Hard to ring bell for service, guy came out quick. Ordered three banana splits and three ice cream cones. Service took while to make the banana splits but they were so good and a good size. The restaurant was really roomy and the food looked so good. Definitely would go again and try out the food next time!

The portions are big Great to come at happy hour to catch deals There are a lot of different drink options they have fountain drinks as well as some canned drinks and the bar for adult beverages. Like I mentioned in a previous review the floor plan is pretty open spaced, there is food graffiti on the walls they have TVs to watch the games. The service is awesome. It's a fairly new place it's not really busy when we come but I recommend you check this place out!

Pretty good food I wouldn't say amazing. They definitely have unique options that go with the theme of munchies haha. Like fried Oreos and a fried Smucker pb&J. Both of which were pretty good, super sweet and not fried enough in my opinion. The Dragon noodles were actually pretty yummy, they gave a huuuuggeeee portion of noodles, a little bit of vegetables and protein. But the sauce was good and it was spicy which I loved. Service was chill, and the inside was so spacious it was a little weird how big it was haha. Like it didn't fit the style I guess. There were a lot of cool art designs on the wall, all including food of course. Overall it was a cool place but not something I am craving again.

The food was better than I expected. I really liked the Thai combo noodles. While, the combo fried rice was pretty tasty also. The jalapeño poppers weren't frozen, so it's always good to see fresh food! It's a nice small place that I'll definitely return to. The menu is big, so I'll probably be back to watch a football game.

Quick food at a restaurant price. Ordered the mixed noodles and a Tri-tip quesadilla. Both were really good - noodles a bit better. Good quantity in both - both could have easily been two meals. Took about 20 minutes to make so I had a local craft beer while I waited. I was the only order in so would expect a longer wait if busy. Cost was about $45, not cheap for a quick meal. Good restaurant a ways off the beaten path, though worth the trip.

All ingredients for a very fresh, Service is friendly. My one complaint is that I felt the meats were a bit overcooked. The chicken was a bit tough, and the salmon was a bit dry. Will certainly return and try their burgers and fries.

Sadly, Munchies is declining. The last 3 times the shrimp on the taco has been way overcooked. And now, they have lost their liquor license. However, they do have ice cream instead. The problem is they let the children of the owner or an employee dip into the ice cream at will, using the same spoon the are eating off, and then expect customers to want a scoop of ice cream. Nope! After seeing that, we went to the market to buy ice cream. The pictures I have posted were from the days when they were still good.

This is our second time eating here. I have worked in the food industry for years and I know when you're slow, you do your side work to get ahead of the game so you can get out early or on time. But never and I mean never do you mop the floors with a strong smelling cleaner while still open. That's all I could smell and taste the whole time I was there. It was my birthday and I didn't get to enjoy my food because of the smell. Every bite of my chicken Alfredo tasted like pinesol. Hubby got his quesadilla and was pleased with it. All I can say about my meal is the chicken was tuff and dry and not enough sauce with the couple bites I had. I ate my meal the next day and again it was very dry but it didn't taste like pinesol. I

The restaurant is extremely clean and the food tastes pretty darn good. My wife really enjoyed the chicken alfrado and I liked their chicken tacos. We will be checking out their other menu items down the road.

Now that's a GD burger!! I had the East Side Boogie with upgraded chili cheese fries and let me tell you... ...this was too much burger but in all the right ways haha I was stuffed but boy was I happy Again the burger was huge, thick bacon, get extra sauce to make it perfect. Onions were amazing and flavorful and the bun held up til the last bite. Chili cheese fries were out of this world...amazing chili and the cheese and was not only a plethora on top but a hidden cheese skirt awaits you on the bottom Photos don't do it justice, stop thinking, this is your sign, get this place now! Pb and J Smuckers was good but you only get one for $5 Also a fun drive to get there from the beach areas. Also they were super nice and called when my order was ready, great and friendly service.

First time getting food from here ordered late night for pick up and the staff was so friendly! Loved the actually dining area for eat in option lots of cool art in there. We payed about 50$ and the food is good for the late munchiez! You can get a little of anything which is cool but you can tell the recipes are quick made, that being said I definitely want to come back and try different items.

