Nans Chicken nuggets on the run.
    Jennifer A.

I have been eating here on and off for two years about one to three times a week and I have yet to have a bad meal. Even if they run out of something and substitute it for something else the meal is outstanding. Good clean eating comfort food. I live alone and don't cook so this place has been a lifesaver and keeps me from eating crappy food from one of those chain fast food places. Try it for yourself. If you are a true foodie you will NOT be disappointed. I normally get a grain bowl but I've attached a photo of the time I ordered Nans boneless chicken...yummy!

Nan's Fried Chicken Dinner (for 4).

Today's lunch from Nan's was delicious. My tender sliced brined chicken breast was served over a generous portion of farro and lentils. These can be bland grains and legumes, but they certainly aren't after Nan "zhuzhes" them up with olives, peppers, onion, and spices. The roasted golden beets were sweet and refreshing, though I didn't get any blood orange in my serving of beets. Still, I love beets, and they were great despite the lack of citrus mentioned on the menu description. All the sauces I tried were excellent, including the z'houg and tahini. While everything was delicious, it was also quite salty...perhaps it was the cracked olives on many dishes, but even the sauces were very salt-forward. Ordering through Toast or their own App is easy, and my order was ready as expected (30 minutes after placing order).

What here after my friend's daughter's birthday. He hyped this place up, and I don't say no to his hype as he is typically on point. Nan's is incredible. I had: Pesto chicken (great) Hot honey sandwich (the best!) Chicken fingers (great) Can't wait to come back.

I use to frequent here all the time and it looks like they are more popular than before. Huge plus they have more dining space now. We sat in and consistently seen people come to dine in during the lunch hour. Overall food remained consistently yum during our visit. Love having the herb brined chicken bowl with carrots, broccoli, and cheese cauliflower. Always a solid and a "healthier" option.

Food is great. Matcha green tea hot and iced, delicious. Service was excellent. Friendly knowledgeable. Thank you Christian. I made it inside today for the first time. Spotless kitchen and dining areas with lots of natural sunlight. We both had the chicken sammies. Excellent food but no pictures. Ate them before I remembered to take pics. Maybe next time.

So. darn. delicious. It's a little bit out of our way but Hoo boy when we want some really really good sandwiches, we know exactly where to go! Highly recommend ordering ahead as ordering from the counter takes a while, especially if you have the little ones in tow. We just had the hot honey chicken Sammie and the crunchy broccoli salad and they were both awesome. Staff are friendly and welcoming, seating area is barebones but functional. Excellent soda selection

Chicken sandwiches were delicious, but blueberry Meyer lemon tea did not contain fruits as pictured.

Lovely roadside market with hot foods, grab and go items, small pantry selection, wine and beer. Vibe: upscale market serving gourmet foods, several tables indoors. Service: Impeccable. The people behind the counter were so damn lovely. We got to sample a couple things before ordering. Food came out in a timely manner. Food: A bit hit or miss but the hits really hit. Grilled cheese: Not my jam, a bit over buttered and I didn't get the gruyere flavor Bone-in fried chicken: Superb, no notes. Crispy and tasty skin/breading, juicy and tender meat. Smoky beets: Excellent flavor, perfectly prepared, really cool. Mud pie: Decadent. Not even sure what all the layers were but they were all so good We also got the caramelized onion chocolate bar which was funky but not tasty enough for $16 imo Overall had a great experience and solid food at Nan's, the vibe of the place and the employees is really warm and lovely, would definitely go back and would recommend.

Excellent Organic, crisp white and robust red wine selection.

The person was immediately agitated saying they don't do online orders and they don't do curbside- like it was my fault their systems still allowed it. I told her I placed the order and got a confirmation email. After lots of huffing and puffing I heard her ask someone else if the do online orders then she came back on the phone and said they had my order inside. I asked if they could bring it out and she said no, we're too busy and hung up on me. I had to leave my kid in the car cause we weren't dressed to get out. Once I was inside the place was empty, not busy at all. The food itself was ok but portions were pathetic. I try to support local but will not be going back after this experience.

The underlying donut was somewhat firm (a minus) and cool to the touch (a minus)-- most likely refrigerated, as this was a late spring visit on a warm day. Bready, briochy taste to the donut, with no sweetness (neither plus nor minus), letting the toppings and fillings handle that. Plenty of yellow vanilla pudding inside (a plus for quantity). No seating inside (a minus) but a single metal table outside that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks (big minus). Filled with pollen. I do like the selection (big plus) and the crazy flavors will appeal to a wide range of tastes, but there are places where you can still get a fresh donut and sometimes even a warm one. Rocco's doesn't seem to be one of them. Not bad by any means but not screaming out for a revisit.

Upon walking inside, you'll immediately feel like you've gone back in time. It gives off a very classic, old-fashioned diner feel, with booth seating and red stools along the counter. Important to note that this place is cash only. Lobster and other seafoods are advertised as their specialty both online and within the restaurant. I never had a lobster roll before, and unfortunately, this place made me think lobster rolls were mediocre and overrated (and then I had my life changed by lobster rolls from other places). FOOD: Lobster Roll (6 oz.) (2.75/5) - I opted for mine to be served warm with butter. It came with a side of slaw and very generous portion of onion rings and fries. The lobster roll itself was lukewarm and the melted butter came on the side in a small plastic cup. (I was expecting for the butter to be more incorporated.) The lobster sat on a small bed of cut lettuce. The lettuce wasn't of the freshest quality as some pieces tasted strangely bitter. The lobster was a tad rubbery, and everything was overall bland to me. I found myself reaching for the salt shaker more than would have wanted to. SERVICE: I believe a new hire was getting trained during my visit, so it was a bit clumsy. However, I found it rather charming. They are all very warm people, and you can tell that this is a family owned establishment, which is why I really wanted to like this place. TLDR// Unfortunately, did not have the greatest first lobster roll experience here. Hopefully, I went on an off day or I was better off ordering something else.
