I really like Mulberry Street. In an area where there's no shortage of really good pizza joints, this spot will not disappoint. Some of my favorite slices are the upside down slice and the marinara slice. Their sauce is a little on the sweet side, which I prefer, and the staff is always fast and friendly. Their calzones and specialty slices are very good as well. They have plenty of booths inside and I've never had a problem finding a seat. read more

I brought my daughter out for lunch and she just wanted pizza. So we came to this place that is actually just right outside of our community. I ordered linguini with clam source and of coz pizza, just plain cheese pizza, for my daughter. Food is good and service is good. They even brought my daughter free dessert that she loved. Tried most of their speciality pizza slices, and i'd have to say their grandma pizza never disappoints. Crispy, saucy; they put an immediate smile when you're eating. I placed an order for pick up on Friday 7:30pm. The store was super busy, but I see the young girl cashier handling cash exchange with customers and then use her hand ( with no gloves) and grabbed the buns and put in a paper bag for another customer. I threw away the bread when I got home. For now, not many restaurant still open so really appreciate Mulburry St still serving the community. This pizza place is good, however I must say that their delivery service needs much improvement. I attempted to order from this restaurant and it took them almost 2 hours to deliver a pizza pie. I literally live less than a half a mile from this place, we received several text messages saying that our order was on the way and I had to call twice to find out the status of my order. The restaurant stated that they had car/deliver troubles/issues with the order which delayed the order. I understand the issues that may occur with deliveries, but from the customer's point of view, this is irrelevant since the customer had to wait almost 2 hours. In my opinion, I would suggest that the restaurant understand the customer and if possible offer something for the delay or even consider having the order free of charge. This would have been my approach if I was the restaurant owner. This didn't happen and in the end the attitude and unprofessional-ism just lost themselves a customer. Is it really worth $25 to the restaurant to take this approach? Being in a field associated with impeccable customer service, I don't agree with Vinnie's Mulberry Street Pizza'a approach and they didn't just lose $25 for this delivery but they lost further business from a customer. Also, just to be clear, when I first called, they did not mention anything about delivery issues or car breakdowns. If I could, I wouldn't of given this establishment zero stars. read more

Gave it another try. If you like cold pizza go for it. When he handed me the pie I told him I didn't think it was hot but he insisted and place was too busy to stand around and argue so I left. COVID19 is flowing through the area and most businesses are doing curbside pickup. I called mulberry, asked if they'd do a curbside pickup. They said sure. I told them I wanted 3 slices. They told me for 3 slices, I should just come in and not do curbside. I guess I'm such a small customer they thought it's too much for them. I placed an order for delivery for lunch . The phone skills could be improved by being more welcoming, but my order was taken nonetheless, and pretty quickly. My wait time was estimated at 30-45 minutes. I waited an hour and twenty minutes. When I called an hour late to check on my food, they were very apologetic and blamed it on a traffic accident. When my food came, it was piping hot, fresh, and delicious. The penne pasta with meat sauce costs $9.95 and could serve 2-3 coworkers easily. The mozzarella sticks as a side taste like freezer-section generic brand. Besides the long wait time and rubbery mozzarella sticks, their pasta is excellent. And if you split with friends, it's quite the steal. I'll order again from there, so four stars from me because their positives outweigh their negatives. read more
