Munchy's is my go-to for a cheap, filling (and artery-clogging) meal. The storefront is cramped and usually crowded, but it's worth it for the food here. The Dealer's Choice menu is filled with a bunch of delicious "fat sandwiches" akin to those at Rutgers' grease trucks or CARS for a reasonable price. Their Mexican menu is also super cheap and filling. It's not authentic, but at a place like Munchy's, you shouldn't expect it to be. The guys working the counter are really friendly, and the overall atmosphere somehow manages to feel laid-back, even when the place is packed. The only thing I don't like about this spot is that they're not open late enough! All in all, this is a great place to stop in or order for a cheap lunch that'll leave you satisfied at the least, stuffed at most. read more

This place is pretty close to my job, so when we first found out they delivered, we were ecstatic to try a new place. We tried their burgers, their hot dogs. I personally tried their taco, enchiladas, onion rings, cheese steak and cheeseburger, and we have all felt that this was not even close to what it could be. That, as well as their 1-2 hour delivery time is freaking ridiculous. Rarely did the food come hot and the tacos not soggy due to being in the car for a long time. The one and only reason I do go back, this is the only reason I debated between a 1 star and a 2 star rating, is to get an order of curly fries. Even that isn't enough for me to go out of my way. Local gem!!!!! Went here for first time with a buddy got a 1.chicago off the specials menu and when I tell you you have to taste it to believe and even comprehend how good it is. It's a philie cheesesteak w pepper onions mushrooms French fries and gravy and is the BEST one I've ever had they have the proportions down to a science just the right amount of everything, and for $7 it's a steal I would def pay upwards of $15 for that sandwich out of heaven read more

I was in Totowa and was in search of a place that delivered breakfast so I did a quick Yelp search and Munchy's appeared on the radar screen. The reviews were decent so I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on wheat toast and coffee. In about 15 minutes, the delivery driver was there and the sandwich and coffee were still hot. No BSing around there. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because I wanted scrambled egg, not fried egg on my sandwich but still got fried even though it was written down on the handwritten receipt as scrambled. These people are so disgustingly rude. I ordered at 1:30 and food didn't get here until 4. When I kept calling to ask for updates, they kept saying "it'll be on the way soon" and didn't cancel my order as requested. Food was cold and mediocre serving of fries. I had the chicken burrito here and it was pretty bad. The chicken tasted dry and seemed like it had been sitting there for days. The cheese tasted very processed. The food was microwaved in front of us on a Styrofoam platter and heat melted into the food a bit. I will never try this place again and would recommend you save your money as well. read more

I'm normally not one to write reviews, good or bad, but, today I just had to. I've passed this place many times and have always been curious. I now finally work right around the corner, as in I could walk there in 10 minutes, so I decided to finally try it out. After putting my order in at 2:15pm, way after any lunch rush would be, I waited an hour and 15 minutes to pay $13 for a cold grilled chicken wrap (which was not terrible but not great) and cold, soggy curly fries. About 50 mins after I placed the order I called and asked how much longer it would be and I was told it was leaving the place then. Now like I said, I work right around the corner and don't see how it could take another 25 mins for it to get here. Once it finally arrive I was greeted by a teenager who was wearing sunglasses (even thought it was cloudy) and gave me the reason that they were really busy. Now, I've worked at numerous Pizza places while I was a teenager and I know how long certain things should take. Not once did the guy on the phone tell me they were busy or that it would be remotely close to this long of a wait. Finally, the price for the quality food I was served was crap. I do not mind paying money for food but, when it takes that long and tastes that shitty, it gets me angry. Overall, I wish the person answering the phone would have told me it would have been that long of a wait so I could avoided all of this and just gotten food elsewhere. We've been ordering Munchy's in Little Falls since we moved here about 6 months ago. The food is usually always awesome! Sometimes, with delivery, the tacos can get a little soggy. But honestly, you can expect that with tacos most of the time. We love ordering from here, the service and portions are awesome too! Prices are fair and decent. I love the curly fries, soft tacos, BLTs, hot dogs, burritos, and the regular fries too. read more