Mac and cheese balls: Very disappointing. There was no macaroni in them, only cheese! Pismo pesto panini: completely bland because there was no seasoning. The onions were supposed to be grilled but did not taste good. The pesto was subpar. Shrimp teriyaki bowl: It was okay, but the dish was just underwhelming. Overall, the prices were too much for the food. I would not recommend!! read more

My husband and I went to this restaurant around 9:30 pm it was lonely but I figured it was already late. We had a burger and chicken & shrimp basket.. The food was delicious the only thing was that they forgot my shrimp but it's ok since I still got the shrimp. I would really recommend this place. read more

As a part-time resident on the Mesa, I was excited to see this location re-open with what sounded like a cool place. We went in for lunch on a Monday before heading home in the Valley and we were mostly disappointed. The menu is an eclectic mix of burger joint, Tex Mex, and Asian. Also, not sure if they are a restaurant or fast food place. The person working the counter was friendly and doing his best but definitely needed some help. I had the Louisiana Hot Dogs. Sounded great but needed more than just the mayo they come with and the condiments are provided in the plastic packets...an annoyance for me...but the they were tasty enough, just not exciting like they sounded. My wife had a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. It was not served hot and did not taste fresh...not worth anywhere near $15. We will try again...hoping our experience was due to an off day which anyone can have. read more

Wouldn't eat here. It's mostly frozen and pre packaged foods that don't taste good. Ordered the Mac n cheese bites, chili dogs and combo quesadilla. Our first visit to the new establishment. Employee was friendly and promptly took our order for a Chicken Teriyaki bowl and Chicken Pesto sandwich. CT bowl - I deleted the Macaroni salad. Chicken was breast meat and dry, rice was undercooked and or not kept moist. Pass. CP sandwich - Just didn't work as the onions didn't pair well and there was too little pesto sauce. Pass. read more

This place is going to be a big hit once everyone discovers it! We have been waiting for something to go into the old Tanner Jack restaurant. I have to say the space has a very nice vibe, TV are playing Sports, the staff is very helpful , the menu is very diverse, I'm sure everyone can find something to eat and enjoy! I wanted to give Munchiez 5 stars. Once they open their bar they will earn their 5 star. Beer and Wine. Its not fancy just fun! read more

We went on a weekday for dinner and ordered the chicken quesadilla and chicken teriyaki. Both came out really fast and piping hot! Huge plates, we ended up finishing both over the next few days after. The building seems a little empty right now but this place is still really new to the location. Just tried Munchiez 805 for the first time today. Very clean, bright and airy. We all had something different. A Burger/Onion Rings, Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and Fries and a Chicken/Shimp combo with Onion Rings. Service was excellent and the food was super fast to the table, hot and very good. Large portions! Happy to see a new local eatery in the long closed building that was once Tanner Jacks. Sounds like they will be opening the bar soon too :) The menu is quite large (in items available, the actual menu is on 3 rather small TV screens placed up high so a bit hard to read :) Can't wait to try more items from the menu! read more

Was worried to try this place out because of the negative reviews but I decided to anyway and I am so glad I did! The portions are INSANELY huge. Feeds 2/3 people each dish. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, chilli cheese fries and the Mac n cheese balls. They threw in some fried oreos which were delish but you can only really eat 1 max and finally the fish tacos. Wow the fish tacos were amazing- they told me they hand dip them and they are made fresh to order. They were amazing. Kids loved the Mac n cheese balls, the chicken teriyaki was great value but the chicken was a tad on the dry side. Looking forward to trying more things! The dishes are priced great because they're made for sharing. Just be aware if you're ordering for yourself- it will be too much for just one person. read more

First time here inside looks great and menu has many options for everyone. Beer selection was great, lots is local brews on tap. We ordered animal style fries to check out and they did not disappoint. The cheese, sauce and grilled onions were plentiful. The only complaint would be crisper fries because on the bottom they got soggy. We will definitely be back to try some of the many food options on the menu. read more

We stopped in with 2 other family members for lunch after church. It's the second time we've eaten lunch there and probably the last. What was good; friendly service, menu options for adults, and cleanliness were all good in the dining area. The not so good: food is brought out and served when ready, and the planning is poor. It was around 10 minutes between the time our first entree was brought out and our last one arrived. I had nearly finished eating by the time my grandson got his meal. There were no condiments out. No ice in the beverage service machine, no hand towels in the bathroom, and only 1 person working to take orders, serve food, and try to catch up on stocking everything they were out of. Also, there's nothing on the menu for kids unless you want to buy a full sized meal for a 6 year old (which we ended up doing and he ate about 8 French fries total for $16). It's apparent they're lacking good leadership as whoever closed the day before did not set up for the the next day, leaving everything empty/out of stock. They told us they had a large party the night before but regardless of what business you are in, it's always an expectation that you set up for the next day/shift as you close out your own shift. Otherwise, the next shift suffers from productivity loss and customer dissatisfaction. Overall, the food was OK but not outstanding. Definitely not good enough to go through another meal of asking for every single thing you need because nothing is set out and waiting around as food is brought out 1 meal at a time over a 5 or 10 minute period. read more

