Had dinner here on Friday with my wife, son, and parents to celebrate my birthday. As usual, it was a hit. Service was good. There isn't one server assigned to a table. Throughout the evening we had about four different employees check up on us. They were all friendly and professional. We started with the chorizos parrilleros and the pork belly. The porkbelly isn't on the regular menu. It was on the daily specials menu. It was one of the best I've had. The skin was crispy and delicious. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. It had a pineapple bbq sauce that was amazing. My wife ordered a cream of pumpkin soup, also on the daily specials menu. It was excellent. For the main course I went with the bife de chorizo (sirloin). It was cooked and seasoned just right. I got it with a side of truffle parmesan fries. Great night.

I've been here a couple of times. It has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants here in Puerto Rico. Everything they do they do well, from the service to the food. I really like the chorizos, empanadas, skirt steak, Pizza Argentina, and the papardelle pasta. This last time I went I ordered the papardelle pasta with a 4 cheese sauce and shrimp. One of the best dishes I've ever had. Portion sizes here a big. Unless you are a glutton, expect leftovers. Food is pricey, but considering the portion size, I would say it's fair. Parking is valet only. Free of charge, just give the attendant a tip.

Papp pasta with house sauce and this is delicious!!

Let's start with the service. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a smile and feel at home. The staff is amazing! Ahhhmazing! So refreshing to have excellent food service experience. You all know how I am about my food and service. They go together. Period. Muzzarella combines service with excellent food experiences. It's a must visit! What we tried Argentino sausages and fried mozzarella for appetizer. I had the Pappe Pasta with house sauce and extra sautéed mushrooms. So fuckin good! Also the portions are huge so come hungry My partner had the skirt steak. He loved it. Give them a try you won't regret it!

As I said, I will come back in when I'm back in the island so I did and wow!!! Delicious!!!! Pizzas are tasty and filled with meat and delicious ingredients. Filet mignon is to die for, cooked to perfection just as I remembered. Fish of the day was extraordinary served with a scrumptious majado (mashed jams). Good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Food is honestly terrific in flavor and presentation. Service is excellent. There is only one detail I don't like and it is the parking. You can only use valet parking, which can be annoying, but at least the guys are great about it. Muzzarella is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the island for pizzas, good meat, and great service. It gets really crowded on weekends so come with patience.

My favorite meal in Puerto Rico!! Muzzarella is marketed as Argentine food, but expect Italian. They are known for their pizzas and pastas, and have both English and Spanish menus. We tried the Risotto of the Day, two Alfredo Linguini's, and two Carbonara Linguini's with shrimp and skirt steak, which all totaled to a little over $100 including tax and tip. Prices range, but they average between $19-30. And that 'skirt steak' was honestly better than a LOT of the pricier meats I've had. Unlike a lot of other med-high end restaurants, there's no argument about quality vs. quantity because Muzzarella delivers a FILLING meal that is also delicious. Ya girl is picky about her pasta but this place far exceeded my expectations. In addition, despite the medium range price tag, the restaurant is not too pretentious, and it doesn't have the too uptight, too refined air to it. Rather, the servers are all wearing cute little orange adidas shirts, and are friendly enough, although a bit hurried. Customers are dressed nicely but casually and the space is not too quiet. It's location is rather unceremonious, and it faces a large avenue of oncoming traffic. This is a splurge location, especially if you're a college student like me; although for a semi-special night, it's a satisfying and unforgettable meal for a decent price. I would come back for my birthday if I could.

