I'll start by saying I don't love this place.. I don't love that you don't see a doctor in person it's via zoom or Skype. My prescription was not right the first time around so I fixed it at another optometrist and they replaced my lenses at Stanton at no additional charge. I am giving it 5 stars because Memory's Customer service is impeccable! She is always smiling, friendly and real! You can tell she genuinely cares! From someone with over 12 years of customer service I'd say offer that girl the most you can before someone else swoops her up and offers her more. Thanks Memory you are AWESOME! read more

Honestly I was unimpressed from the get. I walked in to 2 of the associates chatting, they welcomed me into the store and returned to their conversation. I had to ask about directions for my exam. I sat there for maybe 10 or so minutes. Come to find out they don't work with BCBS well and I ended up trying for the 2 pairs for 79$. And that deal was nice. I only paid 6.81 for the taxes on the frames but they just credit the exam cost towards glasses. That part isn't a big deal. I came on my lunch break expecting an exam to take maybe an hour. Preferably less. There was one person ahead of me and the exam itself took almost 2 hours between having the gal use the table machines then a zoom meeting with someone that I am just going to hope has some sort of knowledge about eye exams. He was drinking water and yawning the entire time and I was only in there for maybe 15 minutes? I don't think my prescription is correct due to the fact that today I came to pick up my glasses and it was such a big jump (that's not part of the review though. I'm sure my eyes have gotten worse. I walked in to pick up my prescription and the poor gal came running in from her lunch after the other associate went out for a smoke break before checking for waiting customers. The only positive thing about this review is that I choose not to use my insurance so at least I can go to a different doctor and not have out of pocket fees. read more

Horrible place. The service at first was fine, after ordering my glasses which were custom transitional lenses with my own personal frames. They took a month to get them to me. Never called me, I had to keep bugging. They kept saying they couldn't find them and all just for it to turn out they couldn't use my lenses. Couldn't get my refund back that day, have to wait 30-45 days they said and I got no paperwork or confirmation when I asked stating the process of a return. Ridiculous. Eyemart is better than this trash. So I just have to "trust" that I'll get my money back. read more

My prescription seems good so far. My glasses were ready the next day, and they did have a decent selection. However I was not a fan of the whole video call eye exam. I think we all know how hard it is to understand some letters when spelling something over the phone. I worried about being misunderstood because I already couldn't hear the woman who was doing my eye exam very well. I'm sure there's a financial reason Stanton chooses this vs a real in person exam. Run! Horrible "customer service". Receptionist was short and handed me a card and told me to call my insurance myself. No one else in waiting room, I had an appointment and a walk in was welcomed and assisted AFTER I had been waiting for 20 minutes. I've had a terrible experience here. I came in for an exam and ordered contacts from them. The sales person told me I was getting 2 boxes but he meant 1 box per eye. Whatever, at least the contacts came in and were correct. Now, I need to order more. Had to go to the store to get the prescription since the one they provide on their online portal is useless (no patient or doctor info on it) and it's wrong. Wrong contact type and wrong RX!!! Customer service said I needed to go in for another exam. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Now, let's see if the store manager can make it right. My expectations are low. read more

Walk-ins accepted. NOT!! They don't even have an optometrist on-site. They told me to go to the optometrist office next door, which I did. Turns out he has a 2 star rating. Think I woukd trust my eyes to him? Or they could stick me in a room and let the machines run and report to someone offsite. Who knows if they are even a doctor. The business practices of this establishment alone should be enough to shut them down. I have decided to take legal action after learning this company ( corporate owned and franchise owned) has been able to continue to stay in business after countless complaints in every state they operate in, all of which are the same exact issues in all the reviews, complaints, and reports. - faulty and cheap products - wrong prescriptions - refusal of refunds - false and misleading advertising - along with being under the radar of many medical board reviews due to the remote exam done by some random white coat in an unknown location. - employees working the exam machines not being previously trained in the area of work - franchise owners and corporate big wigs gaslighting and demeaning in responses to customers reviews. - BBB ratings just shy of completely failing I have requested a refund on my purchase that is 100% incorrect Prescription for both myself and my significant other is incorrect, we picked up 3 of the 4 pairs bought, my eyelab still has the last pair in their possession. I stated I did not wish to pick them up and wanted to return the 3 we had for a refund due to being incorrect. The response we were given was "We don't do refunds" Contacted corporate and they informed me the location is a franchise and they don't honor refunds. 1. Was told more than once during the purchase they did 2. All marketing is displayed as My eye lab with no stipulations of location being franchise and having different "rules" 3. They did not respond to the BBB complaint, I was contacted by the BBB to inform me they failed to give a response or reply to the complaint and it would be tagged as no response by business The solution I was offered A reexamination A second try at the production of product And a free pair of sunglasses The percentage of the product being incorrect the first time sits at 75%, those odds were not something I want to bet against a second time, I have now spent $430.00 for a service and merchandise that I am 100% unsatisfied with. I went in for an eye exam and was totally ready to order my frames online but Steven and his coworker were so helpful i ended up getting two frames for such a great price and definitely left happy. Be aware that Doctor visit is on video. Also, the Doctor did not see explain what I needed or what was recommended. When we finish the video exam they told me to pick up frames and try them... I went for a eye exam. I didn't even knew if I needed glasses or not. Their focus is on selling. I did my research when I got home and apparently with the minimal level of astigmatism I have is not required to wear glasses even though that I was guided to do. Employees were friendly but they just follow the corporate script. Last but not least I tried to cancel my glasses order in less that 24 hours and is not allowed!!! Almost $ 200 wasted. So I will be stuck with glasses I really don't need yet. read more

