Turns out I had an extreme case of "oh my goodness your ears are so plugged up that we're going to be spending the next ninety minutes digging you out". Turns out I have a weird shaped ear canal that naturally clogs too much and was basically bordering on a medical emergency. They got me in last minute, too, which I really appreciated. Anyway the person who dug it out did a great job. She was very patient, very nice, and careful and diligent. I forgot her name, but you'll probably see her when you visit. I left with my hearing not just restored, but to the point where I was hearing my voice when I talked. The volume in my car was at 1/8 and it was loud. I finally stopped struggling with my hearing. Upon arrival, we were hit with a piercing noise....it was the fire alarm!!! The entire hospital and clinic had to evacuate! The fire department came to evaluate. Thankfully everything was fine and we were finally able to go into the building. I didn't want to leave since it's difficult to obtain an appointment because they are booked out pretty for a few months. The front desk was a little flustered due to the fire alarm interruption however they did the best as they could to get things back in order. It took longer to wait since everyone had to reorganize and start where they left off. After about 1 hour of waiting, Dr. Hilton came in. He is such a blessing!! He came in with such a great attitude and uplifted spirit despite the fact that he and the staff should have been heading home for the day. He took his time examining my mother in law and telling us exactly what needs to be done and explained things in a way we could understand. He was such a joy to speak with. He took time and was very thorough with all that he did. He was also very sweet and personable. One could tell that he really enjoys his job. We look forward to seeing him again for the results of what he recommended. If you need to find a great Doctor to take care of anything ENT, this would be the best place to go. The biggest issue is the wait time--every appointment I've had here has taken much longer than expected. It's frustrating when you show up on time and still end up waiting a long time to be seen. The waiting area also has a TV that's loud and constantly repeats the same content, which gets pretty annoying after a while. On the plus side, they do have a small children's area, which is helpful if you're bringing little ones along. The best part of this office by far is Dr. Hilton. He's fantastic--every visit, he takes the time to explain everything clearly and in a way that's easy to understand. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and wants them to feel informed and comfortable. If they could work on reducing the wait time and improving the waiting room experience, this place would be an easy five stars thanks to Dr. Hilton alone.

Had an 11 AM appointment; difficult to find parking at the Tenaya location. Tried calling to let them know I was running late and should have known from my past experience with calling them that they would not answer the phone. Arrived at 11:08 AM, filled out paperwork for over 30 minutes. The waiting room was packed, and about 8 people were outside the door on benches. Not a good sign. How many doctors do they have? Silly me, assumed I would be out of there by noon, lunch time, most offices do close for the lunch hour, I think. Anyway, I had a class at 1:30 PM and still needed to have lunch first, so I asked for my ID and Health card back. In the hour that I was in that waiting room, only one person left the waiting room after being called by a doctor or a nurse. Another woman had gone up to the desk and said she had been waiting 2 hours and would give them another 20 minutes or she would be gone. I should have known when I tried to set up an appointment that things were not right. I tried to make an appointment, put on hold only to be told they did not have my referral. I was returning their call, after they had received my referral. I was told I had to call my doctor to get a referral number. Of course that was another ridiculous attempt, being that a doctor never calls you back for 24 business hours or so, but I tried, then gave up on that. Then, Lubitz, etc. called me back again. Someone figured out I had a referral. VERY UNORGANIZED and seems like they OVER BOOK. Next time I will listen to my gut, if the phone conversations go badly, I will skip it. Next time I make an appointment anywhere I will always ask, how long will I be there? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
