This is a nice store to check out. They provide simple classic purses, but also some vibrant colors during spring and summer. So far I am satisfied with the purses I got here. The store ambiance is neat, simple, and cozy. For a small store space, they have 2-3 sales advisors available at the store. I purchased a wallet from the Mulberry website and it ended up being shipped from this store. It arrived incredibly quickly and was well- and beautifully packaged and wrapped. It felt like I was receiving a gift. I mean, it basically was a present to myself, but it's not like I had requested gift wrapping (I can't remember if that was even an option), and I've purchased more expensive items from other high-end stores where all they did was toss it in a dust bag haphazardly and call it a day. I came in a few weeks ago asking about a specific size and color of the Alexa which was relaunched for Mulberry's 10th anniversary. The specific bag I wanted was out of stock, but Donna offered to reach out if the store got in another one. She followed through and contacted me to give me first dibs since I was the first to inquire in store. Although I ultimately changed my mind about the bag and opted not to get it, I'm still super appreciative - you don't find service like that very often nowadays! This is the ONLY Mulberry shop in California. There used to be one in downtown San Francisco, but it closed a few years ago. And apparently they've been wanting to open one in Los Angeles (Rodeo Drive), but there's never any space available. The other closest location is probably one in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. I'm not a big luxury bags person; I don't splurge on them often (if at all), and I especially am not fond of the fancy bags with repetitive logos plastered all across the body...there are many that I can list and to me, they can easily be tacky haha However, I do still enjoy checking out different bags, feeling them, the different shapes and sizes, etc. and regardless, every girl needs bags... I've admired Mulberry for a long time now (although never made a purchase until recently - a smallish one); not sure how I found out about it, maybe online, but the designs and aesthetic immediately caught my attention. It's always felt cooler than its "relative" Burberry, and I like the subtle, sturdy classic/timeless designs. They're not flashy, but they look chic and sometimes even understated. You can wear the same pieces different ways. The colors are also gorgeous and the leather I gotta admit, luxurious. Many of the bags (like their iconic satchel) cost $1,000+ which I still cannot afford...maybe one day I'll save and splurge, but they're practical as far as luxury bags go and are sure to last a long time. I've seen people use a Mulberry as their only bag. I was amazed though that the last time I was here, there was a sale going on! The worker said it only happens twice a year, and is not online. There aren't even any signs at the shop. But wow, do I feel I got lucky with a super cute/small and versatile, burgundy cross-body for about $300! After some debate, I decided this was my chance and it was too good to pass up. I didn't expect to actually make a purchase, but glad I stepped in! Anyway, it's worth taking a look because the shop is not chaotic or crowded. You're free to just browse and feel things, take photos, ask questions, etc. And like the others have said, I also wasn't dressed up (I was wearing Birkenstocks and shorts), but still received lovely service (which I'd only hope would be the case everywhere). read more

I've visited the store four or five times now, and never left empty handed. I've discovered Mulberry way back 2012, while on vacation in Singapore. I remembered feeling the soft natural leather on one of their bags, and so began my Mulberry journey. But back then, I was a tourist on a budget and walked away with just a wallet in tow (that I still own to this day.) Fast forward, 2013-2014 and I discovered the Mulberry branch in Las Vegas and Cabazon. And come 2016, while walking at Valley Fair Mall - I've stumbled into their Santa Clara flagship. I've been to this store, quite a few times now and the customer service has always been top notch. First time I walked in, was on a hot summer day wearing just shorts and tees. And although under dress for their luxurious image, the Sales Associate were so handy and polite. Gladly showing me their current men's collection, to a blimpy nonchalant guy in flip flops. Yesterday, I was back at their store (again) to pick up my online order. And to date, I only have nice words to say about Mulberry and the ladies working at their Santa Clara branch. I am greatly satisfied with the items I've bought over time - they're exquisitely well made, stylishly designed and lavishly beautiful. I became a Mulberry fan after walking into one of their shops in London. It is a shoppers dream come true that they now have locations in SF and SJ (Valley Fair Mall)! Their products are well made and classy, and I love that their logo isn't so loud/gaudy like some of the other designers out there. A special thank you to Tracy Chow, who is a wonderful and knowledgable sales associate. She made me feel welcome and not pressured to buy something, but really wanted to help me find what I wanted within my price range. I've been wanting to splurge on a really nice travel/carry on bag for a while now. My sister has their Alexa bag and I appreciate the discreet luxury feel of the brand so I thought I'd check them out. I stepped in to see what they had and I am so happy I did. I typically dress like crap while shopping (on this particular day I might have been ingym clothes) so I've unfortunately gotten used to being ignored at Mulberry's neighboring stores in Valley Faire like Prada and Louis Vuitton. Mulberry's customer service by contrast is truly exceptional! The sales associates are warm, friendly and absolutely happy to help in any way. They showed me the bags they had out on display and brought out a few more options. I instantly fell in love with their Piccadilly bag. It is a beautiful, incredibly well made and practical bag! It's the perfect travel bag. Irma, the woman helping me, was absolutely patient with me as I compared this bag to the other options. I was running late for something so I decided to hold off on buying it and think about it for a little bit. I came back the next day and bought it! Mulberry offers exceptional customer service that other luxury goods stores should emulate. KJ, the manager of the store, and a sales associate whose name I didn't get unfortunately, were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was looking for a mini crossbody bag and they were so patient, kind, and offered helpful advice as I was trying to choose which leather color I wanted in the same style. Unlike some other luxury stores (LV, ahem, and the SF Hermes store), their customer service was excellent -- immediately approachable, genuinely friendly, with no pressure to buy. I noticed that they acknowledged each customer that came in and offered the same friendly service to everyone. They also offered waters to my husband and me and also gave me Lunar New Year envelopes after I purchased as we visited the store during the holiday. Unfortunately, I ended up returning the bag I purchased and thought the customer service wouldn't be as great when returning, since it usually isn't when one makes a return. I was so surprised -- and honestly felt so guilty returning -- when the customer service was just as amazing as when I purchased. KJ processed the return and she was just as friendly as before, asking if I wanted to keep the Lunar New Year envelopes, offering me water even when I was making a return, and telling me I could always text her with any questions I might have about Mulberry. THIS is the type of customer service that all luxury goods stores should offer their customers. Thank you Mulberry for offering wonderful service, and thank you KJ. I am used to receiving spectacular services at luxury stores however when you are treated with love and care, you simply feel special. This was my experience at Mulberry in Valley Fair mall in Santa Clara. I was advised with a dear friend to check out Mulberry for new year's shopping and I finally made it to the store. In Mulberry I was helped with a young, beautiful, and charming lady that introduced herself as Somi. She was very knowledgeable about art, design and fashion. I need to admit that I am very picky when it comes to buying bags and shoes and she nearly introduced the entire collection of bags to me with their features and how would they fit me, and throughout she was very patient, cheerful and inspiring. I am so glad that I took the advise and checked out Mulberry. I really recommend them to all of you ladies and gents out there with special taste and preferences. The customer service here is exceptional. Every single time one walks into this particular location, one will be greeted with warm and friendly SA's, who quite literally treat their clientele as kings and queens for a day. The products are also very functional, high quality pieces. Louis Vuitton just two doors down now have serious competition with Mulberry's friendly staff and products. I've been DYING for this location to open, as I would always have to make a trip to the city (SF) where parking is minimal and traffic just SUCKS. Poppy has helped me with products purchased here and this Mulberry location has officially won me over! Poppy is very knowledgable of all products and suggests things that you are looking for for functionality-I love how SA's here do not sell items you really do not need. Very practical.
