The eye exam was thorough and professionally done. There did seem to be some surprise when I came in and said I had an appointment. Store was empty. Frame selection was diverse but mostly unappealing. I feel like the value was okay for self pay, but I still left feeling unsatisfied for some reason. Kaitlyn, Madison, and Theo were wonderful! i lost my glasses, no back up pair. i called and was able to get in right away. I had a bad experience at the last place i went to, and told them about it. they were so nice and i didn't feel pressured into anything at all. i got exactly what i wanted. i was able to get my basic pair the same day, and my fancy pair later. i didn't think the pricing was too bad, either- not for an exam, 2 pairs of glasses, and a lens warranty. it did take about 90 minutes from when i got there to when i left, which is why they are not a whole 5 stars. i would still recommend them. read more

My wife and I went on the same day to get the exam and all, her glasses came back the next week but here we are 3 weeks later going on 4 and I'm yet to receive mine! I needed a last-minute appointment for my 10-year-old daughter, who had lost her glasses and needed a new eye exam before school started. To my surprise, Stanton Optical had an appointment available that same afternoon, and she could get her glasses the very next day after her 3:30 appointment! When we arrived, I was initially taken aback to learn that the eye exam would be done remotely. I wasn't sure how that would work, but it turned out to be just like having a doctor in the room! A technician performed a few preliminary tests, and then we were taken to the exam room where the doctor appeared on a TV screen and conducted the exam seamlessly. The customer service was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and explained the entire process. I don't like the company period. I booked online for a special of $139 for the contact lens exam plus 2 boxes of contacts. It said for $60 more you can get it with the astigmatism. I read the find print and it only said you can not purchase contacts in AR. I go to the store and inform of this and they tell me absolutely not. They will not honor any online specials. They said they are franchised. My thing is that is false advertising. No fine print said that and when I booked online it gave me this location as an option. very upset!! I will never use them again. Also, the doctor who signed my prescription is a doctor located out of Flagstaff AZ even though a lady is the one who over zoom gave me my exam. It's even hard now to order contacts online! Only giving one star because 0 is not an option. Went here for 2 for $79 glasses with free exam... used insurance and paid over $600. Should have paid $10 copay on exam but was charged full price so have a $69 credit on my account that I tried to use to put transition on my lenses and can't do that but also can't get them to refund me the money even though it was their mess up by overcharging me... glasses were supposed to be ready on 12/17 but was told by the girl that is an estimate and they're usually done much sooner. Got a text on 12/18 stating they were ready to pick up so I go up there and they don't have them and have no explanation as to why only that they were delayed. It's now 12/22 and still no glasses or reason why. So I went here a while back and have nothing good to say about this place at all except the cheap exam. The glasses are cheaply made the lenses are cheaply made. I got two pair of glasses from this place and the first pair broke into literal pieces after a year I had a back up pair with anti scratch and transition lenses so I started using them after a couple weeks of wearing them they started scratching up and the transition film started peeling. So I left a review on google and got a reply. Needless to say I got the runaround about the thing after spending 700 bucks they wanted me to spend another 70 to replace the lenses on the others. I walked in and all the women looked at me like I was lost, I mentioned I had an appointment and they told me "No" then I showed them my text confirmation and they said "oh must have missed that one" Then had me fill out paperwork and sign in, then tell me they had to cancel the two appointments before me because the machines are broke and to come back another time. I then asked why they had me wait 10 minutes and fill out paperwork if the machine was broke? Then she replied "well we just found out." The trial contacts they gave me irritated my eyes so I went back to get a different pair. They gave me a second pair but would not change my prescription. They said I would have to pay for another eye exam in order for them to change my prescription to the brand of contacts that did not irritate my eyes. I went to the Del City location to give it a try. It's $45 for the eye exam. I chose to only get the exam and not buy glasses because I wanted to purchase them elsewhere. The receptionist was nice and the atmosphere over all was okay. I was completely shocked when I started my exam. There is no optometrist on site. It's done virtually. I had no idea prior to coming so please do your research before coming. The exam went by fast and I felt like I was being rushed. Towards the end dr randomly says this is the end of the exam thank you. The computer shuts off and that was that. They wrote me a wrong prescription because I'm having eye strain, headache and my vision is slightly blurry. It was a waste of time and money. Highly do not recommend this place. read more