Absolutely disappointed. Came in for my appointment and wanted the deal they had going. Spend good amount of time waiting and selecting which one which there isn't very many selections for the deal but found them. Then they took me in for exam and then my hearing aid battery died and now can't hear a thing. The lady that helped with exam was super nice. But afterwards, the lady in the store tells me I can't get this one pair and then I selected another one. Then tells me that my lens aren't in stock when I was told I can get my glasses today, otherwise I'd go somewhere else. Had to wait. So I asked for my money back and nope. If you are needing glasses DO NOT go to My Eyelab. I went there in November; two and half months later, two eye exams, three attempts to make the glasses and I still do not have what I paid for ... a pair of glasses that I can use. And when I asked for my money back the manager, Jarrid, refused. He said "it is not their policy" {evidently taking your money and not providing what you paid for is their policy). I was told that I could go to another eye doctor, get another exam and bring them the prescription and they would make the glasses from that. So I guess what he is telling me is that their eye exams are useless and I can be out more money because I shouldn't have gone there to begin with. Do yourself a favor go anywhere other than My Eyelab! Oh I gave a star only because it was required in order to post this review. This business does not deserve a star. read more

Broke my frames two days in a row. The guys here were so helpful and engaging. The service was super quick and efficient. They even helped me locate a nearby AutoZone, since I'm new to the area and there was lots of traffic at the time. They truly made a stressful two days and an embarrassing situation so much easier for me and I am so grateful. My Wednesday is looking a whole lot brighter! This will definitely be my new location and I certainly hope to work with these gentlemen again! read more

They honestly deserve 0 stars. Boyfriend went in for an eye check for glasses & contacts and they told him he was eligible for the "buy one get one free" promotion. Literally spoke to the MANAGER and the MANAGER entered in all of the information on these frames for him. Fast forward, he went by to check on the status of these two glasses bc he really needed them and turns out 1. He actually wasn't eligible for the bogo and 2. He was SOL on the second frame he really wanted. They already charged his insurance so there was nothing he could do. But of course they did :) huge scam. Lame company, WOULD NEVER recommend. My glasses were eaten by my dog. I contacted the call center abd they set me up for 545pm appt. I got their 2 minutes late due to horrible stop light back up. The gentleman there was rude. He said it is your responsibility to get here on time whether traffic or not. He said your dog eating you glasses doesn't matter. I tried to set up saturday appt. He said you know it takes several days to get glasses back. I then said the call center said you take my insurance so I will just get eye exam. He said we don't take your eye insurance. Took my daughter in law in there yesterday. Called before we went to make sure they took SoonerCare, didn't say anything about a copayment They had her fill out paperwork, did exam and then said that will be 25 co payment. I Didn't have 25 , so they than say they where calling the police, I waited for police outside,than I go back in tells me I have till friday before they file charges for theft of retail..this place was a joke.Maybe they should discuss payment before they rush you back there. read more

This establishment is extremely unprofessional and completely unorganized. They spent about 30 minutes retaking pictures of my eyes that weren't registering to the computer before realizing they didn't ask if I had any contact lenses in my eyes. A lady that had to come in to help the guy with the machines said "oh yeah, we're supposed to ask in the beginning, haha" never even looking me in the eyes when she spoke. I would give it a 0 star review if possible. It seems they have hired people who don't have any experience in optometry and don't really care much about their customers eye health. Once I went into the exam room that I assumed would be with a real doctor, there was a lady basically on a zoom call on the TV who was supposedly the eye doc. I was not informed that the interaction would be through video call on a tv. During the examination there was one instance I wasn't sure which letters I could see because the tv screen was overlapping the projected letters through my left eye. When I explained I wasn't sure and that the tv was overlapping making it difficult for me, the "Doctor" immediately acted annoyed raising her eyebrows and bobbing her head a bit while repeating the same question she already asked. Ignoring me basically. It almost embarrassed me because she made me feel at fault for not being able to see. I honestly wasn't sure if she was a real person or a robot for the majority of the exam until she blatantly showed her frustration in having to repeat a question. When I went into the last room with all the frames to choose from I spent about 15 minutes looking before the guy came over and made a half-ass attempt to help me find a pair. He then said I've "basically exhausted my options" since I had spent so long looking and pretty much just walked away. When I didn't choose any frames, I noticed my sample contacts and a paper with my prescriptions listed were on the table, without being greeted or even told that they were ready. I picked them up and basically said I think I'll wait for the frames, with no response I assumed I could just leave. I didn't get a goodbye and thank you. The sample contacts weren't labeled Right and Left, which I didn't notice until after I left the establishment. I had to call their customer service and have them look up my profile to figure out which was R and L. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had, I will never be returning and I advise that anybody considering going to this business take a hard pass. I would honestly say to go to eye mart express instead, that's where I always went before trying My Eyelab in OKC off of I-240. read more

Buyer beware... The demo glasses aren't anything like what you recieve once you get your order. They don't look or feel the same and the quality is lacking. They do not refund your money regardless of anything the website states or anything they tell you in the store. I was told by two different people I could return the frames for a refund minus the cost of the prescription lenses, but once I paid all the sudden it changed to we don't offer refunds on any custom orders. The corporate policy is a full refund within 30 days, but I was told they don't have to honor that policy either because they're a franchise location. So I'm out several hundreds of dollars for glasses I can't wear. One pair of glasses are too tight & the script is wrong. The second pair of glasses took forever to arrive and then when they did they are so big they fall off my face. They said they would exchange the glasses for another pair, but why would I want to do that when whatever I pick out in the store isn't going to be what actually arrives later? It feels exactly like a bait & switch. The most annoying part is I still have to go somewhere else to buy glasses! read more
