I always loved coming to Myo. It is always my go-to spot to get a sweet treat. I've never really had a bad experience until last night. I'm not sure if the closing times change on Saturdays but I arrived at 9:15pm and it was closed. Chairs were up and employee was already done mopping the floor by the time I got there. Business hours stated that it was open until 10pm. I witnessed about 5 other individuals try to come in during this time as well. They all knocked on the door with confusion and the employee didn't even bother to explain why they were closed an hour before the stared business hours. If the business hours have changed, they should consider changing them so people aren't wasting their time to travel to a place that's already closed. If it is the same and employees close up the place an hour early, they lose out on business and gain unsatisfied customers. read more

But the number one reason this place is getting a five-star review, there's a sign next to the register that says samples unlimited. It's so nice to find an establishment that doesn't immediately approach you with limitations. Samples unlimited is a pretty darn bold thing to say, but it's a simple way to tell the customers, we trust you have as many samples as you like. read more

This is my 1st time coming and raspberry sugar free wasn't working at that time but I chosen plain tart and dolce whip pineapple non dairy and chocolate. They arecsweet, tart, texture like popsicle. Prices are alittle higher than Yogurt land or Pinkberry and there are plenty of tables to enjoy. Nothing spectacular, but worth a visit since they don't have franchise in San Jose. Please open atleast one store in SJ. All frozen yogurt & toppings are pricey by weight. Toppings: fresh fruits, cookies, brownies, candies, whipped cream, granola. I've been coming here since the place opened but the experience I had tonight had to have been the worst. We came in at 8:15pm and I was confused as it looked like they were closing, rolling up the rugs and such, just to realize they didn't close until 9pm. The worker looked extremely irritated that about 6 people were in there. He proceeded to sweep in front of the ice cream machines obstructing all 6 people from serving themselves. I then went over for the toppings and they were all off ice and on the counter. Not appealing. Overall it felt awkward being in there as if we were in the way of closing. As soon as you walk in it feels awkward because the workers don't greet or say hello, just stare at you. Every time I come in there's never any sanitizer in the stations no matter how many times you tell the workers. All the workers hide in the back and no one is in the front almost always. After you purchase your myo all you get is a stick up worker who can't say thank you or have a good day. Like every time someone walks in it's an inconvenience. It's been overdo on a review from this place because I come here all the time but the workers could give a shit about this place. There needs to be a new management here and a new set of workers. My go-to spot for froyo as it's the best one in the area. They have a variety of toppings and great flavors. I noticed they recently added a non-dairy flavor and I was super excited about that. Our last stop in Monterey and I was so glad we came. I always prefer ice cream over yogurt, but this place changed my mine. MYO is the best yogurt shop I've ever been to and I've been to a lot within the Bay Area. I got tart, vanilla, and caramel popcorn. All the flavors were so good, it takes a lot to mess up on the classics, but I was expecting the popcorn one to be bad. I usually get a weird flavor to see if the yogurt shop nails the flavor or not and MYO 100% got the caramel popcorn flavor right. I was so shocked. I think they blended actual caramel popcorn. Not only the yogurt flavors, but the toppings are just as important. They had every flavor you could want and more. Chocolate covered marshmallows, Oreos, sprinkles, boba, candies, etc. My sister is a huge yogurt fan, and even she was impressed with this place. It's definitely a place I will stop by when I'm in Monterey. The only not great thing about the shop is it's so neat that it kinda looks empty and apocalyptic lol. I've been getting occasional frozen yogurts here for over 5 years. Though the yogurt is good, the equipment is not and is consistently problematic. Specifically the hot fudge dispenser, along with the 2 other toppings near checkout DO NOT WORK. About six months ago, after several years of an untidy and unsanitary dispenser that has not been replaced, I wrote an email to corporate and never got a response or improvement. Today is consistently the same disappointing condition. It does no good to talk to the competent employees because the problem is with the owners and the employees can't do anything about it. When asked why they closed we were told that the manager told them to close early in winter. Really?
