I've been coming to this place for years, it was just recently that I've noticed the female owners attitude is uneasy and moody, almost seems like she's miserable being there! This is the 3rd time my nails have looked bubbly and crooked . Their work has gone from good to horrific! If you ask them to fix it she has a attitude and is completely rude, slamming things down to let you know she's bothered! Go elsewhere and support businesses that love their job and are happy to make you feel and look beautiful! Note to owners: To have a successful business you must love what you do!!! Your clients feel your energy!!

Family owned business. Very friendly customer service. My friend brought me to this place, and it was definitely well worth it! We got the manicure and pedicure with some other stuff as well. They're very detailed orientated and careful when cutting your nails/cuticles. I have gone to horrible nail places who just leave you sore from the bad cuticle cutting, but my nails/skin were fine after coming here! They're also very good with sanitizing during this time with COVID. Definitely worth checking out! Lots of parking and also affordable. :)

Love love LOVE My Nails Place! Steven always does such a phenomenal job on my nails, fast, friendly, and my goodness that design is fire!!!

I've gone here for 2 years. Today I asked to please fix a monstrous job. my nails were fixed 5 times, but they just kept building - I have 8 coats of gel on one finger. I still paid and tipped 20% (I normally tip 25%), but I'm so sad and will need to get these fixed at another salon asap, obviously. I asked the guy on the way out if they looked nice and even he agreed they did not. I will gar rating because I don't want to ruin anyone's business, but this is completely unacceptable.

Very attentive, always answer my calls and have always been available to see me within 5 minutes! Typically will just go in for basic pedicure and manicure with no polish. Such great prices and service. Got a gel polish manicure for my last visit, and they did exactly what I asked for (taking my shorter nails into account). Couldn't ask for more from a nail salon!

Post Quarantine - no more than 2 clients when I went in. Asked me to pick a color and directed me to a seat. Noticed they had a mobile plexiglass I used as a barrier when pedicure is on process. Also the manicurist is using a face shield.. Spacious seating was assigned. They also wipe down the plexiglass and the chairs. Gel Mani and Pedi was great. No pinches or cuts experience..it always happens at a new place I go to, but not here. *crossing fingers* it doesn't happen next time. Friendly staff, plenty of color options and most of all I felt safe and secured while getting pampered.

First time here and Lily did my nails. I even tipped well because she was patient and polite. However, the gel is starting to crack/tear/peak after just 3 days and there's still gel over my skin--The sides of my nails weren't completely painted either. Such an inviting and roomy nail shop! There's plenty of nail polishes to choose from including Essie and OPI. First off, a spa mani/pedi for 27 dollars is a steal! There is six massage chairs here and four mani stations. The spa chairs are clean and functional and I love that it's not worn out. They give you a slight massage with your mani/pedi and include a hot stone for our feet, but I didn't get to enjoy it. I honestly wanted to like this place but I felt so rushed. Maybe because they had appointments that came early and they were understaffed, but ugh I'm so disappointed. Kim, who did my nails was really sweet but I didn't want to ask her to redo my nails because the people waiting for their appointment seemed impatient and I didn't want to look like a burden. Besides the experience, it's worth a shot for others. Maybe I came on an off day but I'm honestly not sure if I'd come back again.

I was initially going to give them 3-4 stars thinking, they didn't do a bad job, it just wasn't a great job. But the more I thought about it and the more I saw my nails, definitely don't like this place. I'm still raging because they placed an acrylic crooked and my nail looks so bad. I told the guy and he filed the sides down a little and said it looked better, but my nail is still crooked. My nail polish chipped literally 2 hours after getting my mails done, they didn't do a thorough job of applying nail polish over. They're super slow and the place is not that clean. The girl thought I was poor or didn't know about nails or some thing but anytime I asked a question about something she'd start with "that would cost you &5, that would cost you $10." I had gel polish on before I went in and the guy was taking it out (also the gel removal plastic cone was really dusty, made me uncomfortable) the lady walked up and said "gel removal is another $5, so total is $30 for you." People already know removing gel costs. My friend was not too happy with her service either. The manicurist totally forgot to put acrylics on an entire finger (for her and me) and o had to be like hey you missed that finger. Honestly don't go here. My nails look so bad and it's been only a week since I got them. AND I HAVE A CROOKED NAIL!!! Aahhh