We were able to snag a reservation but for a late time which was about an hour and a half before close. The service was super great but one thing I wished they mentioned that the bottled water was going to be a $40 charge lol. Makes sense for any upscale restaurant though. Should've mentioned we wanted tap so fair warning, ask cause you WILL get charged haha. We had a group of 10 and for how big the group was, the food came out pretty fast. I don't think we ever had a time between drinks to entrees where we were waiting for food to come out. We got the watermelons mojito for drinks since it was the most raved about. It was good but personally nothing crazy for me. 8/10 score on that. We also curry popcorn chicken, the ahi tuna lollipops, the empanadillas and the goat cheese quesadillas for apps and honestly overall 9/10. This is where I don't like the sweetness part of this meal. The empanadillas were what I was most excited for but it was more sweet then savory which sort of lose my appetite a little. I think if you like that kind of taste then it's going to be good. It wasn't a bad taste at all. Just too sweet for my liking. The curry popcorn chicken was good and the lollipops were great. Again, nothing crazy. The goat cheese quesadillas was good as well but again, too sweet for my liking. Now on to the entree, they didn't have the porkchop since we came late so I ended up getting the porkchop belly dish. When it came out, it looked amazing but then I got a whiff of it and smelled cinnamon. That's when I was sort of disappointed. It was like eating pork but tasting Cinnamon Toast Crunch and as said before, it tasted great but too sweet for me. This one was way too sweet to where it seemed like a dessert item. I just had poor luck and got one of the one items that were sweet. This doesn't tank the rating down whatsoever because I also should've read it had cinnamon. It would've been great if they made a dipping sauce or something to pair it with and not have it on the pork belly itself. I got to try other dishes my friends got which were good as well but I wish I got to try something else. If I came back I would try the sold out item which was the pork shank or the sea bass. I know for a fact the sea bass was amazing. Had a bite of it and thought "I'll come back for that" Overall, 10/10 experience and nothing bad about the place but gotta try different items when I go next time. I understand the hype now

This meant the bartender David was our server who was SO incredible. He was professional, incredibly efficient, kind, patient, gave us tips about the area, and made great dinner recommendations. He never let our water get below halfway full which I truly value too. Now onto the food - we shared the caesar salad, vodka pasta with chicken, and guavanoli. What a treat!!!! The caesar was large and fresh. The vodka sauce was more tomato based rather than loaded with heavy cream, which made it fresh and flavorful rather than super heavy which we enjoyed. Now the star of the show - the Guavanoli - a chicken stuffed crepe topped with mozzarella and guava sauce. David said tourists usually stay away from this because it sounds so different but it's the locals favorite. I can attest this has been one of our favorite meals of the entire trip, and we agreed the guavanoli was one of the most delicious yet unique entrees we've ever had. We're here for 2 more days and want to come back to get it again. The crepe wrapping essentially tastes like an enchilada, and the guava sauce is NOT too sweet. It's mixed with a red wine reduction so it has a slightly sweet edge to it, but is 1000% perfect with the dish and delicious. The prices are on the higher size but the portions are large and totally justify it. With the 2 of us, we ended up having a very decent amount of the vodka pasta as leftovers to take back to the hotel. We didn't order drinks, but David was whipping up incredible looking cocktails! They also have really cool hand-painted large portraits around the room. Beautiful restaurant, amazing staff, and even better food!!

I planned a dinner for 19 family members for my father's 70th birthday, including senior family members and children. We also had guests with severe food allergies and different dietary needs. Because of this, I called STK before our trip to make sure our group could be accommodated. I spoke directly with a manager named Nicole and explained everything. We had several separate reservations and I asked if we could simply be seated near each other instead of doing the large group menu (pre selected) and minimum. I was told this would be fine and that the team would do their best to accommodate. When we arrived, that completely changed. The General Manager on duty, Josie, refused to honor what I had previously been told. We were told that if we wanted to be treated as one group, there would be a $150 per person minimum, with an exception for the children. What made this even more frustrating was that the restaurant was practically empty. There were plenty of open tables, including tables right around where our reservation of 12 was being seated. We were not asking for all 19 people to sit at one table. We simply wanted our other reservations seated nearby so our family could enjoy my dad's birthday dinner together. There was large area where this could be accommodated. They still refused. At that point, we decided to take our business elsewhere. I called Rare 125 Neighborhood Grill at the last minute and explained what happened. They welcomed all 19 of us, seated us together and treated our family wonderfully. No hassle. No unnecessary back and forth. Just great hospitality. My issue is not that STK has policies. My issue is that I did my due diligence as a customer should. I called ahead, explained our situation, spoke with a manager and received approval before bringing 19 people to the restaurant. We made our plans based on what STK management told us, only for that agreement not to be honored once we arrived. Josie even asked me for proof that Nicole the manager I spoke with approved this request. If you are planning a large family dinner, milestone birthday, multigenerational celebration, or have guests with different dietary needs, please keep our experience in mind. I would strongly recommend getting any special arrangements in writing. For families looking for this same type of accommodation, my advice based on our experience is simple: spend your dollars elsewhere. We did, and the restaurant that welcomed us ended up giving my father and our family the experience we were looking for. Best, Ashley Lane
