The price was over $1000 less than anyone else on a comparable car. We drove an hour and a half to get there and the car was ready to test drive. After a 20 minute drive we decided to buy the car and because we were paying by check we were out of there in less than 30 minutes. That was the fastest car purchase I have ever made. The car looks in flawless shape and they not only showed us the Carfax, they showed us another more detailed report showing clear title and no accidents or damage. They have a vehicle I am interested in and this was the easiest sale they could have add. They are very attentive in initial contact but are horrible at follow up. How many times shouldn't a customer have to ask for information about a vehicle? If a sales rep can't answer basic questions about what they are selling they are not capturing the moment to make a sale. In 2024 we bought a truck. They said they would register the truck they sold us, they said there were no back fees, they said it passed smog. All of these were lies. The paperwork had not been turned into the DMV, there are more than $1000 in back fees, once we realized it hadn't been registered a few months after waiting for said paperwork to arrive to the house. It could never pass smog and hadn't for a year previous. I really don't know who the people are that give good reviews. I guess scammers have sold as many good cars as bad to keep going. I had my eyes on this, paid 11k shipped to my place. Only to get screwed with 5k in repairs and a rusted out bottom car, I took them to court here in NYC and won my case. I hired a lawyer in cail where i purchased the car, and went to apply for the sister judgement act, which allows me to collect my money. The cali judged decided im cant sue them here and have to fly to cali , not even sure why. So im asking for help. to boycott the shit out of the place with bad feedback. They have done this to many ppl , and wish i had done my research. All those 5 stars reviews are paid for. You can see for yourself that the rest are one stars. They sold me a lemon, I was on their butts about fixing it. The first time it took them 13 days. The second time. They took their time again so when I received it back, it was only a day before my crappy 30 day "warranty". None of the issues with the car were addressed at the time of purchase either. They offered a full refund and cancellation of the purchase. However they haven't done their part to cancel so it looks like I still owe this money. The financial provider has stated no attempts have been made by the dealership to contact them. As soon as I called Stan he starts making excuses. I asked to see the email he claimed he had received from the finance company and he hung up in my face LOL. They're trash. read more

I am not a review person at all but I had to warn the people who may shop at the Anytime Auto in Sherman Oaks. Let me first state that i knew what I was getting myself into and was ok with my decision as I don't plan to drive the car u purchased too hard. With that said, Sherman oaks Anytime auto gets a 5 for the patience and customer service if you deal with 2 of the 3 people who work in the office. The third will definitely need some training in ettiquite but he seems to be more the muscle than the sales man. The mechanics who assist are really cool as well and clearly good at their job. Now for the tough part, Anytime auto Sherman oaks are charlotons! They practice standard car selling practices like adding gap, charging higher amounts for DMV registration and even stating the bank requires a financing fee to make the loan happen (clearly false in most cases but can't guarantee in all). Make sure to also look at car fax and examine car completely as they will not be forthcoming as most used car dealers won't be. Now what let me to write this review. I bought my car on Saturday and within 24 hours my check engine light came on! Now that Is not by coincidence I am certain that light has been on and they just got it removed to sell the car. Now to the credit of Anytime auto shermanoaks they offered me a contract prior to leaving for $500 total (150 plus 350 restock) that I had 48 hours so if something went wrong I can bring it back. Mind you, my downpayment was $500, so I am sure the contract is built to keep your money and just return the loan to the bank. Here is the catch, they gave me a mile stipulation of 250. Everyone knows nothing will happen to a car in decent shape before 250 miles, so i declined. Well at Mile 260, my check engine light sure did come on. I know it was 260 as I drove from my house to Santa Maria and made it back to Ventura before it came on. My house to Santa Maria is 153 miles and then 96 from santa maria to ventura. That equals 249 miles, plus i lived 11 miles from the dealer ship. So you can see why i declined contract and why i had to write this long review. Hopefully people read the reviews before going. Again, i am not mad as i expected to have problems after 6-months, just disappointed as i had problems under 24 hours from purchase. ​​​ read more

One car that I was able to take to my mechanic for inspection (it was decided that the mileage was a little too high for my needs). And no pressure to buy. If I could give it less I would. What crooks. The car had problems the day after I drove it off the lot. I tried to return it the next buisness day, saying it wasn't a good fit, and Andrew refused. They felt comfortable selling me a 10yr old car with 130k miles on it for 18k. I paid 12k cash. I told them I drive 60+miles a day, and then recommended a v8. I didn't know better. Upon driving it the radiator was pushing brown liquid out the front, told them the next buisness day, the Windshield wipers were not working.The front lights are damaged as well as the front camera. They promised they had fixed everything and how did I looked over, they lied. They bullied me and sent me texts that they were going to call LAPD and report the car I bought from them, stolen. Please PLEASE read the reviews. Do not buy from them. It has been a headache from the start to now. I was waiting for them to make it right, but all I got was lies and for them to bully me. I took it into a dealer after I purchased it my 2010 Mercedes convertible just to have it checked out,again it's 10 years old . Everything checked out except one thing. Called the Anytime Auto and it wasn't covered under warranty,But they offered to pay half for it anyways. I drove out from Ontario so they could keep the car overnight and fix it. Was very disappointed because none of my check Engine lights went on to show I needed any work done. Now I have to deal with the Mercedes repair man who gave me the wrong information. RUN AWAY FROM ANYTIME LIES!!! I bought a 2014 Audi SQ5 that Anytime lies claimed was in good condition. Here's the list of problems after a diagnostic Bad windshield wipers- 30$ Bad A/C Blower motor- 600$ Bad Battery- 500$ Low Coolant/Wrong Coolant type- 400$ Bad Control Arms 2000$ Needs new tires because of uneven wear from continuous driving on bad control arms- 1500$ Bad motor mounts- 1600$ Low Oil... These guys can't inspect a vechile properly or put in the right coolant and the correct amount of oil... or they know exactly what's wrong and dump Bad cars onto their customers. Thats 6630$ of maintenance on a car they claim is in "Good" condition and I haven't even drove it 500miles But wait it gets better... The Towing Company "Gobal Towing Corp" they used to transport the vechile put 8000$ worth of damages on the front end from the tow truck blasting the front end with rocks. And because it's a transportation claim insurance only gives me their portion. I have to hunt down global Towing for their 2500$ deductible. I now have to go through small claims court to get that money... Anytime lies was little to no help in the process. These guys lie, don't care for their cars, don't care for their customers, and work with shady Towing Companies who damage your vehicle further. Read other Bad reviews. Purchased a 2017 Buick Enclave I want to say I couldn't of had a better car buying experience, especially in these times of inflation and the car market. I have never purchased a car from a dealership and was very nervous about using a small dealership. I was pleasantly surprised by Victor and his staff. I arrived and my car to test drive was ready and the ease of testing and examining was great. I drove for about 45 minutes and no questions were asked. I came back and had a few questions and Victor had no problem answering all my questions. There were no extra dealer fees and random price gauging that I've seen in my search for a car. I bought my car that day. I wanted a specific monthly payment and they worked with me to get the price to that amount. My interest rate was decent for our current climate. He even helped me with knowledge for the future on possible refinance and how to lower that rate. Considering I have no idea what I'm doing. As a single female who went alone to the dealership, I was treated just like any other customer. (Male clients) hate to say it but we hear the horror stories.
