Came here for a vanilla raspado and it did no disappoint. The location has ample parking, some seating indoors, and service was fast. Their menu has a little bit of everything - this of this place like La Michoacana. The raspado was a little less than $7 for a decent size. Staff was nice and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. This will be my new go to spot when I have these cravings.

5566 Monterey Rd San Jose, CA 95138 ( Monterey Plaza Shopping Center) Munchiiez is cute little shop that offers a variety of snacks, drinks, and ice cream. It's located next door to SpeeDee Oil Change. It has several tables inside, and some smaller tables outside. The place has a lively colorful decor. I was there at around 5pm, and was immediately greeted as I walked in. I showed an interest in the ice cream counter, and was quickly offered samples. The nice lady told me about each flavor. While i was trying to decide what to get, she also offered me samples of the fresca drinks. I decided to get 3 scoops in a cup: - Mango Sorbet - Strawberry Sorbet - Chocolate Mexican Ice Cream Price $8.50 The sorbet is delicious! The mango sorbet tastes exactly like biting into a fresh piece of mango. The strawberry sorbet is the same. All you taste is the fruit. The chocolate ice cream has a mild flavor, with a fine grainy texture. Would I return? Yes! Quality, fair prices, and great customer service. Free Parking. Monterey Plaza is located near the Hwy 101 x Blossom Hill junction, along Monterey Road.

Randomly found this local gem after gymming . Owner of the restaurant greeted us and gave us samples of the refreshers and ice cream flavors without us even asking . She's super friendly and generous . ALL the samples we tried were very yummy and tasty! Super cute dessert spot and definitely worth checking out. My husband and I came for the first time and had a really good experience overall. The place itself is clean, a bit small but not cramped, and they have a lot of options to choose from. The service was honestly phenomenal. The staff was very friendly, gave us samples, and helped us decide what to order since it was our first time. We tried the fresas con crema and it was really good. The cream they use tastes more homemade and is thicker and richer than the more liquid whipped cream you get at other places. You'll either love that or not depending on your preference, but I personally thought it was delicious. The strawberries tasted fresh, but they were cut pretty big. I think smaller pieces would have worked better with this dish. The mini pancakes were also very good, about an 8/10 for me. They were flavorful and the fruit was yummy, but I wish there were more strawberries and whipped cream. The mango drink was a 9/10. It was super flavorful and refreshing, and the real mango on top made it even better. The only thing is I couldn't really taste the coconut. My husband could taste it more than I did and liked the mix overall. Overall, everything tasted great and we had a really nice time. If I can give them 10 stars I would. I ordered esquites with hot Cheetos, a mango smoothie and some mini pancakes(not shown). The mango smoothie alone will have me coming back. The esquites is *chefs kiss*. The staff alone were so accommodating and so kind. This is my def new go to place.

What a random find! While waiting for an oil change, went in to this place to check them out. Their menu on the screen didn't have much of an explanation of what the ingredients are but once you get to the counter, there's a menu that breaks it down. Lots of options but here's what we ordered: avocado toast, avocado almond smoothie, spinach twist smoothie, and mini pancakes. Avocado toast - bread could've been more toasty but they do not disappoint with the amount of avocado added on! Presentation could've been better but considering I asked for it on top of the toast vs the side. It was also a little too much everything but bagel seasoning for my preference but overall I give this a 4 Avocado Almond smoothie - so good!!!!! Avocado is fresh and the bits and pieces of Almonds thick and scrumptious! A definite 5 Spinach twist smoothie - so fresh and so clean! You can just tell from the first sip it's a 4.5 Mini pancakes - so tasty and just the right amount of sweetness! Fun and cute to eat, will definitely request for more whipped cream next time. Pineapples and strawberries were fresh and sweet. I give this a 3.5 In conclusion, I would most definitely come back! Met who I assume is the owner; she's very kind and welcoming! We did wait a long time for my avocado toast to finish as they realized they didn't have any eggs ready but even overall just waiting for it to be done took a while so if you're in a rush, KEEP THIS IN MIND! If you're reading this, yes! Go and give them a try! I'm glad I did

Came here needed a juice pick me up. Ended up ordering more because the nice staff let me try the other juices. I saw they had a lot of options from juices to smoothies and plenty of dessert options. I came back later with my family for dessert and my toddler loved trying the different ice cream. There was a table for us the eat there but it's definitely not for bigger groups. It looks like they rotate different ice cream and have seasonal specials so we're definitely gonna try more things later.

Food/drink: 10/10 I've been intrigued to get a mangonada at the new spot in town. My friend and I got two mangonadas and nachos with salsa verde chips. They asked us if we wanted more cheese sauce for our nachos or not and if we like jalapeños. The mangonada was really good. I liked that there were mango slices throughout the drink and mango ice cream on the top and bottom. I liked that the mangonada wasn't too overpowered by the chamoy and tasted well balanced. The nachos were good and plentiful too! We got agua fresca samples too! The agua frescas had a nice texture to it so you know that it's fresh! Our favorite sample was the cucumber one. We also got torta samples before we left. Their items here are decently priced and they have you a lot whether it's a drink or food. Ambience: 10/10 You are greeted when you enter and they give you a menu but they also have screen menus too. They kept giving us samples too! Plenty of parking in this plaza and they have AC here too. My friend and I felt very welcomed here like we were a friend or family during our hangout. They have several tables here too. Highly recommend this spot on a hot summer day!:) I want to try the mangonada with strawberry ice cream next time!

