The salon was easy to find, parking was fairly easy, my appointment was on a Monday morning at 9. I thought it was going to be there for the majority of the day but to my surprise, everything was finished by 12pm. Being in a shop all alone can be a bit odd, especially on your wedding day, but Erin made the bride feel like she was in her hotel and providing some of the best conversations while she worked her skills. The end result was amazing and the style matched the brides' personality to the "T". As the photographer for the entire day, I saw how well the style held up in all the photos. That requires some skills, as we photos in Napa, Sacramento, and then back to Napa Valley all in the same day... and the shots at the end of the day looked just as good as the morning. Ladies, I would highly recommend coming here for blowouts or styles, no matter your hair type, the staff will get your right when you leave for whatever event you have.

The charm of the salon was nice and simple. I love the fact that they book one client for each person so it was only two of us in the building at a time. The products they used on my hair are amazing. The shampoo smelled great and had my hair feeling so clean! I also opted for color this time around so right now I'm happy with it. My hair is so straight! The flat iron lasted so nicely the last time which is why I came back. My appointment was for 2 hours. I was out the door immediately afterward with no delays. Unfortunately, because of a time zone issue in their booking system, the appointment was apparently entered as 12:00 PM instead. I use Square regularly in NYC and have never experienced this kind of confusion before. What made the situation especially frustrating was the complete lack of accommodation or understanding when I arrived. I was simply told the issue was noted somewhere on the website, but if this is a known problem, it should be made extremely clear and impossible to miss -- especially for out-of-town clients visiting Napa. They also stated they called me around noon, but I never received a phone call or missed call notification. The experience felt disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. Napa is known for hospitality and customer service, and sadly this business did not reflect that at all. I hope they improve both their booking communication and their willingness to work with customers when issues like this happen.

I have naturally dark hair and have had many balayages by her as well, none of which have caused any "frying" of my hair. It was hard for me to trust again. Ana the hairstylist at Salon 5 reassured me, that she would be able to fix my brassy orange hair. Not only did she fix my hair but she also transform my hair in to something that I've never had. My hair is Beautiful. She listen to everything I said that I wanted. My friends have gotten their curly hair cuts even before the diva and curly hair cuts were popular on social media. So I finally reached out and booked with Calise. She is so bubbly and comforting and makes you feel comfortable with her years of experience. I scheduled in advance for a Saturday appointment. The Tease Beauty Lounge was easy to find within a shopping center and has plenty of parking. Very nice and spacious and clean and sleek inside. She washed and conditioned my hair, was able to cut my hair and then was able to style my natural curly hair within an hour and wasn't too expensive. I can't wait to come back and see how my natural curls grow out!
