My husband and me went here the day before Valentine's Day for a date lunch. I haven't done omakase style before, so I really wanted to try it. For the uninitiated, omakase is when the chef makes your sushi, piece by piece and serves it to you to experience, one at a time. They also take the time to explain exactly what you're getting - the sauce, the type of fish, the garnishes, etc. This is not your - pour a bunch of soy and wasabi in a small dish and dunk experience. It's elevated, but not stuffy. They also do regular pieces of sushi and hand rolls, as well as some unique appetizers. The chef told me the sauce for their popcorn Hamachi appetizer literally is made from the popcorn from the shop next door. I love that they integrate the setting into the experience. I really wanted to try their omakase experience. They offer 2 versions - one is 10 piece and the other is 14 pieces. They both also come with a handroll and hot miso soup, either at the beginning or end of your meal. Our chefs for the day were Austin and Daniel. Their warm personalities and willingness to answer all my questions made the lunch so much fun. Austin encouraged us to eat with our fingers and provided a wet wipe for in between pieces. The sushi rice was perfectly warm and the fish was melt in your mouth amazing! All the little touches, sauces and garnishes were so perfectly subtle and balanced. It was truly one of the best meals we've had in years. My personal favorite piece was the scallop, lightly seared, slightly spicey and melt in your mouth - just simply amazing. They only have 8 or 9 seats, so you pretty much need reservations. We made ours through Open Table a few days ahead of time. They allow 90 minutes for a seating, so you have plenty of time to dine and experience the food. If they do have openings, you can scan the QR Code on the board next to the counter and get on the list. They also have a QR code so you can order drinks directly from Crooked Can Brewery to go along with your meal. The restaurant itself has sodas, water, etc. I had bought a Pineapple cider from Crooked Can before we sat down and enjoyed it with our meal. We plan to go back with our friends again soon. The 10 piece omakase was $70, which we felt was well worth the money for the quality of the food and the experience. I really can't wait to go back.

An 8-seat sushi counter within a food hall, but don't be fooled. You'll dive into your own world the minute you sit down, as you can customize your entire experience. One of the best omakase experiences I've ever had. I started off with the tuna carpaccio and enjoyed every ingredient. I then went on to the colossal shrimp aburi, which was briefly torched. Gave it a slightly smoky finish. From the presentation, to the quality of the food, there's a reason they have a Michelin Bib. I will definitely be returning.

I love sushi and have heard so many good things about this place. I've been wanting to try it, me and my friend finally went to Winter Garden to try it out. It's inside the Plant Street Market food hall. Make sure you have a reservation! The food hall is pretty busy with people passing behind you and there's only a few seats at this place. I've tried a lot of sushi and I can confidently say that this is hands down the best I've ever tried. Very fresh tasting and good quality fish. We loved all the sushi we tried here but the Salmon and Wagyu were amazing. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of the sushi you order here. I will say the miso soup here is good but I've had better. If you love sushi you need to come try this place out! I definitely will be coming back here.

One of the best omakase experiences I've had in Florida. For $68, you get 10 courses and a miso soup. My friend got tier 2 more omakase option where you get 14 courses for $108. The fish was really fresh and some of the cuts were flown in from Japan. My friends and I weren't fans of the mustard seed and Cajun mayo flavors. Our chef was knowledgeable of each of the cuts of fish. I really enjoyed the overall experience considering you can order beverages from the brewery and have someone bring them to you. The restaurant itself is a sushi stand with a couple of seats. I'd recommend making reservations in advance.

A great omakase experienced tucked in a lively food hall. I finally got around to trying Norigami and it definitely didn't disappoint. We ordered the 10 piece omakase. Everything was delicious -- our favorites were the threeline grunt (isaki) and the toro. We appreciated how each piece was clearly curated to emphasize the taste. The chefs were very friendly. Be sure to make a reservation online before coming! Many people walked up expecting to be seated but they were booked up for the day.

Such an amazing omakase experience! You can't beat the price, quality of the fish, flavor combinations, and awesome staff! Our chef, David, was so funny and made sure that we had a special time celebrating my boyfriend's birthday! He gave him extra free nigiris and took great care of us! I HIGHLY recommend the popcorn hamachi and toro carpaccio. I should've gotten one of each for myself! My favorite nigiris were the king salmon with truffle cream and miso sauce and akami with mustard seed. The Tier 2 More Omakase is definitely worth the price. I loved all of the little decorations they had on the sushi counter. You could tell that everything was very intentional from the the food to the ambiance. We will definitely be back!

