    French Toast Gourmand

Again, I had a great experience! No wait to be seated, quick to be served with beverages and food. The menu is small but it is big enough to try different dishes. Today I had the French Toast Gourmand. I ate it within 5 minutes because it was that AMAZING! You can tell that extra care was taken to serve this masterpiece. You are missing out if you don't check this place out!

My husband has been trying to make me like French toast for about 3 years lol this is the only place that got my approval for the so famous French toast, and now I can happily say that I LOVE IT!!! I just wish they could open a location in DC so I could have them for breakfast everyday lol The French onion soup was also to die for and I would have it over and over again! I also got macaroons which they make it from scratch and I'm expecting it will be just like the ones in France!! They have vanilla, chocolate, pistachio, berries, raspberry, coffee, caramel and hazelnut! The owners were supper nice and helpful :) there's not a single bad thing about this place, I'm very impressed! There's defiantly a reason it's a 5

Croque Monsieur Tartine and brunch french toast

Wow what a brunch! Their food is absolutely incredible. The dining room is small and not the most amazing ambience but you won't even care once you take a bite of anything they serve. The server was a champ, handling all 6 tables in the dining room efficiently. The owner, I assume, checks in on every table and seems like she genuinely cares about the customer's experience. I can't even put into words how good the french toast is. It's creamy, rich and just the right amount of sweet. The Croque monsieur had crispy corners, a not overpowering rich béchamel and was so satisfying. While there I couldn't help but notice their retail wine selection. They had a bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape that was carried by a restaurant that I worked in in nyc that I haven't seen here before. My compliments, please keep doing what you do!

The food is on par with restaurants in St. Bart. The staff and owners are very nice and pleasant. They also offer cooking classes for $55-$65 per person. Photo: Chicken Crepes and Ham Quiche

The owner is super nice! The sweets are to die for... everything they make is excellent and very authentic, very traditional. I'm really happy my boyfriend found My Sweet Art, really nice place to have brunch at. I love everything from this little place.

Eifel Tower overlooking the open kitchen and tables

My Sweet Art has been on my radar screen for two months since they open in May, 2017. This is a French, breakfast, brunch and lunch café by a husband and wife team, Yveline Mauclerc and Eric Perez on a former Nelly's Taste of Greece off Nicholas Parkway and Pine Island Road in Cape Coral. As you walk in, you notice a large mural of Eiffel Tower on the right wall with some shelves overlooking the open kitchen. It has only six tables with several bar stools. The other walls simply have several paintings with Parisian themes. The waitress is super friendly and sweet. They have the Italian Quiche as the special of the day. However, I opted the Quiche Lorraine with a cup of coffee for lunch. The cheese and smoked ham blended in very well. It is creamy and tasty with a side of salad and balsamic vinaigrette. This is the best quiche in Florida I ever have. It is that good! Yveline greeted the patroons at every table. That has a friendly and nice touch to My Sweet Art! Looking at the display case with macarons, Madeleine cookies, tartlets, cheesecake and other goodie make me plan to come back to taste their pastries. The service is excellent, food is great and price is reasonable. Highly recommended and definitely will be back!

The bistro was bustling with full tables. The place has a great vibe and is comfortable and very pleasantly decorated. It reminded us of some of the places we frequented when we lived in Paris. The owner is French as was our waitress, Angelika. We shared two orders of Escargots which were excellent. Salads were served between the courses as a palette cleanser. And then on to two Boeuf Bourguignons for the ladies. My friend had a medium-rare Filet de Boeuf and I had a Canard a l'Orange (one of my favorite dishes) also medium-rare. Each of the dishes was exceptional. For drinks we had sparkling water and a decent house Pinot Noir. My friend took a nonalcoholic wine and a beer. We ended up with an excellent Lemon Cream and I had to have an espresso. The meal was expensive ($332 to which I added a $70 tip) but it was all well worth it. We were visiting from the Boston area, and if we lived in the vicinity we would undoubtedly be regular patrons. I seldom give a restaurant five stars but this one deserves it. I will recommend highly the place. It was one of the best French meals and restaurants at which we have dined in the States.

By far best restaurant in Captiva or Sanibel, food is fresh, staff so friendly, helpful. Must do!read more

What a terrible experience to look and see the fabulous people that run this business have closed up shop. I had the pleasure five years ago to experience the best Lobster Roll I have ever eaten while visiting Celebration Park. Now that is saying a lot as previously I was told that Legal Seafood in Boston would be the best I would ever eat. Fortunate while living in the Northeast I was able to indulge in a few Lobster Rolls. I must admit that at the time Woodmans in Essex, MA was actually getting the top award. That was until I had the opportunity to eat the fabulous Great Foodini option. If anyone knows the owners please contact them and tell them they are most definitely missed. When I visited the menu was EPIC for a Food Truck. Hence the reason I wanted to give the referral for Wedding Reception. If I was getting married I would want to hire them. Honestly that was the plan. However, plans change. Hopefully they will decide to make the move back from Ft Meyers and reopen someday at the new and improved facilities at Celebration Park.
