The food all tastes not right. It looks like a cupcake, but it doesn't taste that great. The cupcake tastes like it smells. It doesn't smell bad or anything like that. Other people seem to like them. My mother raves about it, but I don't see what all the excitement is for. I can get better cupcakes at Shaw's. Also there are not enough tables for when there is a lot of people. I've gone in and had to stand in a ridiculously long line with not an open table in sight. It feels very tight in that tiny space. They have a lot of things that I haven't tried but I don't like when I go there that much because I don't eat anything. read more

I have been to The Muffin House a lot. I have had a raspberry square, a banana nut blueberry muffin, different scones, coffee, brownies... everything i have had was AMAZING!! Everything if FULL of flavor! Lots of fruit in each item. It is by far the best bakery i have ever been to and i have traveled all over the world. Scones are better here then in my home country of England. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. Go out of your way to go there. You won't be sorry. read more

Poor management. The location in Medway is where you want to go. At the Mendon location they forget orders, don't put in your order, have you wait 20 minutes for your bagel to have them tell you they're out of that kind after you already placed your order and paid because they forgot to put it in and ran out. Very poor service and customer service. I highly recommend the one in Medway. They are doing things right. read more

This is such a cute little pastry shop. They always have a great selection of baked goods, amazing coffee and a friendly staff!

One of the last places you can get scratch baked cookies and muffins that aren't made in a "factory" and sold as fresh. Owner is down to earth guy that takes pride in everything that is on the shelf. I have been to both locations and it is out go to if we want a sandwich or any one of their delicious cookies. If you think a muffin from Stop and Shop is good then you probably won't appreciate how good the food actually is here. Food is priced fair for what is is. Muffin House Cafe EASILY has the best muffins I've ever had in my life. Each variety I've tried has been big, moist, flavorful, and fresh. This Café is wonderful! Not only does it have delicious flavored iced coffee (I ordered Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough) the food is mouth watering! The tuna melt melted in my mouth. Coffee was okay, but it wasn't the freshest tasting, was a bit weak flavored. I tried the eclair and it tasted like it was frozen (or in a fridge for a while) and the cookie sandwich was pretty similar. The lemon square was good and the customer service was good though. read more

Not satisfied with the service. Ordered several sandwiches on a croissant but they ran out of particular bread, was only informed after the fact you paid already. The flavored ice coffee taste bland, as in you couldn't taste the flavor you ordered. Cleanliness: not so clean. First time here and would be my last. read more

My service was TERRIBLE, my daughters bagel was more cream cheese than bagel, my - crossaint - breakfast sandwich wasn't even toasted (wtf), and it took forever so I was late dropping her off at daycare. I've been there before but just for a coffee (which was quite good actually) so being there longer this time I noticed that there was a small amount of people in the store, but instead of the staff making it a pleasant experience for the customers they huddled behind the counter or somewhere in the back except the poor girl who was stuck cooking our food. To top it off, the screens to sign on were disgusting which is when I went to go use the restroom and wash my hands before eating and noticed the front of the store looked decent but the back where it must be employees only was gross read more

Went in to the muffin house in mendon today and it was exceptional. I am there every day for my 8 o'clock coffee run and I am usually served by two of the girls that are working. One of them is blonde and the other is really tan with brown hair. They're polite and prompt and my coffee (and sometimes sandwich) is always perfect. 5 stars for those two!! read more

I watched as two girls were loading boxes of pastry to go ( i assume for an order) eating pastry at same time and with same hand they with handling food with, one with gloves the other without.. so i'd like to say that the service is insanely slow... i waited 20 min for a ham egg and cheese and a coffee...may i add that the sandwich was an egg sandwich with a minuscule piece of ham that was completely fat. Their muffins are the best, and I typically don't care for muffins, but these are so moist and flavorful, I can eat them anytime. Their coffee is decent if you find one that you like. I personally prefer the sugary syrup drinks, so there are only a few, like Big Lou's iced mocha, that I enjoy getting here. They are more known for subtle flavored coffees, which my wife enjoys. Today, I visited the Mendon location for the first time. At 10:20 am there was no wait. The server was pleasant and acknowledge me right away. My coffee was prepared as requested and the maple cranberry walnut muffin was very good. Both locations offer very good fresh "brewed flavored" coffee (possibly New England Coffee) which is no longer offered at the donut chains. At quick glance this location seem to have a few less flavors of muffins than the Medway shop but the muffins also appeared larger than the other shop. The order area and seating area were well organized and clean. Glad I stopped. read more

There were so many delicious pastries in the case so it was hard to choose but the blueberry muffin looked fantastic and was calling to me.
