I am extremely disappointed with the experience my daughter and daughter-in-law had at your salon on such an important occasion. My daughter came in excited to have her hair styled for her pre-engagement dinner--a day when she should have felt beautiful, confident, and celebrated. Instead, the stylist repeatedly criticized the hairstyle she wanted, telling her that it was "just a trend" and that she should choose something "timeless" instead. Rather than listening to what my daughter wanted, she was made to feel uncomfortable and unsure of herself. She was too intimidated to continue speaking up and ultimately left the salon with a hairstyle she disliked. It was heartbreaking to see her so upset on a day that should have been filled with happiness. My daughter-in-law had a similarly disappointing experience. She was confident enough to advocate for the look she wanted, yet instead of respecting her preferences, the staff referred to her as "too demanding." In fact, one of your staff members even said to me, "Your daughter-in-law is too demanding." I found that comment highly unprofessional and inappropriate. A client who clearly communicates her preferences is not being demanding--she is simply expressing what she would like for a special event. The purpose of visiting a professional salon is to receive expert service while also feeling heard, respected, and cared for. Personal opinions about a client's taste should never be imposed, nor should clients be made to feel judged for requesting the style they envision. What should have been a joyful part of our family's pre-engagement celebration became an upsetting experience that affected both of these young women. I contacted the owner about my dissatisfaction with the topper, as it was not cut evenly and did not sit the way I expected. Rather than offering a real solution, I felt the response focused more on suggesting I may not have been wearing or adjusting it correctly. I also followed up after washing it, because the topper did not stay straight and became curly in a way that did not feel well done. I have not received a response since 6/26. I had hoped the owner would take more ownership and help find a solution, whether that meant adjusting the topper, correcting the cut, or offering some reasonable way to make it right. I had even asked whether more hair could be added to compensate for the uneven trimming, but was told it would not look natural. Given the lack of follow-up or meaningful support, I am changing my rating to 1 star. FRAUD ALERT: This review is for the new management of this salon and everyone looking to do the Magic Sleek Treatment. I am a former Farzana client. I had a flawless Magic Sleek treatment here 3 years ago, which is why I returned and paid $450 for the same service on June 6th, 2026. Before booking, the new management told me they could do the treatment "as good as Farzana, if not better." That confidence was completely unearned. The botched treatment: Within 2 days it was obvious something had gone seriously wrong. My hair was a patchwork of straight and curly sections, exactly the opposite of what a Magic Sleek treatment is supposed to achieve. It was frizzy, dull, and completely lacked the shine and uniformity the treatment delivers when done correctly. This wasn't a minor imperfection. The treatment was performed incorrectly, plain and simple. These stylists do not know how to do it. The refund fraud: I reported the issue with photos immediately. Management (someone who introduced himself as Md, the owner) reviewed my photos (which I sent 30 minutes after our initial call ended on June 14, 2026), acknowledged the problem, and verbally promised me a full refund on a call on June 15th, 2026. He said: "You have my word" and asked for a two week window for the refund after he assessed the photos. He then collected my credit card's last 4 digits to process the refund. What followed was over two weeks of deliberate stalling: - They first pushed a redo appointment, which I declined (I had no interest in letting incompetent stylists touch my hair a second time) - They then demanded an in-person evaluation, despite having already agreed to assess via photos and knowing I don't live nearby - When I pressed for a refund date, they claimed they "could not verify when the photos were taken" accusing me of submitting fake evidence after they had asked me to send photos. Please keep in mind, I sent all the original photos to them, meaning attached to the photos is the metadata including THE EXACT date and time the photos were taken. - They then completely reversed their position: "all sales are final, no refund" This is not a miscommunication. This is a deliberate pattern: make a promise to silence a complaining customer, collect their card details, delay long enough that they hope you give up, then hide behind a no-refund policy they never disclosed when making the verbal commitment. That is fraud. The bottom line: This management cannot perform the treatments they charge $450 for, and when they ruin your hair, they will string you along with broken promises rather than make it right. 4 1/2 I found them by googling and I was new to having a hair topper. It's a little confusing and it feels weird, but they ended up ordering a good style for me colored it. The hair is beautiful. The ladies are very nice. I didn't get a lot of instruction on actually where how to put it on and I needed to have the harsh part line color faded a bit, but they did a pretty good job with coloring I'm not really comfortable wearing it yet I have not worn it out of the house yet , as my base color does not match. I was a loyal customer of Farzana's for years, but since the change in ownership the experience was completely different and very disappointing. I won't be returning. The booking process was disorganized. Communication came from a generic email with no name, I was told one of two stylists would be doing my service, but a different person did it, and I never received a confirmation email or booking details. I was quoted 3.5-4.5 hours, but the service took over 5.5 hours. Previously, this type of appointment used to take closer to 2.5 hours. The salon itself felt unclean. The bathroom had no toilet paper or hand towels. I was told I was receiving a permanent thermal hair straightening treatment, but what was actually used was Magic Sleek, which is advertised as a semi-permanent treatment. The results are not what I'm used to. Most concerning, the stylist flat-ironed my hair while it was completely wet, which caused permanent burn damage. Magic Sleek's own instructions state that hair must be 100% dry before flat-ironing. While the stylist was kind, she admitted she had never performed this service before joining the salon recently. This was a huge departure from the quality and professionalism I experienced for years. read more

