Delicious hot dogs and incredible service!! I've been waiting to go to Mustard's Last Stand for a while and it did not disappoint. They have a really big menu with a little something for everyone, including turkey and veggie dogs! Also, any dog combination can be made with a veggie dog instead of the traditional beef hot dog. Additionally, they have Sausage, Chicago Italian Beef, and Chicken options for those who may not want a hot dog! The employees were really helpful with their suggestions and very patient (because I took absolutely forever to decide and order). I ended up getting a Yankee Dog with added Sauerkraut and my friend got their Chucky's Chicken Fries. Everything was SO good! I'm not typically a big fan of hot dogs but when I saw how many combinations they have, I knew I had to give it a try. Each dog is served on a poppy seed bun and is made to order! I loved the flavor of the dog and how well made it was! One of the best dogs I've ever had. The Chucky's Chicken Fries were unbelievable and I have never had anything like them before. It's almost a meal on its own! It's pilled high with chicken, bacon, grilled onion, melted cheese, and spicy ranch. You have to try it if you find yourself here! It's during COVID so they only wanted two people inside ordering at a time. This slowed down the line a bit but the wait was so worth it. We chose to sit outside by the garden which I loved because it was away from the busy road. The other choice was by the front door under a canopy. Inside seating wasn't available at this time due to COVID. Our meal cost with two sides, two dogs and two drinks was around $20.00 which is reasonable these days. Food is still just as yummy! I would eat here more if I could sub toppings. I don't really eat cheese & I like mushrooms on everything. I find myself hesitant to try new items bc of this. I'm never completely satisfied w/ the specific combinations. I appreciate all the vegetarian options since all their sealicious options are breaded. Mustards Last Stand in Melbourne, Florida has been one of my favorite restaurants on the Space Coast for many years. The food is excellent! It is a Chicago style eatery and their main specialty is hot dogs! Some years ago I stopped eating meat, but sometimes I have no choice but to eat meat when I am low on money. This place is excellent if you do not eat meat. Basically any hot dog on the menu can be replaced by a vegan hot dog upon request! I usually get the Boston Dog or the Chicago dog, and sometimes the Eau Gallie dog. This place has all kinds of different hot dogs, check out their menu online to see what they offer. They also have a drive thru so you can order your dogs without getting out of your car! Also other great meatless options is the Tree Hugger Tacos, and the Mushroom Burger as well, both excellent and very tasty. In the last few years I have only been by myself at this place, not with anybody else. Usually the one near Eau Gallie on North Harbor City Boulevard (US 1) in Melbourne. Quick note on this location, there is a small road at the back that will take you to a road linking to Eau Gallie Boulevard then you can take that road to get on Harbor City Boulevard through the traffic light at the intersection. That is a safer way to get back to Harbor City Boulevard North Bound, instead of trying to make a left turn onto Harbor City Boulevard directly from Mustards. Mustards also has a location at downtown Melbourne near the great nightlife downtown like Meg O Malley's and other clubs on New Haven Avenue! However, this one does not have a drive-thru! I want to love this place, I truly do. I have a good history with old hotdog stands or hole-in-the-walls, but this place just doesn't cut it for me. My family ordered a Chicago dog, a polish dog, fish and chips, and "chicken tenders". The hotdogs tasted delicious, but they were just so tiny! Not even two could fill me up, where most other hotdog places they would. The fish and chips were decent, but again the portion was quite small for the price. And then there were the "chicken tenders", which were just sliced chicken breast with a very light breading. My kid loves chicken tenders, but he hated these. Not to mention that they had a very long wait. Not for getting food out, but actually standing in line for the food. I think the problems is their menu is too big. They have hot dogs, burgers, chicken, fish, fries, sandwiches, and just too many things. In retrospect, all of the hotdog joints I love all have only hotdogs. If Mustard's menu were more focused, they wouldn't have to throttle their queue to cook, and they could also lower their prices on hotdogs. I really wanted to love this place, but I just can't. While I enjoyed what I tasted, it just isn't worth it for me to come back. Sorry, Mustard's! read more

"A Hot Dog Feast!" Saw the bright yellow sign on our way to a Cuban restaurant a few days ago, and I knew we'd have to come here, too, since my wife loves hotdogs - and we did! Took a while to choose from the extensive choices, but she settled on the All American with bacon, tomato, cheese and mayo ( she loved it!) and the Slaw Dog - very fresh, crispy tasting slaw with a nice flavor. I had the Boston ( maybe in honor of the Patriot win over KC) with baked beans, and potato salad, which was slightly sweet, which is ok by me; and MORK - Mustard, onion, relish, ketchup. Note - the hot dogs are Vienna beef, and excellent and they were served on hotdog rolls with poppy seeds - not something we see in the ALB. We also got the 50-50: half fries, half onion rings, and we split a draft beer. Total for all that with tax but no tip was about $23, a lot of tasty food, fun and kitsch for the price! Kind of a fun environment and I suggest you take the time to check out the Knick knacks and signed celebrity photos on the walls. It was cool and windy so we sat inside but there are covered tables under an awning outside if you like - although busy RT 1 run nearby. The people next to us ordered Italian beef, which came with a bunch of toppings and looked pretty awesome, too. All and all, pretty good dogs and a great price made for two happy campers! read more

The new haven location is 100X better. This location is terrible. Hotdogs are kept frozen and you can taste the staleness. They also don't know how to make the chicago style the right way. Mustard's Last Stand went green this year. They replaced their plastic with paper and wood. It all came together nicely with the exception of the large rubber band that was being used to hold down the lid of paper containers. Rubber is biodegradable but it takes a really long time to break down. My husband and I throughly enjoyed the Chicago Dogs. They were made perfectly and served hot. The bun was soft and the hot dog, pickles and peppers were delicious. The cheese fries were kind of disgusting. In fairness I do not like fake nacho type cheese so they did not have a chance. If you do like it you will be happy that they load gobs of it on to saturate the fries. The service was excellent and the inside of the restaurant was clean. read more

I love how casual mustards is - perfect for a post-beach bite with friends, plus outdoor seating to enjoy a sunny day! The menu here is WILD; there are so many options, not just for the hot dogs but fries and other goodies too. The cashier was very friendly and gave me a few suggestions. I went with the Boston dawg because baked beans and potato salad sounded amazing, and added a half order of KC fries to get my pulled pork fix, so I happily covered ALL the bases. Everything tasted amazing, the meats were all fresh, the potato salad had the perfect amount of mustard in it, and the fries were hot and crispy. Bonus points for being EXTREMELY affordable.
