    "James" Scone
    Gary G.

Cute little place oozing with old-time charm, wealthy-looking customers from old-time money, and old photos showcasing Westford's old-time history. All the details fit, right down to the little ding-a-ling-a-ling bell when you open the door. It's the kind of place you might love or hate based just on the previous vibe, but the quality of the baked goods (muffins, muffin tops, scones, cinnamon buns) and coffee (not just good, but great) should swing the pendulum quickly toward the love side. Great staff too. Coffee: Two blends; I've only tried the dark roast and really like it more than almost every other coffee in the area. My wife likes their Chai latte and she's not easy to please (for lattes, anyway). Muffins: They're small, which might cause complaints, but that's actually a plus, because it allows room to try two different ones. They're fairly light, with the batter nothing special, but the toppings and fillings are where they shine. Although I'm a chocolate guy, my favorite are the blueberry-lemon, which are very fresh and homemade tasting. Good streusel (crumble) content. Muffin Tops: Similar to the muffins, with most muffin flavors also available as muffin tops. Scones: I like these a lot, because they're not dry like most scones and don't use tons of sugar to compensate like most scone-wannabes. They're real scones, with a denser feel than muffins and more of a biscuit flavor, as a scone should have. There are usually several varieties available. My favorite is the "James" that has a mix of blueberries and raspberries with a lemon glaze. Cinnamon Buns: Nicely done. Not gargantuan like most and not as sticky as most, but they do the job nicely. Although the regulars swear by them and camp out for them much like Springsteen fans, I like the muffins and scones more. Service: Stay a while and you'll notice many customers recognized and greeted by name. Cheerful, helpful service and the owner mingles frequently.

I had never heard of this place until I saw it appear on my Yelp as a nearby business. Looking at the reviews, I knew I had to check it out! Wow, color me impressed! It's a super cute house that has a few tables with rotating muffins, scones, and other baked goods like apple cake or cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls were so soft and sweet - I'm usually very picky with cinnamon rolls but these were amazing. In addition to the muffins, the scones are also fantastic - they're very moist with fillings which goes well with the drier crumb. It's a super charming place with some street parking in front (and you do a U turn in the driveway across to get back towards 495). The only bummer is I've tried to dine in a few times because I wanted to have a griddled muffin but the tables were always full (even though people had finished eating). A lot of locals clearly make this a morning routine to get together with each other, which is great, but I haven't figured out a good time to come for breakfast. They also will run out - I came by 10:30 and they were already out of cinnamon rolls so make sure to plan accordingly!

If ever in this area this is worth the drive. Quaint and friendly service. Scones and muffins are phenomenal!

First time trying out this cute bakery! A great New England colonial style environment. With a story to tell in every corner. We did the medium roast coffee , a berry scone and two little cupcakes. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. Great job Girls ! All the local artistic elements decorated throughout the place. There is truly no boring corner. There area a few tables and a dining bar, I can see this place having packed mornings. And I'm super grateful that we came when it was a bit slower. We actually had a change to enjoy all the little trinkets and displayed art(also for sale) The muffins and scones were impeccably delicious, if you ever just wanted a sweet start and a grounding morning. The scones were filed with blueberries and raspberries with a juicy gush in every bite! I had two cute muffinettes that were the perfect amount of moist sweetness to dip in my morning cup of Joe. Chocolate chip and blueberry ! Bring me back to grandmas kitchen is what I will be yearning for from now on. Can't wait to be back !

I wish I could give Sindu the owner of Westford Bakery a glowing review, but I simply can't. First…read moreof all, her attitude is terrible. I have experienced this at her stall during the Westford Rosenbush Community Center Farmer's Market as well as a paying client for my daughter's birthday. She seems very grumpy when speaking to her in person, however I noticed she is nice to certain people. But, her lychee cupcakes are good so I gave her the benefit of the doubt since she has skill. The cupcakes I tried at the market had a lychee on top of the cupcake and were $4. For my daughter's birthday, I ordered $96 worth of cupcakes, which is a size-able order in this economy. I attached my order as a picture to this review. I'm not at all embarrassed to do so. I hope the owner sees this and improves. I asked her in advance if she had individual packaging for mini cupcakes because otherwise I could provide it. She took awhile to respond and I had to check in for which she responded she did have the packaging. So, ok great, I thought. I can relax on the dessert front and continue to plan the rest of the party. When it came to picking up the cupcakes, she did not send me a message in advance for when to come. So, I reached out obviously and asked if I could come at 8 am since the party was at 10 am and I needed to pack the mini cupcakes in gift bags. She did not respond, so I had to call her to confirm because I didn't want to show up at her house and have the order not ready. When I called her, she gave me attitude and asked if I could come later. No, I cannot come later because I need the cupcakes for part of the children's favor gifts. "Fine," she says. And I move on, annoyed but giving her the benefit of the doubt because I have owned a home bakery business during COVID times. I know how busy it gets and how stressful it can be. Well, when pick up the cupcake order, I am annoyed. Why aren't there lychees on the lychee cupcakes, which were bare...just cupcake and frosting. And also, the mini cupcakes which were suppose to be a gift for the kids, were kept upside down in dipping cups (the kind you get at a pizzeria to store red chilli flakes). Honestly, I would have still been ok with the packaging if they were flipped right side up and LABELED. These are for children, which I explained multiple times- you can't give unlabeled cupcakes without even a business label to a customer. That is just extremely unprofessional. Also, I have seen on her Instagram account that she does decorate cupcakes. So, I feel like she just makes baked goods the way she wants to for whoever she wants to or you have to catch her on a less busy day. My daughter's birthday was at the end of October. I put my order in way ahead of time (2 months ahead) at the end of August. She should be ashamed of herself. But she gets 3 stars because it all tasted good. Some comments I received were that the guava cupcake was way too sweet and the mango lassi cupcake tasted like pumpkin. Everyone enjoyed the lychee cupcake.

After getting it, we split the sub and ate it in the car. Let me tell you that this was not the same steak tip I remembered. It was so bad, we tossed it in the garbage at the gas station next door. The steak was very tough and hard to chew - almost like the tips had been cooked earlier and then reheated for my order. Everything just seemed greasy. We also did not enjoy the raspberry turnover or yellow cream cannoli's we got for dessert. Maybe it was us or maybe it was the food but I will never go there again.