It's not common to find a wig stylist. I came across Farzana who is not only a wig stylist but runs a hair salon as well. I brought in my wig for her to see what hair cut is well suited for the frame of my face. What we learned was the wig I bought wasn't the right size for my head. She showed me that the wig should nestle at least 1/2 inch from my face but it was over an inch. That was unfortunate to learn the wig didn't really fit me. Farzana had me try on her wigs so I can see which one would really fit me. My head is large so there weren't that many she had on hand. She advised that I still had a lot of hair so a hair topper is better for me. The topper felt really comfortable and there were different lengths to try. I chose the one 2 inches below my shoulder. That is how long my hair was. The cost was high for the human hair and she said that she takes installment payments. That's good to hear. I wasn't planning on buying a new hair topper but the wig I had didn't fit me so it didn't make sense for me to cut if it doesn't stay still on my head. If anyone is looking for a wig or a topper, Farzana is very knowledgeable and can advise you. read more

I was exploring yelp for a place to get a haircut last Sunday, because I believed my hair was in an unfixable state, when I stumbled on a photo of perfectly silky hair tagged "Brazilian blowout". I have heard the term before, but never actually read about it. I decided to give it a try before chopping off my long damaged hair. Everything about this place is extremely satisfying upon arrival: the interior, the music, the chilled wine you get offered on a hot day, and of course Farzana, the owner of the place. I got the Brazilian blowout treatment which took about 1.5 hrs. I should say I do not remember if my hair ever felt this smooth, shiny, and healthy before. My co-workers (both male and female) noticed the change immediately the next day at work. I couldn't stop touching my hair all day either. It's been a week since my visit, and I cannot be happier about the condition of my hair at the moment. The horrible frizziness is gone, the ends are looking healthy and smooth, and my hair is almost perfectly straight after simply blow-drying it after the shower (usually they're very wavy naturally). Last night I also tried the acai overnight mask that I got at the salon, and I had the fresh-salon feeling. So happy I discovered this place and tried reviving my hair instead of cutting them off! Appalling ! I suffer from thinning hair, so I went ahead and bought myself a hair piece. I was told by the seller that the piece needs a cut and customization to my own natural hair. So I made a couple of calls to stylists to see who can do this kind of thing. Called up Farzana, who said that you can bring the hair piece with you, I'll fit and customize it to your hair for $55. If you want to not only cut the piece, but your own hair, the price is $85. Now, I'm a first timer to wearing hair pieces of any kind. Farzana is an experienced lady, whom I trusted with my hair piece. She was extremely quick with the thinning scissors, and not only did she thin out the piece a lot in a short amount of time, but she thinned out my hair in the process!!!!! Who thins out the hair of a person with hair loss?!!! On top of it, Farzana was unethical in trying to overcharge me. She sneakily tried to charge me $65 in her machine...I peered over teh counter to see what she was doing and asked her why it was $65 when we discussed $55. She said unconvincingly that usual rate is $65 but she can give me a discount of $10. What rubbish!! I'm never going back to her again. read more

I had been trying to get tape in extensions placed, but every salon that I went to either wanted me to buy their tape in extension, at a very expensive price, or refused to do my tape ins, because my hair was too short. Every salon, that is, except Farzana's! I have short hair because I had an illness where the treatment caused hair loss. My hair has grown, it's just not the length that stylist want to place hair extensions. Looking at my hair was a constant reminder of when I was sick. The owner, Farzana, at Farzana's Salon & Boutique, is sooo sweet. My experience from the phone call, to when the service was completed, was absolutely amazing! I provided her with the tape ins, she spent time explaining the options for me so that I could get the results I had hoped for. I knew, going in, that it probably wouldn't be picture perfect but, Farzana never made me feel that it wouldn't be. I had a feeling of comfort that she'd do her very best to try to make my dreams come true. She began placing my hair extensions and taking the time to make me feel comfortable throughout the process. She included me in what she was doing and educating me along the way. She's certainly proved to me, fairly quickly, that she's an extremely talented stylist; This gave me a sense of internal peace with how my hair might look when it's done! During the process, I was looking around and really liked her salon, very comfortable, cozy and an upscale appearing environment. An added bonus, she sells wigs, toppers and an array of other items, as well, to make a woman feel beautiful! When she was finished, I was in awe! My hair looked amazing!
