I should have known I was in trouble when the meal arrived on an old train car, because this dinner was a full-blown derailment. I ordered the beef ribs with mashed potatoes and gravy, chili, and bread. The ribs had less flavor than the menu and were mostly fat and gristle. I spent more time excavating edible meat than actually eating it. The mashed potatoes were so chunky they could have qualified as landscaping material, and the gravy had the consistency of train-car axle grease. As for the chili, I'm about 99% sure it was straight out of a can of Dennison's. If you're going to serve canned chili, at least don't make it obvious. By the end of the meal, I felt like I'd paid for a first-class ticket and ended up riding in the baggage car. Save yourself the fare and steer clear of this train wreck. In response to Mario. Thank you for proving to everyone reading the reviews that I wasn't the problem. I criticized the food. You attacked the customer. Reviews help people decide where to spend their money. Your response probably helped more people than my review ever could.

Cool concept and decor- we sat out back with the doggo but we're never forgotten- attentive service, refills without asking on coffee and water. Food was plentiful and delicious- chorizo omelette had plenty of meat , avocado, cheese and sour cream, cinnamon roll from local bakery was warm and tasty.

We had a fun weekend lunch here. The ambiance is great! The servers were pretty busy. The spanakopita was okay and felt reheated and not crispy, but the breakfast choices I saw coming out looked better. It's a fun place to come for the experience!

I don't normally give 5 stars but this place was amazing! It's very cute and unique as the restaurant is from a train. The servers were very attentive and the food is delicious. We got the corned beef hash and the beef rib. Would definitely stop by again whenever passing through.

Cool vibe inside - retro and fun. Nice, friendly service. Food was fresh and good ! Salsa wash fresh and breakfast burrito was not greasy totally fresh and delicious! We met the owner on the way out and my husband congratulated him on how nice the experience was for us. We will be back !!!

Was back in my hometown for my besties wedding & decided to catch lunch together at a place with a really trendy aesthetic. We happened to be served by one of the owners and she brought us a truly incredible on the house dessert to celebrate. The menu has so many interesting options that more or less covers the local cultures cuisine and the signature drinks are super fun.

I've driven past this establishment a few times and made it a point to return, so I did. Arriving at noon on a Saturday was dicey but to my surprise it wasn't busy...yet, being seated was a snap and coffee was soon at my table along with two different menus one for food and the other for drinks. Once more I find myself at the coast and a desire of seafood came over me much like a wave on a sandy beach, with my bifocal sunglasses on (sigh) I navigated the menu and settled in on a crab melt with a side of fries and a cup of clam chowder. The first wave of food came in the form of the ever popular cup of chowder and I must say they didn't scrimp on the clams, with a few oyster crackers sprinkled on top I soon began my journey through the sea to the island of Yum. The voyage with filled with beautiful scenery as I was finishing my creamy cup-o-chowder the server delivered the crab melt that I was anticipating while enjoying every spoonful of chowder, with a side of ranch dressing and a squirt of ketchup I paddled through a few French fries before tackling the melt and as a lover of garlic the first bite was as if I found a treasure of flavor. By now the restaurant was filling up with new passengers and it seemed my timing was perfect and my voyage was about to end I must say the experience was worth the travel from Fresno and the drive back was a bit more pleasant with the memories of an excursion to an iconic restaurant on the coast

On the way to another place and saw this cute diner. We were greeted nicely and our waitress was friendly. Ordered shrimp and chips. Replaced fries for a salad. Shrimp had too much breading and were small in size. Almost bay shrimp size. Also ordered clam chowder in bread bowl. Bowl was smaller than a typical bread bowl. They also butter the top. The clam chowder was average at best. The buttered top was tasty but caused indigestion for the next few hours. $40 for the above, 2 waters and a cup of soup. Seems okay for price although really only one entree and no drinks. Glad to have checked it out but won't return. If you go order the Greek food. Advise from a local after-the-fact

We both ordered the seafood platter for lunch, and chose the soup as the side (one clam chowder, one chicken tortilla). While the wait staff was very good and the wait time was typical for noontime, once the food arrived, the quality of the meal was quite substandard, especially for this area. I have never had such gristly fish, ever. I had to work hard to cut through it with a typical butter knife. It had no flavor and was unpleasant to chew. There was no flakiness to any of the four pieces. The shrimp was good, but I assume it was frozen. The cocktail sauce and the tartar sauce were both delicious, but it just wasn't enough to mask the texture of the fish. I then tried the chicken tortilla soup since the waiter recommended it. Instead of chicken meat, it has chicken skin. Gross. I will say the clam chowder was very good, and I regretted not ordering it. I'm sorry to say we won't be back unless just for a cup of chowder and a beer.

The server offered up some of their homemade green salsa from the back, which packed a major punch (and I say this as a spicy-seeker). Overall, the name of this dish was 100% spot on as it was messy as hell. It was a super generous serving and definitely covered two meals for me, which was impressive. It also came with a choice of more-different-carb, so I opted for a biscuit. It was surprisingly crispy on the outside and made for a nice contrast-y dessert bite when topped with their homemade jam. I recommend checking the spot out, and try to nab a seat outside.
