Delicious! We got a strawberry krunch concha ice cream (~$9), mazapan concha (~$4) and Dubai chocolate concha(~$6). All three were delicious and I can't wait to try more. It's not cheap for sure but it was very yummy. Can't wait to go back to try all the other flavors. The guy that was helping was very nice and patient. Negative 100000/10 Went into get the strawberry dubai choco cup. Per the videos it looked creamy and amazing. When he handed me the cup there was hardly any chocolate & it was so so dry! so i went back in and asked for more chocolate. By the time i got home it was so thick and all stuck together. I wonder if anyone that works here has actually tasted a Dubai chocolate bar or a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup? I love the potato tacos and chilaquiles and conchas, but literally had to force myself to not spit out this concoction. Salty and burnt knahef, rock hard pistachio icing(?)... gross. I don't mean to make a bad review, but I just encourage someone who works there to try a strawberry cup from Boba Boba in Brea so you can alter your recipe and make more $$. Small store located inside Loaded Cafe in Placentia. I was a bit confused when I arrived, but I was led inside by a very nice waitress from the restaurant. The location is clean and well lit. I was helped right away by an older gentleman that was very nice and knowledgeable. I was there for the bolillos which they came out hot and so yummy! If you're in the area make sure to stop by. This is my go to bakery for all things pan dulce and cafecito!! The conchas are always fresh and warm with the perfect amount of sweetness and the variety of flavors are unmatched! They have lots of cookie and coffee options and they're all delicious as well. What really sold me though was the service. Each person has always been so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu along with being super sweet and helping me take any large orders to my car. I'll be a returning customer for sure! read more

We frequent this location and so far has been satisfied with the service and of course the pan speaks for itself. I stopped by today after work and the place was empty. There was one customer ahead of me, appears to have a fruit drink being prepared by one female staff. The other staff (male) assisted me, took my order, had gloves on, touched the register, open 2 to 3 different oven/proofer door, pulled trays in and out, put away the mess that the female staff had left on the counter after making the drink for another customer, which she should have cleaned up herself. Then proceeded to fill my order with the same glove! I'm sure multiple health code violations were violated. I just would like this establishment to maybe train their staff more about proper food handling. Especially when customers can see how the orders are being prepared. People can get seriously ill. I ended up throwing my order away. There is a lot of room for improvement and hopefully this review helps. read more

I have a huge sweet tooth and was excited about visiting but I was so disappointed. I got the Dubai chocolate cup and it was SO dry. The chocolate was clumped up, the strawberries were soggy and the pistachio cream was not good at all. For $15? That was a fail, I ended up throwing it away. I got a slice of cake as well, it was okay, the slice was so small though. I also got some of their prepackaged cookies (my fave type of cookie) and they were not what I expected. Customer service is usually very good but not sure what's going on with the cook that's making these conchas. When they first opened they were made very well and always fresh but my last couple of visits they were not fresh and I usually buy the mini conchas but they're not even conchas anymore. Lately it's like I'm paying 18.00 for a dozen cookies. They gotta get it together if they want 5 stars and I only gave 3 because customer service had always been quick and polite. read more

My husband stopped in to purchase the pan dulce for the office. The first thing he mentioned was how awkward it was for the employees to be bickering while he waited to be greeted. Bad first impression especially when the restaurant only had two parties and he was the only one in line. As for the pan dulce, it was very tasty and fresh. We ordered a mixed box and my fave thusfar is the churro flavor! Location is in a quiet area of Placentia but if you are in the area My Panecito is worth a try. When we were seated and placed drink orders, it took almost after we got our food to get the remainder of the drinks out. The portions were somewhat small for the price and the servers were inattentive. The manager ended up bringing the remaining items out probably once he found out the servers were still taking their time getting our orders out.