I would not recommend this place(Del City, OK) to anyone needing a real eye exam and glasses. for one, the eye exam is done over the web, the second, the staff does not listen to what you tell them. I lost my glasses and so made an appointment to get exam and eyeglasses the same day. I told them i just needed single vision reading glasses. they asked me 4-5 times about bi-focals and each time I told them no, I dont like them I just want single vision cause thats what my other glasses were and I just needed some emergency glasses. My appointment was for 11:30 am, at 1:30 they started making the glasses, at 2:30 they texted me to pick them up, when I put them on I could not see close up to read they said oh well they must have put the distance lense on the bottom along with the top, which they meant to put the distance on top and close up on bottom, I told them but I didnt want bi-focals and I didnt need distance, I can see just fine faraway, I just needed reading glasses, so they said they would have to remake them. They never texted me back so i went back at 5:00 and they said well they didnt get them made because a family of four came in and they had to service them. Thats bullshit!!! I had been waiting on my glasses all day long before the family of four came in, my glasses should have been completed before them. Now they say my glasses may be done Tuesday and thats just one pair, I paid for two pairs. I tried to get a refund but they have a no refund policy. I will never be using this buisness again and I definitley will not recommend their service. read more

I had an appointment to be seen at 11:15. They took the walk in patients first, and we waited over 2 hours to be seen. They repeatedly said "they overbooked us." They asked for personal information in the waiting room, and the receptionist was rude when I asked for her to explain some pricing. She acted like I inconvenienced her ....while she was doing her job. I had my 6 year old with me, and it wasn't easy waiting over 2 hours with her in tow. Had I known I'd had walked in at 8am and maybe not have had to wait so long. This appointment was made over a week ago, and that didn't seem to matter. They are slowly pulling back one patient at a time, taking over 30 min with each. After the waiting, to get the advertised deal, they had a total of 7 pairs to choose from. I was very disappointed and very inconvenienced. I want to the eye lab in Del City. It was new so we gave it a chance. We only had to pay for lenses and frames for one pair of glasses ( the other was free) . They said it would be $350!( for basic single vidion lenses, nothing special) Seriously. So we put down $98 . We left, and an hour later I called them back and asked if they could plz cancel the order? I said we don't need a refund, we just would rather get contacts instead( we already had a contact exam also). The manager tells me no, she said she called the owner and he said no, I can't do that. I asked why, I mean it had only been an hour. No lenses or glasses had been made. But still they said no. I called the customer service number 3 times and they said eye labs policy is that a customer has 24 hours to change or cancel an order. They emailed the owner telling him this and asking him to plz correct this issue. He never did. Finally I get a call from the owner again informI guess me, that he refuses to cancel the order ( he doesn't care if it was even 15 minutes latter) He said he has no concern at all if a person changes their mind) I reminded him the glasses hadn't even been made. I informed him of the 24 hour window that eyelab said was their policy. He still didn't care. I was not asking for any refund, just to plz put the money towards contacts instead. We needed the contacts more than the glasses. The owner was a jerk. He said he could care less if I was unhappy. He said that's just buyers remorse . He proceeded to tell me he didn't want customers like me and he could care less if I told me THREE friends. I was completely shocked. Most buisnessws want not only your business but your repeat buisness and want you to give good reviews and to refer your friends and family. But this owner said he didn't care. He continued to go on and tell me that he didn't care that customer service said I had 24 hours to cancel or change my order. He said he is a franchise and he can do whatever he wants and he doesn't have to answer to anybody! I said, yes but your name is not on the building. You are using eye labs name and they have certain standard practices. He then got sarcastic and said " his name was eye lab". Just a complete jerk. We argued a bit and he then just flipped out and told me to F OFF! I was shocked. Then my adult son grabbed the phone and said " who the hell are you talking to like that? Is that how you talk to a paying customer let alone a woman? The owner continued to be a complete a..! They argued and the owner hung up. It's the absolute worst customer service I have ever had In my life!!!! There are tons of other eye exam places in Mid-Del therefore I will NEVER go back there. I want others to be aware of my experience before they choose to do buisness w you. Also check to see if your going to a chain store or if it is a franchise like this.
