Was very disappointed and wont be back. Went in and bought muffins to bring to a family member. The corn was dry.... So dry it was hard to swallow. The zucchini was tasteless and the outside was way over cooked. I would not recommend to anyone and will never purchase again. In addition, when eating the tables was sticky and the silverware was dirty. However, the part that got me the most was the food stacked up by the bathrooms. I saw that another time and thought oh maybe they just got a delivery but now I am thinking it's a common practice. Thinking the board of health would not be too happy with that!!!! Waited 20 minutes to get in, and upon being seated, waited another 50 minutes for food. The hostess should inform customers that there will be a long wait to eat once inside (they had two chefs working for upwards of 60 people). Please don't support this business. The owner Karyn & the staff repeatedly park in the only HC parking spot in the lot. I think it's disrespectful and unempathetic. I'm disabled & need the spot. I've been there when others in wheelchairs had to park far away because MKW vehicles were parked there. If they're able to carry heavy trays, they're able bodied enough to walk a few steps down. Yesterday this truck was in the spot for over 30 mins. It's been going on for years. I've requested for them to please move out of & not park in the HC spot. The Manager yesterday said that Karyn says it's fine to park there for loading. If you have a disability or know someone who might need a HC spot, please send a message with your wallet. Don't support a business who doesn't care about the handicapped. read more

Love: the coffee! (I didn't know about the bacon until after the fact.) Every great adventure starts with coffee and theirs does not disappoint! Bottomless cups and a side bar to fill up before you leave, you know the way to my heart. All great addictions have a voice louder than your ability to reason, and I must say their coffee has been calling my name since last Sunday! The day began with the rain tapering off as I arrived here shortly after 8 AM so I could get a table before the local church crowd let out and this place would be family-packed like sardines, of which I was told by a local. Perusing the menu the prices seemed very reasonable, as the local church goers started rolling in. I was greeted by Denise, whom I immediately tagged as a veteran server. A very pleasant girl who suggested the French toast. I exercised her option and the dish came out looking pretty healthy, with craisins, pumpkin seeds, accompanied with strawberry butter. A fresh limitless coffee hit the spot. Denise managed to come over a few more times to briefly discuss the food business in general. She mentioned the cafe has been open for 12 years. Holy cow what a breakfast! It was so good. The toast was crispy, the omelette was loaded, the veggies were fresh, the roasted potatoes were fantastic, the smoothie was SO good, and the strawberry butter was the best part! We were sat pretty quickly, even though they looked pretty full and were busy. It was our first time but the waitress was patient and answered any questions we had. Food is good, but with the additional seating outside, SLOW painful service. Waiting for over 45 minutes for eggs is a bummer.

Real shame! Not at all happy with my visit today. Place was not busy and stood waiting to be seated for several minutes. Once seated server came over and took drinks order and was prompt with them. We ordered our meals and enjoyed some conversation while waiting for food. Food came in a good time, but not delivered by our server but, by the other 'older and maybe not all together' server on duty. Asked if we needed anything and my wife asked for syrup, and I asked for ketchup. Neither was bought to our table, and no one checked on us until we were almost finished. As far as the food, Well, sigh, we used to come here often pre pandemic and always had great food, but this morning I would say it appeared and tasted like it was taken from a warming pan. The decor really is so cool with the vibe but we did not get good service. We were in what I deem was overflow seating next door at the juice bar and our waiter seemed to forget about us. Introduced my guy to this little gem. He enjoyed the visit as much as I always do. His Words"The Brookstick sandw was excellent ". The long wait was worth it. Service by Doreen was beyond satisfactory with her great recommendation of the Broomstick Hilde sandwich. Coffee is great and definitely like the option of the hazelnut brewed coffee. Probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a restaurant. Nice, simple space inside with fun witch-themed decorations, friendly staff, and great food make for a perfect experience. I went with the Eggs Bene-witch, which was two perfectly poached eggs on top of griddled olive bread and a bed of arugula. Instead of heavy hollandaise sauce, it came with their very tasty lemon artichoke spread, which I liked even more. Pair that with their fantastic breakfast potatoes, and I had an impressive meal. The spicy Peri-Peri sauce on the table was an added bonus and made their breakfast potatoes even better. I'll definitely be back - often. read more

I want to preface this review by saying that I've had a lot of great experiences at My Kitchen Witch. The food is great, the atmosphere is charming, and there are plenty of options for those with food allergies. That said, this morning I went to My Kitchen Witch and arguably received the some of most disrespectful service I have ever experienced. My two friends I are young, female working professionals in our early twenties. We waited outside the restaurant for about an hour while countless groups who had arrived either at the same time as us or later, were seated ahead of our group. When we finally got the attention of the hostess, we received no apology. Our waiter and the rest of the staff were incredibly flippant and unpleasant, and seemed to treat us as though we were children. After watching tables who had been sat after us receive their food before us, I asked our waiter about the status of our order. I don't think he expected me to be as straightforward as I was when I bluntly told him we had been waiting about an hour since being seated, and his response was an unapologetic: "I don't think it's been that long". For the remainder of our meal, the rest of the staff was extremely condescending and unhelpful. I cannot think of any other reason for such poor service other than that the staff assumed we were young and likely to be timid and accommodating. Watching the tables next to us that had arrived after us receive their food and pay their bills before we were even served, was incredibly frustrating. When our omelettes finally arrived, they were cold, and to be honest, I don't even remember how mine tasted because I was so annoyed. When I asked for hot sauce, our server gave me a HUGE attitude. My friends and I each have considerable experience in the food service industry, and we understand the importance of tipping. That said, we ended up paying our bill and leaving no tip because we were so disappointed. I think this is going to be the last time I go to My Kitchen Witch. The blatantly ageist treatment we received left my friends and me shocked and uncomfortable. I felt like telling our server something like, "we are paying customers, and you have no idea how much money we have, how old we are, or frankly, anything about our life accomplishments." I hope the staff views this review and puts some thought into how they treat their younger patrons. read more

Obviously from my reviews I love breakfast. I was fortunate enough to have the day off during the week with my husband and we had to try this place. I am guessing weekends are crazy in the summer, but Thursday was the perfect time. It was packed outside, so we ate inside. Normally I don't like super kitschy decor, but this worked with the theme. It was warm and inviting. The menu for breakfast was typical fare with a twist. Like previous posters mention, the bacon is amazing. Sweet and sticky but perfectly cooked. Omelette was fluffy and delicious. Oh and the biscuits were heavenly. Fresh squeezed juice is pricey, but delicious. Left off a star because the service could have been better. The "regulars" were obvious as the waitresses were chatting it up with them the entire time. Will be back, just probably not on a summer weekend. I have visited the Kitchen Witch Cafe & Market quite often when living in the area. I cannot say enough about the fantastic food ( great strawberry butter ) too ! You can purchase some to take home ! The staff is friendly & are happy to serve you that kind of family friendly type place. This past Friday evening we had the pleasure of going to their " Friday night only dinner ". We attended with another couple & found it the best night ever. The filet mignon was delicious & the staff made the evening a great night as they were very accommodating & pleasant. There are not many places around there similar to this place. They have everything from their signature thick cut bacon that is to die for literally, to wheatgrass shots, smoothies and even vegetarian and I believe vegan meals. Everything in their menu sounds good and their coffee is even great being served in multiple different roasts. All their on letters are good and the fresh squeezed orange juices and smoothies are the bomb. It's fun to come in the summer and sit outside but for sure a great local place that is more of a hidden gem.