So happy Munchiez has opened. A group of us went there after a bocce match. 16 of us. I called and they had a table reserved for us as requested. Carlos was the manager on duty, and he was quick, helpful and professional. All staff members were great. The menu is varied, everything from burgers to teriyaki bowls. We tried a variety of items and everyone was impressed. Beer list is also great, but wine is not their forte. I asked about corkage and they didn't know what it is. Hey, they just opened, so they will learn. The place is like brand new in and out. Very clean. Nice addition to the Mesa! read more

Yesterday's order was to go...we always ate "in" at the SLO location (just a "nicer ambiance") but always "take out" from Pismo (not thrilled with the fact that there is an added "take out fee" for this on your bill). Jaxon was our Order/Cashier associate on this occasion. He was personable in service and knowledgeable with regard to menu offerings. The restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected at 7PM but it took "a bit" to get the order out. Nevertheless..it was "on the money accurate" (exactly what we ordered/wanted) and that in my opinion...is worth waiting for. Our order : 2X Black and Blue Salads (4/5...yummy) and a Crispy Chicken Combo with Tater Tots (5/5...delicious). I had a "Combo Coupon" ($10 Combo instead of regular price), but still the bill was basically $43 dollars. Somewhat of a "value factor" because with a salad each, we were able to share the Crispy Chicken and were completely satisfied with our meal. Dallas (Owner) was already gone for the day, so we missed saying "hi". In this Yelper's opinion...on this "take-out" occasion because the food is still really "bussin", Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach truly earned this 4 Star review.

I enjoyed a quarter of it, but too full, so worked out perfect since kid didn't want to share more either, lol. Salmon salad was perfect! Pan seared on both side for that wonderful crust yet tender goodness. Salad dressing with cherry and almond slices made this salad so enjoyable while staying lighter. I also liked their selection of mocktails; the pink pony club was a particular standout. Also, for a place called "The gril", you would think that the vegetables WOULD actually be grilled, but no, they were not. The rice was dry, and the beans had no flavor. I literally could not eat it and left half of it there. My server felt so bad she insisted on not taking a tip. So because of this crappy company, my server did not get a tip. I would have insisted, but I didn't have cash, and she would not allow me to add a tip to my card charge because she knew I waited 45 minutes for a fu*king vegetable taco ‍ Honestly, I think they screwed up and forgot, because there's no way it should have taken that long, and she knew that....she kind of flinched and grimaced, and she said "I'm sorry, I think they got backed up" and kind of rolled her eyes as if to say, I think they fu*ked up, she even said quietly to me "I think maybe they forgot". This was for the live music event on Friday, 6/19 at Claiborne & Churchill. The music was great, The servers/ wine stewards were amazing, but the food was horrible. At least my taco was. if I ever see La Parilla serving food again anywhere I am, I will not order anything! BLECH. Oh, also I asked for no onions, and they couldn't even get that right. In one of my pictures, you will see onions that I pulled aside on the plate. I could have pulled aside more, but I was wolfing down what I could after waiting 45 miinutes for a frigging shit*y vegetarian taco that was crap when I got finally got it. NOT worth the wait. No cheese, no sour cream, no guacamole....just dry rice, flavorless beans, and a few pieces of bell pepper, plus onions - which I asked to NOT HAVE. What a pathetic, underflavored, overpriced taco. Munchiez 805 is a hidden gem! I stumbled on Munchiez 805 late one night and honestly, it's exactly what the name promises--perfect for satisfying late-night cravings. The vibes are chill, the food comes out fast, and it hits hard. I tried their teriyaki chicken fries and the tri tip panini and both were packed with flavor. You can tell they don't skimp on portions either. Everything was fresh, cheesy, and just the right kind of messy. This place is delish! My husband said it was the best burger he's had in a loooong time (he's pretty picky with quality of meat). I love that the menu has a large variety, I love options! In turn it made it hard to decide since everything looked so good so we are definitely coming back to try new things. This place is very family friendly, which we really like. I had the pleasure of eating at Munchiez and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The ambiance was inviting, perfect for a evening out. The food was PERFECT, I love the Buffalo chicken fries - every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The menu offers a great variety of large portioned meals and for a good price.
