The drinks here are excellent! They have a large variety of Matcha, more so than most other coffee shops I have been to. Service was so friendly and fast. They're very welcoming and hard-working here. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating and plenty of easy parking. The matcha was absolutely delicious, we tried a variety of them from mango to tease and lemonades, and the pineapple macho was my favorite. I wish they would open up more locations throughout Los Angeles, we need more places like this, especially at this price point! I had high expectations for this coffee shop. I ordered a large iced vanilla latte with vanilla cold foam with a plain bagel and cream cheese. For me personally the latte was way too milky and not enough cold foam or ice. It was more sour than normal but still ok. The bagel was very dry and they don't give enough cream cheese. I honestly really liked this place. It wasn't very busy, which I loved more. I have seen other post about to place and I finally gave it a try. It was a lot better than I normally thought, the place seemed simple but their coffee was a lot better than what it seems. It was also a little cheaper than what I normally pay for 2 coffee. I normally pay around $15-$17, but here I spent $12 which is obviously a win lol. The service was also super nice, super clean, simple aesthetic. I stopped in San Dimas for work, I am not from the area, so this was my first impression. The drink itself I got was lackluster. I got the Blueberry Horchata Latte and added vanilla cold foam, its somehow bitter/not sweet while being sour at the same time (almost like it was just straight espresso and milk.) There was no real blueberry flavor, and there is not really a horchata flavor either. I ended up asking for some more of the horchata flavoring to sweeten the latte some more and it definitely helped out flavor wise. Personally, I think they should condense their menu to focus solely on matcha and espresso drinks, the items have so much potential, the ratios of sweetness to espresso flavor on the drinks are just one sided to me. The menu itself inside the store is so packed with so many drinks and flavors, it can be hard to really distinguish what prices could add up to. The spot itself is cute and quaint, they have a bathroom for customers that is clean and relatively well stocked. No music was playing during my visit so that made the interactions with the baristas feel kind of akward and not very natural, as customer service should be. My final point is that they do not have wifi available for customers. read more

My sisters and I were looking for a new coffee shop and came across MUGS. We were right down the street and the name reminded us of a favorite shop we'd visit in Colorado so we had to come. Iced Banana Horchata Latte This drink was for my dad & he said it was really good. He mentioned how the banana flavor was natural, didn't taste artificial. 2. Iced Mexican MUGS Mocha My sister was so happy to see a place offering an iced Mexican mocha. A lot of coffee shops that we've visited don't serve it iced which can be annoying especially during these hot months. She is a big mocha fan and said it was great. 3. Iced Horchata Matcha (Machata) Latte As a matcha and horchata lover this was a must have for me. Overall it was very good, my only recommendation is that if you like a strong matcha taste definitely ask for another scoop. I felt like the matcha was light and I prefer a stronger flavor. The inside of the store was really nice, I liked the tables and could see myself doing some work there. I'm not sure if they have wifi but if they do I'd definitely go to study! My standard: bold espresso that isn't too tart, a sweetener that doesn't taste too artificial and not too much of it, and not too much milk-to-espresso ratio. I normally add an extra shot of espresso. Just the right mix of bold and sweet. I would not get coffee here again because it tasted watered down and had no strong flavors. The coffee wasn't strong, the syrup wasn't strong...it was super bland. I asked them to add more syrup after I tasted it and even then it was just like a hint of a flavor.
