Let me start eith dessert, because those fun buns are amazing!! So good, better than expected, with a crunchy outside, warm dough inside, and a perfect dipping sauce to compliment. We also had another dessert, but it didn't strike the same cord for me. We shared 2 salads to start, a carsar with salmon and a Caesar with chicken. My daughter thought the salmon was done perfectly and enjoyed with lightly dressed Caesar. I thought both were great, and we did a good job sharing those plus a large build your own pizza. That was good, too, but a little slight on the sauce for my liking. I did appreciate the multiple sauce options, although we stuck with traditional. Generally, a great local Pub with good food. However, I am an older fellow who has an intolerance to CANOLA OIL. Even tiny amounts give me 3 to 5 hours of intestinal cramps and diarrhea, so I ask before I order, what foods are cooked in CANOLA OIL? I try to avoid it if possible. The answer, almost everything on the menu is cooked in CANOLA OIL. I thought I would play it safe and order a Pizza. Well, it seems they pre-cook the sausage meat in CANOLA OIL, without disclosing it. I wished they would use Soybean oil instead. Unlike CANOLA OIL, Soybean oil is a real food product, but it is slightly more expensive. As people age, their intestines become more sensitive to non-food products, such as food dyes and other highly processed GMO products, like CANOLA OIL. read more

Our server Olivia was great, she was patient while we were looking over the menu, and asked if we wanted to order a puppy patty (medium rare beef patty) for our Kiki. We each ordered something different and it was all tasty. The garlic parm fries were well seasoned, everyone's order came out fairly quickly. The covered patio seating was nice. Had a very jarring experience here on Thursday 5/21 as me my work friends typically hang out here for happy hour. Even though this restaurant advertises itself as kid-friendly, it really isn't. We've visited several times and always sit out on the patio. Each time we've gone, it hasn't been busy. Because of that, we've let the kids color and play at the table next to us, and occasionally at the small table by the lower TV -- which honestly looks like it's meant for children. However, the manager always stands in the doorway, watching the kids, and the waitress repeatedly tells us that those tables are "about to be occupied," asking us to have the kids return to their seats. I would completely understand if the restaurant were crowded, if the kids were being disruptive, or if there were any safety concerns -- but that's never been the case. It really seems like the manager just doesn't like children. If our young kids are expected to sit quietly the entire time, we might as well go to a more upscale spot like Joey's or R+D. It's a shame, too, because our bills were usually around $1,000 or more each visit. We've since started going to Islands up the road, which is actually kid-friendly. read more
