We had a few spots close over the pandemic, so hearing we were getting a new thai restaurant in town had me super excited. This is one of the few that actually let you order online too (man technology is great). The food was ready promptly by the pickup time and still super warm by time i made it home. I ordered the wonton soup, the dumplings, and the spicy fried rice. Nothing disappointed at all! I know a lot of places will go for quantity over quality but this spot has it just right.. I stopped in for my first time because I happened to be doing laundry next door. I only ordered a few appetizers but felt compelled to write a review because of the great quality, taste and freshness. Both the fresh summer rolls and the curry puffs were delicious! I live in Brunswick and was craving authentic Thai, my go-to place was close so my friends and I decided to try this new place we stumbled upon...and wow were we impressed!! I ordered the chicken larb kai, I asked for it to be 4/5 stars. It was so perfect! Good size portions, lots of herbs and spices and I was even given extra hot sauce and pepper flakes! I believe it was the wife cooking, what a sweet lady! She packed us fried bananas and honey for dessert! Delicious. I am so happy we discovered this gem! My friends ordered the summer roll, broccoli and mixed vegetable entree. They said it was the best they have had. We were looking forward to giving this place a try. Walked in and no one was there to greet us. The place was empty at 12:30pm on a Thursday. Sat at a table and still no one. There was an overpowering air freshener smell and a blaring radio competing with someone speaking in what we assumed to be Thai. We searched for the source of the sound and found an unattended cellphone lying on a sofa in the restaurant. Still no one appeared to serve us. Waited a few more minutes and then walked out. This is the most disgusting food I have ever purchased. we spent $75 on meals for the family and threw all of it away. When I called to let them know that the food was bland and full of water (take out) all we got was a negative attitude with no apology. They were open, we gave it a shot on Monday night. Friendly on the phone, fast prep, and a respectable interior. I was optimistic. Sad to report the food was disappointing: we ordered curries, one medium spiced the other mild. Both were the same level of tastelessness. The vegetables were either underdone (as in crunchy potatoes)or less than fresh (as in sour mushy pumpkin pieces that tasted like leftovers from last months Jack o lanterns). We also asked for brown rice and they gave us one white and one brown. Plus it was expensive. $40 including tip for two curries with chicken and a summer roll. If this restaurant wants to stay in business it needs to take a hard look at the quality of their ingredients as well as be more attentive with cooking time. Being fast and efficient on food prep should not be more important than the end product. read more

My family basically had to throw away $75 dollars worth of food. The crab rangoons wrappers were greasy and over cooked, and had barely any filling. The pad Thai noodles were mushy and inedible. The sesame chicken had zero taste and maybe two sesame seeds. We were very disappointed. read more

Fantastic! My husband and I went early on a Friday night. The owner waited on us, started off with some delicious tea. She gave us each a complimentary bowl of soup. From there, we ordered the appetizer sampler. Everything was golden and done to perfection. The dipping sauces were also amazing, full of flavor. We then opted for the house special, Orange Chicken. So, this was unlike any orange chicken we've had in the past. It was not the sickly sweet sauce, rather a very light, fresh (I swear you could taste the fresh orange in there), and flavorful. Again, often times, veggies are cooked to mush and unrecognizable. This was not the case. Veggies were fresh, and like everything else with our meal, flavorful. I have ordered from here twice and have mixed reviews. The chicken satay was meaty and delicious, as were the shrimp wraps. The crab rangoon tasted a bit off, but it might have been the oil and not the filling. I had ordered summer rolls, but got the fried spring rolls....I was disappointed, but they were yummy. I got the Massaman Curry, which I liked, but it wasn't spectacular. My partner didn't like the Pad See Ew and I did not like the Pad Thai at all. It was flavorless and disappointing. I ended up throwing the entire thing away because it was so bland it was inedible. I think some things are good, but so far the noodle dishes are a disappointment. Will keep trying other things and hopefully over time they develop some stronger flavors. read more

I've ordered from here twice now and have mixed feelings as things have been very hit or miss. The first time I ordered the crispy pad thai with chicken (medium spice) and the house fried rice. While I would give the fried rice 5 out of 5 stars, I can't say the same about the crispy pad thai. It lacked flavor and the spice wasn't added in. I was instead given a small cup containing some sriracha on the side. While I thought this was odd and slightly inconvenient, I was willing to give them a second chance knowing this is a newer business and these are strange times. The second time I ordered spicy pad thai with chicken (medium spice), pad see ew with chicken, and crab ragoons. I was really hoping things would be better, but was unfortunately disappointed again. The pad thai was spicy this time, but still lacked a depth of flavor that I've experienced eating at other establishments. This time I received a small container of red pepper flakes on the side. The noodles were also overdone and slightly mushy. The pad see ew wasn't much better, lacking flavor and to sweet. The crab ragoons were okay, but even the dipping sauce was bland. I'd say that if you enjoy foods without complex flavors you might really like this place. If you're someone who appreciates complex flavors and consistency you might want to look elsewhere for your next meal. ** I also think it's important to mention the one employee who was working (cooking AND handling transactions) was not wearing a face mask. read more

To thank my friend for driving me to the eye doctor in Portland, I took her to My Thai Table for dinner on our way back. We were the only ones there at 5:00 p.m. but when we left all the tables were filled, and people kept coming. We could see why this was such a popular spot, even though it was a snug little place off the beaten path. The service was excellent; the Thai iced tea and fresh spring rolls were on the table before we opened the menu. The owner, Sareena did all the cooking and serving, with a big smile and cheerful chit-chat. We were amazed at the personal attention she gave to us, explaining what the ingredients were and asking if we wanted less sweeteners, less spicey, more sauce, etc. The portions were huge, everything was fresh and seasoned to perfection, and over-the-top delicious. My friend thanked ME, and offered to drive me anywhere if I'd take her to "that happy place" again! read more

We have ordered takeout from My Thai Table a few times. When we found this new restaurant we were excited and just loved the husband/wife team working to create a successful business during such challenging times. We were eager to support them. The issue we have experienced three times now is with the orders - twice we have ordered a dish without peppers and got peppers. When we let the owners know, they offered us a complimentary dish which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, this order was also wrong. We ordered curry with fried tofu and brown rice and got curry with chicken and no rice. When we called to offer feedback on the fact this service recovery order was also wrong, we were told 'sorry about that'. We probably won't go back - we travel too far for our takeout to get back in the car to return so they can get our order right. read more

We heard there's a new Thai restaurant that just open up last February, we've been to so many thai restaurants and we had some good and bad experiences so we decided to try this one. Me and my wife ordered 2 summer rolls and a tofu pad thai for take out and surprisingly the summer rolls had lettuce and carrots only in it, where's the rest of the ingredients and the noodles of the pad thai were overcooked,no beansprouts and you barely see scallions in it and why's there a shredded cabbage on top, what is really an authentic pad thai, like I've said we've been to so many thai places but this is the first one that I've seen putting a shredded cabbage instead of beansprout on top.I gave the 3 just to be fair because of their sauce on the summer rolls which is not sweet and they gave you a separate container of chili paste and ground peanuts for you to decide how spicy you want and to be aware if you're allergic to peanuts. read more
