The place looks small from the outside, but it's actually much bigger inside, with plenty of seating available. We were pleasantly surprised! Cute little old school diner/breakfast spot in the heart of downtown Little Falls. I had an omelette with cheese, peppers, and mushrooms. The omelette came with a side of toast and a cup of soup. This is SUCH a cute place! At first when we walked in I thought it was a small, but there are tons of booths and tables to sit at, in addition to traditional diner style bar seats. A small throwback luncheonette with a large diner size menu with very reasonable prices. Stopped in for breakfast this Monday morning and was pleasantly surprised. The picante omelette with home fries and toast was delicious. Excellent coffee as well. The service was great! Right on point, polite, friendly and professional. Spotless clean washrooms as well. I am officially a Falls Kitchen STAN. I wish I came sooner! Cute, old school diner vibes in the heart of downtown LF. Doesn't get much better than that. They have a huge variety of breakfast and lunch options - the worst part is trying to make a decision on what to order! I was immediately struck by how reasonably priced this place is. My boyfriend and I both had meals and coffee and the bill was only 26 dollars. My mouth almost dropped. I even took half my omelet home! The food was tasty and fresh. The star was the eggs cooked into the fresh toast. I could have eaten 10 slices of that. I'm a sucker for a runny egg and it was A+ with the French toast. I rarely see that on the menu anywhere! I'm probably gonna avoid ordering UberEats from diners anymore. Not that the food is bad, this place is good, but do people just eat everything with ketchup?!? I ordered a Falls Kitchen burrito for breakfast and an Awesome burger for lunch. Both came with no sauce in them and only ketchup packets on the side. I can never eat a breakfast burrito without some sort of salsa sauce...makes no sense without any. The burger without any sort of sauce also doesn't make any sense. Just ketchup on a mushroom, cheese, and onion burger? I didn't see any options to add sides of sauce as well. read more

The Falls Kitchen isn't going to serve you steak frites--that's not the point of this diner on Main Street in Little Falls. But the menu does offer everything from a great club sandwich and a vanilla milk shake to that Jersey favorite, Taylor ham (or pork roll, take your pick) and American cheese. They also make a mean tuna fish sandwich (we have a friend whose quality check for a place is how good that last item is). The service is prompt and cheerful, the omelets are generous, and the check for all this is gratifyingly reasonable. Definitely recommended for a good lunch. read more

Passing through towns in Central Jersey on the way to DC, our friend brought us here for breakfast before our 4 our drive. Easy seating in a clean space. We were promptly served with cutlery and water. Hubby and I ordered the avocado Benedict which is avocado as the replacement for Canadian bacon. It was just right. The eggs were runny when cut and the avocado was ripe. I should have asked for muffin to be more toasted. My bad. The hollandaise was fine. A bit lacking in flavor for me. Maybe it was made from a powder versus fresh. The potatoes are fine. Service was good, food came hot and pretty quickly. A splash of color on the plate would have been nice. Chopped parsley is a suggestion. I know everything costs money. If you want to bring in the hipster "kids" who all have a high income, jazz up the food a bit. And if not, I get it. This place is very spacious on the inside. You can dine in or take out. Choose from booth seating, table seating or even countertop seating. It's got an old school feel in the inside which brings back memories of going to a good old diner. To any old school diner you have certain iconic options. My fan favorite is the: Diner Gyro. A few slabs of beef in a warm pita bread with some tzatziki sauce hits the spot. Nothing special or extra, just some nostalgic yummy goodness. The fresh made pancakes were a great addition. Fluffy and moist. I had to add peanut butter and chocolate chips to it. With some table syrup that hit the spot. To all the sweetness I added some salty goodness with some bacon...sweet and salty! Definitely enjoyed this as you don't see many old school diners around anymore. Coupled with fresh made menu items AND a superrrr friendly staff makes this a unique place to dine in. read more

It's been a couple years since I have been to The Falls Kitchen. My previous experiences were always positive. Today's breakfast was no exception. I had two eggs over with a side of kielbasa and home fries. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. My wife ordered poached eggs with a side of sausage which was good as well. The sausage was thin link Jones style and a bit bland. I prefer the custom thick links with a little snap that other area diners serve a bit more. Not a deal breaker by any means. The ambiance is classic old school diner with a heavy dose of Jersey. A lot of locals. I love it! The service was fast and very friendly. The place apparently changed hands a few months ago but the place looks and feels the same as it ever was which is a good thing. I will return sooner than later. read more

Scrambled eggs - the portion was enough to feed two and they were delicious. Haven't had good eggs in a while. French toast was on the money just like how the other reviews said and I was impressed. It was just perfect it had powered sugar and the right of butter. Pancake was fluffy and good I liked it. It wasn't dry at all. I also had turkey sausage and that was also good but to be honest saved it for last because I couldn't finish that whole platter... The staff was very friendly when I walked in and immediately told me I could sit anywhere I'd like. They quickly brought me a menu and asked if I wanted anything to drink.