This is an average to below average nail salon. If you want top of the trend designs I would not recommend this place for you. They can do basic things. They do not charge a lot and could be one of the pros. Their techniques are outdated. I would only come when I am desperate since booking is easy at this place. Customer service is not good side either. They don't really want to please their customers. One time to remove gel pedi, the technician tried to wrap my whole foot in foil and dump acetone soaked cotton. It would do the job but all my toes would get soaked in acetone and I don't think it's necessary. It's just a quick careless approach. The salon smells like chemicals and this might be a contributing factor. read more

I am absolutely obsessed with my nail design artist! Her name is NINA! I can't say enough good things about her. . I wish I had posted pictures of all the wonderful designs she has done for me this whole year!!! I sure will share all of them from now on so you can get wonderful ideas. :) She is sooooo patient with my extreme detail orientated and indecisive personality! Whereever she goes I will go! I'm usually the person who does her own manicures but I've definitely found a place that makes me want to come back. It's mostly because of Nina I enjoy my experience. She is very sweet and does a very efficient manicure. I got my very first gel color with her and fell in love. She recently designed Disney art for my nails and they are beautiful! I'm struggling with this rating because I want to give this place a 4star but the fact that I broke two nails, on separate non-extraneous occasions, only 3 days after getting them done, is what's preventing me. Anyway I came in for the first time last Wednesday, maybe around 3 pm and I was the only one there, which is always good, but more people did end up coming in after they got started with me. I'm sad I forgot the name of the lady who did my pedicure because she was so sweet and helpful. She did a great job, and even took her time to try to create a yellow mustard tone for my nails; unfortunately the mixing of two different yellows didn't work so I chose this blue instead, which is still beautiful. Michelle, whose name I remember because it's the same as mine :), did my nails. She was also, sweet and helpful, and did a beautiful job. Sadly, however 3 days pass, and I'm missing two nails. I was out of town and I didn't have time to go to a nail shop, so my friend convinced me to glue them back on, tacky, I know, but it did the job lol. Anyway other than that, I would probably give this place another try if I'm ever in the neighborhood again. The length I got was a little longer than I usually get so I don't know if that's the cause...? read more

This place is GREAT. I got gel removed, a new acrylic set and my toes done. Stephen did an amazing job on my acrylics! He pays attention to detail, fast and gentle. He was also not bothered when I accidentally bumped my wet nail. He just fixed it and moved on. Lisa did amazing on my toes and was extremely gentle! I will definitely come back. I would totally recommend this place. I have been searching for a place near where I live to get my nails done for awhile now. I decided to give this place a try and found Michelle she did an awesome job!! I like the coffin shape style and not everyone can do it. All of the other places I went to always made them thick looking or the shape is not even coffin at all.. I'm very picky, and Michelle gave me exactly what I wanted. One of the things I look for when I get a pedicure is extra warm water. Unfortunately I was pored cool water and politely asked to get warmer water, they re ran it but it still was on the Luke warm side, I also love the massage chairs and being able to control my massage and my nail lady insisted on picking my setting so it wasn't as enjoyable. Also my boyfriend got his nails buffed upon recommendation without being informed it was $5 more. There were two of the cutest girls in the nail spa, which is... Overall the ambiance was very cute with a pond and the staff was nice. read more

Can't say enough good things about Nina and My Nail Place! I made a promise to my 4 year old granddaughter I would send her a picture every time I get my nails done. I do and she always loves them (and believe me, she's a pretty tough critic)! I also play in a LARP (live action role play)with my fiancee and 16 year son once a month where we fight zombies, monsters and all sorts of things that go bump in the night (think dungeons and dragons meets walking dead 100 years after the Apocalypse- no fairy creatures/more scary creatures. It's called Dystopia Rising and it's a Blast! If you're interested in learning more about it, hit me up at danigalsd@gmail.com) Anyway, I personally fight with a 3 foot sword and Nina does such a fantastic job on my nails, I've NEVER had a single nails come off during a game (Friday night-Sunday afternoon) or during any time I'm sparring with my boys or at a fighter practice. And trust me, I put them to the test. I don't know how Nina does it but she can take her brush and gel nails magic powder out and form my nails so perfectly, they're practically done- okay, so maybe the part about being almost done is a little bit of an exaggeration, but that's truly how it feels. Pink nail is a hidden Gem in the city of Torrance. The salon is located inside a hair salon named: Wonder hair salon. Pinknail consist of two people, Gema and her assistant and both are talented and always very busy so I would strongly suggest to call and book an appointment vs. walking in. Customer service is always great! you're greeted with a smile and they completely take their time with their work, I never feel like their rushed. My go-to girl is Gema, as you can see from the photo I posted her work is precise and incredibly talented. The only reason I didn't give my review a 5th star is because they skip the massage along with a warm towel as it's traditionally done in other nail spas but perhaps the reason they do this it's because it's only the two of them and their quality work speaks volumes, so I don't mind it too much but I wish it was included. Any who, the parking is convenient and the salon is pretty mellow and quiet. They only accept cash. Once you experience a service at this place I can almost guarantee you that you will become a regular customer like myself. read more

