It seemed a bit disorganized and the staff were flustered over a patient record being misplaced, causing someone to be there an extra hour... Never have I had an exam take this long from start to finish; I spent a lot of time sitting waiting to see the DR. This is all after my appt was rescheduled two days prior - they say they called me and left a message, but I have no missed calls or messages from them. I would make sure that if you come here, make sure you plan a little extra time.

He is truly trying to make things right but I did not change my review immediately. I wanted to make sure that they were actually making these changes at the employee level, not just talking about them. I've seen some better courtesy from their employees and I think some of my concerns have been addressed. Not sure I'd say they are four or five starts yet, but they are better and maybe will get there if they continue to work to change their culture a bit. Worth a look if you need eyeglasses and can afford a higher price for better service than the big box stores, or if you have insurance they take here.

I only went to this location because my actual eye dr was booked. Harry Weinstein was rude,…read moreinconsiderate and rough when dealing with my eyes to dilate them. My appt was scheduled for 8:50 today(6/10/25), I didn't get called to the back until 9:15. After taking the necessary test before seeing Henry, the young lady dilated my eyes minutes before Henry said my eyes were taking too long to dilate. I'm not a doctor but I'm sure it takes longer than 2-5m for eyes to dilate. Harry tried to dilate my eyes 3x but after the second attempt I said I was uncomfortable with getting them done for a 3rd time and he's not giving it time to work. We proceeded with his portion of my exam and he used his nails to open my eyes(not the tip of his thumb but the tip of his nails, near my EYES)!!! I moved his hand out of my face, told him that he's digging his nails into my skin and said I'll open my own eyes if he have to use his nails and he didn't correct me or apologize, he let me open my own eyes. He then says that I have glaucoma( which I've been told but I had my eyes checked with a specialist and they said while the pressure in my eyes are larger than the average person, I don't have glaucoma) and I told him that I don't and that a specialist said I have "abnormal" pressure in both eyes but glaucoma isn't part of the reason why. Harry tried to belittle me by saying that just because I didn't start treatment for the glaucoma in my eyes, doesn't mean that I don't have it. I told him the specialist told me that I didn't have it and he still requested my medical records which I don't care about since I know what they told me. I have never experienced anything like this at any of my prior eye appts. I've dealt with all types of drs of different backgrounds but Harry is a different breed! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It took over 2 hours for a simple exam which usually takes me maybe up to an hr to complete. I don't want to throw around the word racist as people claim it's overused but I don't know what else to describe my encounter with Harry as. He didn't acknowledge himself before doing my exam, he just started the exam. He spoke to me as if I didn't comprehend what the specialist for me possibly having glaucoma told me and he was just overall short tempered, rude and condescending - It's almost as if he didn't want to do the exam but still wanted the money. Serena, greeted me and after I showed her how the plastic end would easily come off, she went to another room and fixed it. In addition, she cleaned the eyeglasses and replaced the two middle plastic pieces that go to the bridge of my nose with new ones that are clear and not green. My wife called in payment earlier, but did not have the card ran until the exam was complete. when it was the lady ran the number and said it declined even tho I know We had $ on it to speed up the process I gave her My ATM . she said that declined . I know there was plenty of $ to cover the charge But to get out of there I gave her my credit card and that declined . I asked If they could bill me . she said I would have to go to the bank and get the $ or give back the prescription. I'll obviously I gave it back. I told her there was plenty money in the account. She said the problem was not on her end so what she is saying is I intentionally went in there to get the eye exam and not have the money to pay. mind you guys this is $49 and I have insurance I left without my prescription that the Dr. gave me. Grumpy receptionists poor choices of eyeware , definitely don't deserve their VSP accreditation…read more Not sure I even got a good prescription, either my eyes haven't adjusted because everything is blurry or I'm just stuck with a crappy prescription. My sister asked for help picking out hers and even though she was eligible to get transitions, the person that worked with her didn't include them and when we askef to have it fixed they advised there would be a charge even though our vsp plan states if we don't like them we can get a free pair within 30 days. We won't be back.
