Absolutely disgusting place! I came in to eat lunch yesterday with my sister. As we are waiting for our order by the register I see a rodent run behind the trash can. The food is good, prices are fair. BUT... They always screw up your order. If you are not there to inspect them making it (i.e. you order for pick up or delivery), you will not get what you asked for. This happened to me 3 times already. The last time this happened I ordered: Falafel, pickles, tomato, chummus. The receipt said: Omelet, pickles, tomato chummus What came in: omelet, chummus not only did they get my order wrong but also got their version of my order wrong too? Ordered delivery, food came an hour and half later ( while I live on ave P ). Food was cold, the French fries order as side came the tiniest portion. Not ordering delivery again. I came in here with my boyfriend last weekend. The food looked good, so we looked at the menu for a couple of minutes to decide what we want. We had already noticed that none of the 4 people at the counter had greeted us, even though the place was pretty empty. A couple of them had been on the phone or packing orders so we didn't think much of it until we were prepared to order. We came up to the counter and looked expectantly at the server behind it, who glanced at us briefly and walked to the other side to fold a towel. The other 3 continued to look busy and ignore us completely. It was then that we realized that being in a predominantly Orthodox Jewish area, they didn't want to serve us! We are Jewish ourselves, but not religious and do not wear the traditional clothing, and it became abundantly clear that this was the reason we weren't being served. After being ignored for another appalling minute or two, we turned around and walked out. Discrimination of people who don't believe the same thing you do is disgusting and bad for business. My boyfriend and I went here last night, first of all you walk in there's no heat, it's absolutely freezing in there. Then when you go to place your order at the counter, the people barely speak English. Third of all, we sit down, we bite into our gyros, they were cold, the only thing that was hot that they served us was the French fries. I usually don't write reviews but I had to do write this one with the hope that the owner will read it. I Used to eat at this place on the weekly basis from the times when they just started right when they became my grill bar and stop being shawarma Avenue. The food has become so much better than what it used to be before. the shawarma is always juicy seasoned properly and flavorful. I placed an order about three months ago after coming back from work hungry it wasn't a big order around $25 but I order every week At least once. The guy on the phone asked for my phone number after I gave it to him he asked if my address is the one showing on his screen I told him it's the correct address.he told me it's gonna be around 45 minutes. After an hour and a half I called them back and they said that the delivery guy tried to call me and I didn't answer which was weird because I didn't have any unanswered calls. I asked the guy on the phone how is that possible. He told me to hold and than asked me for the number I gave him for the delivery.After I gave it to him he apologized and said he got one number wrong by mistake Which doesn't make sense at all because after I give him my number the details of my address popped up .Secondly you already have my address so why not calling the buzzer If you see the customer doesn't answer the phone like you claim? They left me hungry at midnight with no chance to order food from somewhere else.After this I haven't ordered from this restaurant for three months ,I decided to give them another chance today. I placed my order on the phone and they called me back after 5 minutes apologizing saying there is no personnel to deliver the food. The food is great but the service is a shame. You shouldn't allow kids to run a buisness without a good manager.(btw I've been managing great kosher restaurants for the past 10 years and currently managing now) Will never eat there again. read more

I'd have to say that this is my new favorite kosher restaurant. I came here with my boyfriend to eat because we wanted to try something new. He ordered the chicken shawarma on a thick doughy bread. Took a bite from his and it was just amazing. I ordered the falafel on a pita and not only was it filling, but it was tasty. The Tahini sauce is on point and so is the Amba. I am enthused about coming back here to eat. That was a very pleasant experience for me. Also, the staff seem to be very professional and friendly. read more

I ordered the other night two sandwiches, one lamb kebab on laffa and one falafel on laffa. My lamb sandwich was perfectly up to my expectations, although my father didn't care for his falafel. We asked for Israeli salad on the side, and they sent along a nice size container, which was very nice, at no additional charge. We wanted the sandwich on laffa, but it came on baguette instead. Grubhub thankfully refunded us and even gave us a credit, as the order came an hour after the estimated delivery time. read more

I rarely review, and I mean rarely. I had to do this though. When this place opened up, their customer service was pleasant. Their food was good. I've ordered from them on numerous occasions as I live close by. Today was perhaps the worst experience I've had with them. The man over the phone was not friendly and very rude, but fine..I can deal with that. Then the food comes (late), and the chicken fingers are as hard as a rock, the rice is undercooked, the baby chicken had bones in it, the 10 fries were oily and soggy, the Israeli salad was too chunky, and the hot dogs were..sad. But wait. No ketchup or sauces!! What?! I called to ask them why they didn't include the basics..c'mon. They tell me I had to request sauces, which in the past I never did, and the best thing..they tell me they ran out of ketchup! Is that even possible?! But wouldn't you advise your customer..hey, we know you're ordering hot dogs, fries, chicken fingers, and so on, but we have no ketchup. Would you like a substitute? They were absolutely rude about it and acted as if they were doing me a favor. I don't need their food, really, there are plenty of other places to eat at, which will be where I'll be going to from now on. Save yourself the money and eat somewhere of quality. It's sad that people like this are in the food industry. They should highly consider a different industry to work in...perhaps garbage removal..they can take out all of their aggression on the heavy lifting. Just saying. read more