They have no idea about Mexican food. The burrito was beans out of a can poured into a raw tortilla thrown on a plate with some tamale sauce (?) dumped on top! DISGUSTING! Tossed it in trash. A nuked burrito at any local convenience store is orders of magnitude better. This place makes Taco Bell seem like a five star restaurant. Try "A Taco Affair" on Main Street, or for the real deal, try "Antojitos Poblanos" on Grand Street. read more

The cheeseburgers. The cheeseburgers are the thing here. Forget the fries (so so) and the sad NJ attempt at Mexican food (tasty food, but it has no close relation to Mexican food). The cheeseburgers, served on a crunchy roll (not some gooey wonder bread mush) and done medium (pink!!!) are among the best burgers I have had, right up there with Fuddrucker's, and surpassing Five Guys and In Out. Five Guys still has the best fries and dogs. But the burgers at Munchy's are worth the drive. The five stars are for the cheeseburgers. read more

Omg the sandwiches here are awesome. Mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, french fries and bacon stuffed inside the sandwich. The portions are good and theyve got lots of coupons/discounts. I've lived in the neighborhood for a year now, and Munchy's is my go to for breakfast and last minute dinners. This is my favorite spot fir breakfast sandwiches, and I really like their homefries. The guys behind the counter are always friendly. I went in here for the first time about a couple weeks ago and it was spectacular!! Everyone needs to go here to eat because just the comfort of the store really helps bring more love to the food. I ordered something light to start off my first day on my attendance sheet, popcorn shrimp with fries and a beef burrito to add with that, and the popcorn shrimp alone was just lovely to eat, flavorful, crunchy, and so much for the price, worth it!!! Now the beef burrito was just filled with flavor and just mouthful of delicious food with the big wrap of flour around the massive amount of tasteful seasoned beef surround by just a lava of sauce and cheese and it just brings the whole dish together, something i wish i can eat everyday! especially for the low prices. Cant wait to order the Dealer Choices tho, the pictures alone look WOnderful!!! read more

Ordered from grubhub. The delivery was fast and the food looked ok. However, upon biting into my chicken taco, I realized there was no flavor at all. Worst service ever. I ordered delivery and specified that I had never tried their food and I was looking forward to it. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger on a hard roll with no seeds. When I received my order there were seeds on my bun. I cannot have seed or nuts. I called and explained that my order was incorrect and could I have another bun without seeds. I was told that it would take another half an hour due to deliveries. After waiting 50 plus minutes I called back and was greeted by a rude male who wanted to know why I couldn't have seeds and would not sent me anything and to "get over it". After waiting for over an hour for delivery - the last thing you want to hear when you call to follow up is, "yeah it's on the way - the guy just left with all the deliveries". Another 35 minutes later the delivery finally arrived. Tacos were a soggy mess, wings may have been crispy but were flabby chicken from sitting for so long. Overall everything was cold- which is what I expected considering my order takes 5 to 10 minutes to cook and it had clearly been sitting for over an hour before it left for delivery. Quite honestly, if you can't get it together and offer good service - don't bother with delivery. World class attitude for low quality food. read more

It kills to write this review. I use to order from Early Birds (muchys old name) so often the owners knew my address. First time coming back home in a while and was craving it. I live 3 miles from the place, my food took an hour and 30 minutes to deliver. It was cold. Ordered a bacon double cheeseburger and it was a squished saggy patty on wet bread. Also didn't have bacon on it. They use to use the best rolls, now they use generic cheap rolls.. kills me. I LOVED this place but I'm extremely disappointed. read more

These sandwiches. I mean.....come on!!! Amazing! Usually get takeout from the Little Falls NJ location- never had a problem. The hot pastrami sandwich is just incredible.