An absolute must-try for sushi and omakase lovers! Located inside of Plant Street Market is one of the best sushi hotspots in Orlando. Norigami's stall is intimate, fresh, and soooo worth it. Everything is delicious -- in particular, their scallop is the one of the best I've ever tasted. Their preparation of white fish is also amazing; honestly, it beats out their toro for me. Idk what they do, but it literally melts in your mouth and has such a rich flavor. Service is attentive and friendly! I really like chatting with the chefs, and they're all fantastic. They don't provide any beverages though; any drinks you order come from the Crooked Can Brewery located inside the market. The value of their omakase is honestly one of the best and I try to make a reservation here everytime I'm in Winter Garden.

Phenomenal. Literally the most memorable and intricately prepared sushi I've ever experienced. Yes, it can be challenging to get a seat. Yes, it is expensive. But damn it is it all so magically worth the money and wait to savor their meticulously crafted and palette pleasing sushi. I recommend doing the omakase (chef's tasting) as well as the popcorn hamachi. Order some sake from the QR code and you're in for a heavenly experience.

I love this place. The chefs are amazing. Everything is so fresh and it's definitely one of the best places to get sushi in Orlando area. The only thing is sushi is so small so you probably going to have to spend a lot in order to be satisfied. I would love to come back!

I always have a great experience at Norigami. My son wanted to come here for lunch. It is his favorite spot in town for omakase. I made the reservation few days prior and didn't have issues. We ordered the fish collar plus omakase. This time I did the 10pc omakase and my son did the more omakase which was 14pc. What made this visit different from others is that we got a whole little squid piece with our set. It was interesting. Everything was delicious as usual and their service is always great!

This omakase experience is incredible and I cannot wait to go back and take more people to try it. We did the larger portion, which seems like a lot, but ultimately I didn't leave as stuffed as I had anticipated. There is a very small counter space for service, if you don't want to be disappointed, be sure to make a reservation before you go, trust me, it's worth it. Be sure to start with an appetizer, I know it feels like overkill, but they are incredible and different than things I've had at other locations. I'm not sure I had a favorite piece of sushi, there were so many good ones that I don't think I can choose. I promise the entire experience, the food and the chef, are well worth the price, the parking, and the reservation. I can't wait to go back and try it again.

This Michelin-recognized sushi bar has some of the best sashimi & nigiri I have ever had - I consider it up there with restaurants in NYC, Seattle, and DC. Not only is the quality of the fish excellent, the flavors are uniquely put together and obviously created with love. We had the 14-piece omakase (favorites: king salmon, uni, shimaji) and 2 appetizers (toro carpaccio & popcorn hamachi) and were floored by the pairings of texture, savoriness, spice, & acidity. I haven't tasted anything like this - scientific and artful at the same time. Service was attentive and descriptive and made us feel welcome. They asked if we were here for a special occasion (we were) and gave us a free piece of nigiri of our choice! As for ambiance, it is a small bar (8 seats) located inside Plant Street Market. It's a busy place, so it was difficult to hear the sushi chefs' explanations at times. Overall, the space was clean and well-decorated. I will be taking my parents and siblings here in the future so they can experience the sheer wonder and joy that I did! TIPS: Reserve far in advance and notify of allergies at least 1 day before!

This was one of the best omakase experiences I have ever had. Not only was it inexpensive, but the chef was so nice and friendly, the fish tasted beyond fresh and tasty, and it was super laid back. The Chef had no problems accommodating my having Celiac Disease. I was abke to eat here and I didn't experience any issues with cross contamination and I am extremely sensitive to gluten. I had a good range of items during my omakase and none of them were just a vegetable item. Every single one was a delicious perfectly cut piece of fish. The miso soup is also gluten-free and comes with the omakase. You can order straight from the menu or do the omakase which is under 70$ I would highly recommend this restaurant and it was about 10 courses. It's located in the market or food hall so parking can be a little packed depending on the day you go, but it is worth it.

Another staff member (I failed to catch his name unfortunately) also gave us great suggestions and information on the restaurant. They were both very knowledgeable of the menu and even where the ingredients were sourced. They were both outstanding. We got the truffle edamame (outstanding), the Mucca di Mare appetizer (unexpectedly perfect, no sauce, wasabi, or ginger needed), the Ceviche roll (so fresh and bright) and the Ultimate Salmon roll (salmon, prosciutto, brie cheese, and more?! Count me in!) The fish was so fresh, it had no fish flavor or scent at all. It was perfect. The rolls were innovative and balanced in flavor. I have no feedback other than these were possibly the best rolls I've had in the Orlando area. We also had the Alaska Cake for dessert. It was very light and refreshing. It wasn't overwhelming or huge. It was the perfect end to a meal. And for my birthday, they even put a candle in it for me! Their birthday surprise was also unexpected and a delight.
