at your table. Ask for a taste of their delicious homemade mole sauce, yes traditional mole sauce that is to die for. It's rich and if you like it, get it smothered in chicken, one of their dishes that my friend had. Of course they have a crab cake, but with a Latin twist which is outstanding. I ate their octopus special with poblano mashed potatoes, I savored every bite. Don't forgot dessert, they make excellent tres leche and churros. Also, make sure to have a drink. They don't use simple syrup but natural agave. All their fruit flavored cocktails are made with fresh fruit like my strawberry daiquiri. My friend has an ice cold glass of beer that was delicious. Let's talk About the ambience, this place is huge, with a large bar, upfront kitchen view seating, a lounge area for nightlife and a private room with private entrance and tv for private occasions. They are also spotless, the kitchen is visible and everyone is wearing a mask and gloves and is constantly cleaning empty tables etc. and check out the bathrooms they are all unique and private which is a plus. The staff is so friendly, my server really got to know me and my friend that I will be going back and requesting her. Mexican isn't necessary my favorite cuisine, but let me tell you this isn't your average Latin cuisine, this is a culinary experience that will leave you satisfied without breaking your budget. Best Mexican Food we have had in Harford County. Everything is fresh and delicious! Their homemade hot sauce is a must add to every meal. It's spicy with flavor. I couldn't even tell you what we ate because everything was flavorless. Pretty sure I had fish tacos but there was just about no seasoning on anything. In terms of service, the waitress brought my daughter a drink in a glass and I immediately asked her to put it in a kids cup (with a lid) to avoid spills. Instead of taking it to the back and filling it up herself, she brought the cups to the table and left. We attempted to transfer the drink to the new cup and it spilled all over the table. Uninspiring Mexican food served in a modern feeling restaurant with a great staff. Ordered a Elote to go with our Hibiscus and Mango margaritas and chips and salsa. The Elote was ok. They use what tasted like tajin seasoning instead of the cayenne chili powder and fresh squeezed lime juice we are use to in Mexico. So it tasted off. The parts without the seasoning itself, were good. The margaritas were great and the salsa was bland. No heat, no chunks, just red water that stuck to a chip. The Pollo Con Rajas (chicken with poblano peppers in a Mexican cream sauce) tasted good, but not like any Mexican dish we ever had. Honestly it tasted like Alfredo sauce to us. It also had very little poblano peppers in it. The beans were great. Giz ordered the Cochinita Pibil (marinated pork loin) which was delicious. Just wished the dishes were served with tortillas and pico de Gallo so we could of made tacos. The arroz blanco on both dishes was crunchy. The waitress offered to replace it, we just declined and did not eat it. read more

Sorry to leave a bad review and perhaps we hit an off night... wait an hour for a table, have the first two entrees selected not available, have two entrees delivered to table and wait 10 minutes for the other two, and to end the meal have the fried ice cream served about 8 minutes before the cake. And yes we waited to be polite and had melted cream in our cold dough. Definitely not worth the price or time. Upside - good gauc and delicious margaritas. This was my first restaurant outing since the beginning of quarantine! Ronnie our server was supremely courteous and helpful! Our food was delicious and the entire staff were friendly. i would say its the kind of place you'd want to go if you're going to spend time talking and catching up with friends (which I why I went) because the wait time was a bit long before we got our food. Don't waste your time/money unless you like being abused and poorly served by the staff... Our waiter was "Mauro P"; he completely lacked customer service skills and should find a job working outside of the service industry. Just a quick couple of highlights; when one of us ordered a water as their drink he remarked "You're boring", rolled his eyes on more than one occasion, smart remarks under his breath and then rushed us out without thanking us for coming, etc. It got so bad that we started seeking out other staff for drink refills because of his mouth... Yes we complained to management, their answer was to comp a few drinks... This was a $300 bill as this was for the birthday of a family member - still held us to the "20% gratuity" despite the acknowledgment of poor service (appears Mauro P doesn't discriminate and treats everyone like crap). So; this is a reflection of poor management and poor ownership - your frontline represents your character and I guess you spoke clearly about how you care for the community you serve. Over priced and the food and service not good. Shrimp taco consisted of shrimp and red cabbage wrapped in a small soft taco shell like the kind you'd get at Taco Bell. I loved my first visit here! Very neat, modern style with the classic Mexican food you love. Service was a little slow, but all the food we had was great! I had a watermelon margarita which was one of my favorite margs I've ever had! I loved the elote, although my friends weren't as much of a fan, and we loved our burrito, enchiladas and chimichanga. Last minute decision to go here, what a choice! Very impressive tequila list with mezcal and sotol. Table side guacamole is fantastic, crab cake was better than expected and the enchiladas pablanas were very very good. Sangria was great as well as the jalapeño margherita. The server and mixologist were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of both the food and cocktail menu. The only downside to this dining experience was that it eventually came to an end. Repeat customers and loved it when it first opened. Each time we went it would be a little less appealing. We went tonight and it was the last straw. They must of changed their management. We waited 45 min. for our meal and the white rice resembled minute rice and the beans were cold. The carnitas on flour tortillas were more like sloppy Joe's and fell apart when my husband tried to eat them. Very disappointed and will not be returning. read more