Came here to get a fill and pedi, I didn't have a appointment and they took me immediately. Everyone was very nice and the place was clean. My only complaint was prices and that when I got the pedi she cut me a few times with the pumice stone and now I have a few very small and irritating cuts on my feet. Probably won't go back. I have been here twice and each time I have had an amazing experience. Nina does my nails and my toes. The gel manicure lasted almost 3 weeks, that has never happened before. My nails always chip the next day. Its not expensive at all. I would highly recommend this shop. read more

Experience was most unpleasant and painful. The lady used a thread that was a lot finer and sharper causing to leave marks and minimal blood.. The threading was so bad that you can see halve of the hairs stuck, they look like open pores now. In addition, I asked for a clean only for the eyebrow, yet she took more, shortened them and removed too much from the top. She left so many hairs for my li threading that I have to now pluck. Missed so many spots and failed to communicate, did what ever she wanted. The same quick way I was referred here, it is the same quick way that I will not return or recommend. Not cool!

Okay so I've been coming for years now. I know. Years. I literally know everybody from here and they're like my family. I come here and get my mani's done but I also come here to hang out with the girls. I've seen this place from its lowest state to highest. Everybody here loves me, and every time I come here and get my nails done, they always choose for me the best style. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Steven, Kathy, Nina, Rose, Lisa, Kim, Karen and My Nails Place. You guys are everything to me! I can't say thank you enough to Lilly and the salon! after living with serious pain for two months I finally trusted my wife to go visit Lilly to help me with an ingrown toenail on my big toe. not only was it a pain free experience she gave wonderful advice and has a heart of gold ! I would recommend the salon and Lilly to anybody that needs help with their toes or a bad ingrown toenail. 25 stars to Lilly absolutely grateful for what she did for me I can never thank her enough and I hope people that read this and don't wait two months before believing their wives and go straight in to see Lilly!!! read more

I was totally amazed at the friendly staff, the funky thatched roof (inside) and atmosphere. Michelle gave me the best french manicure I've ever had and Rose did the same for my toes. I was in and out in an hour. The prices were very reasonable and I will definitely be going back. Now when I return home (Santa Rosa) I will be changing my nail salon due to the great job these folks do. But I spend time in Redondo every few months so now have a mani-family to look forward to "fixing me up." read more

She was in a hurry and said she didn't have time in a not friendly way. So I didn't want to check my nails and ask her to redo any. Tools were not pulled out of a plastic sheet, when I asked if they autoclave she said yes and kept looking down. But she just pulled them out of a wet fluid, so I'm not sure. Hope I don't get fungus under my nails. I'm used to places opening a packet in front of you and the tools are dry and sealed. Reading other reviews here, I'm nervous that I should've paid closer attention to the condition of the buffer and such. I won't be returning as she wasn't friendly and they don't look smooth and even. After paying $65-70, I should've just done them myself. The hot stones massage on pedicure was nice and massage. But for painting, needs improvement.

I've never experienced any pain with my pedicures, which is something I would notice at other nail salons unfortunately. They offer you a beverage when you get there. The prices are very reasonable compared to other nail shops I have gone to. They do not charge extra to remove my gel polish to apply a new coat of gel. That was something that I would see at nail salons that tacked onto the price. Gel is an extra $15 on top of any service. The place is clean, cute and on the smaller end. It's never usually busy when I go, but I always like to call and make and appointment. They offer a 10% discount for first time clients. And for a Yelp review they offer a 5% discount! Cash is king for them, although they have Zelle options as well as the square card kiosk for cards. It's a hole in the wall for sure and I wish more people knew about this place!!