I came here a couple times. There Mexican popsicles are amazing! The torta was very flavorful. The crepe was all right but iCrave In Santa Cruz has the best crepes. Definitely pass on the pink Mexican candy she said it was a viral Mexican candy but I thought it was disgusting I took a bite spit it out and threw it away huge waste of money.

I'd get the same two items for lunch from this business often because it was located near my job. One specific employee asked me to show my phone screen each visit to confirm I had picked up my order in person. After doing this a couple of times, I politely asked not to show my phone anymore, since I had already verbally confirmed my order and my phone is personal property. After this, I felt unwelcomed, and on a previous occasion, I was mistakenly called a student--though nothing about me suggested I was one, as I was clearly on a lunch break from work. Once, after declining to show my phone but confirming that I picked up my order, I decided not to take the food and left it at the location. Unfortunately, being asked to show my phone each time felt unnecessary. I wondered if all customers were questioned in the same way.... Doordash refunded me, though the business seemed unaware of their own refund policy. I spent about $80 over a couple of months at this business and even had my boyfriend come to support the business as well. I would have continued supporting the business if I felt welcomed and respected as a consistent paying customer.

This place is AMAZING!!!!! The owner was very friendly and took her time explaining everything to us. They have so many yummy items to choose from and they're very inexpensive! Munchiezz has always been my go to for sandwiches and healthy juices, but unfortunately, today I had one of the worst and most humiliating experiences there. While I was simply enjoying their food and showing support, the owner approached me and accused me and my family, who run another local Mexican snack bar spot of copying their menu. I was shocked and deeply disappointed, especially because I'm only 15 years old and she chose to confront me directly instead of respectfully addressing any concerns with an adult. I left feeling hurt and traumatized by the way I was treated. read more

The service is five star all the way. We got a concha ice cream sandwich with banana and blueberries, fudge and caramel. It was delicious! We also got a elote tamale which was, CHEFS KISS. After my first bite of each. I wished I bought two of each instead of one of each to share. The inside is very cute with beautiful paintings and it feels very clean inside. It has a cafe feeling to it where it feels like a place you could satisfy all your munchiez and have a great conversation. So glad this is in our little blossoming neighborhood. read more

I got the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. It was $15 and the cup was pretty big so the price wasn't bad. I think they use homemade pistachio cream because it was lacking flavor, it oddly tasted like coconut to me? The katafi wasn't toasted enough so there wasn't any crunch so I thought it was coconut flakes at first. Overall needs a better pistachio flavor and more chocolate. I also think they put condensed milk in it which is not in your traditional Dubai cups. read more

Came in here by chance since I live in the neighborhood! We ordered the Hearty and the Shine and it was super amazing!!! We always dislike when we order from some places and it's always super artificial tasting or there's a ton of sugar added. These drinks actually tasted what they were listed as, but the workers (and the owner?) were very vocal about if we wanted to customize anything for sweetness or diff things to substitute! Def recommend this place for any healthy juice lovers, excited to try the elotes later :). Prices are on par with what healthy juices go for tbh so find that great too!! read more

Found this hidden gem in Monterey Rd. Their snacks and drinks are amazing. We love the mazapan coffee latte, fruit bowls with yogurt and granolas and panini with ham and cheese. Felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. A nice feeling! The inside was so clean and everything looks fresh. They have a menu you can sit and look at or you can sample the ice cream. Lactose intolerant? Don't worry,they have water based ice cream and popsicles. I had a strawberry banana and oatmilk smoothie with water based strawberry (water based) ice cream. So so so good. Not too sweet. very nice people, i came in the other day for there new dubai cups. They were okay, the pistachio cream needs to be a thicker consistency. It was pretty watery and the chocolate also, just feel like they need to change it to more creamier and thick consistency also that it tastes like pistachios and chocolate it was missing the flavor, and add more kataifi. This wont make me give them a zero star, there other items are amazing. read more

Me and my boyfriend went here to get some snacks because we both grew up with Mexican families and love all their food but we are both very white lol. We waited in line for at least 10 mins, the main lady walked up to us look at us and then went to help the Mexican family behind in line BEHIND us. Not sure what the problem was but me and my boyfriend just left because it was annoying. So have not tried the food, the service is absolutely terrible and the ambiance now is just gross. This is my third time at Marco Polo and it really hit the spot. The location is in Vietnam Town, on the far right side, next to Pho 90. Parking here can get tough because of the plaza itself so just a heads up to folks who do not frequent the area. What makes Marco Polo so special is their Asian gelato flavors that you cannot really get anywhere else (that to say a lot of places are now expanding their selections). This was the first spot where I could finally get my hands on durian gelato and it was absolutely delicious. The store itself has around 3 tables for you to sit in and is pretty bare boned. It is good for a grab and go but with the limited seating inside and outside you could spend some time here. Service is quick and you are able to try out some samples. This time around I ordered black sesame and Pandan, while my partner got mango and lychee. It was near close so they ran out of mangosteen unfortunately when I went. While the flavors were great, stood out, and were bold, I will say texturally it was a bit icey for my liking but that might have been because they started crystallizing from being out for a while. Overall, this is a small business I will continue to support!

I recently visited Munchiiez Juice Bar and had an overall positive experience. The flavors of their juices are excellent--each one is fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. It's clear they use high-quality ingredients, which makes the slightly higher prices feel justified and fair compared to market standards. However, there are a few areas that could use some improvement. The organization of the store could be better. Speaking of the staff, they were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit pleasant despite the organizational hiccups. Lastly, I noticed that the portion sizes could use some balancing. Some drinks felt a bit inconsistent in terms of the amount you get for the price. Aguas frescas are delicious and refreshing my favorite was raspberry lemonade.
