Our daughter has been searching for that viral cotton candy ice cream burrito and we found it here! She was so excited. Ordering consist of choosing your 2 cotton candy flavors, 2 flavors for your ice cream, and 2 toppings. I'm not going to lie, the thought of it didn't make me feel too excited about trying it. Our order was ready so we prepared our pallet for a sugar overload/takeover. I have to admit that it was NOT as sweet as I anticipated it to be. The texture of it all was such a cluster of deliciousness - I loved it. You have to eat fast or the ice cream melts and hardens the cotton candy. We ended up eating the ice cream out of the cotton candy. Overall, it was worth a try. It was an expensive $20 dessert, but my kiddo left happy and that's all that matters. Service was amazing since there was only one server and she was doing everything: making the waffle cones, making the cotton candy and she was super nice too. They have a variety of flavors: we opted for the ube, birthday cake, and Kahlua coffee. The ube was nice and light and not overly sweet. And the Kahlua coffee had kopiko bits in it. IYKYK. We got toasted marshmallow on everything because we're obsessed. Everything was yummy and not too sweet which was nice. The ube ice cream was the highlight, smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet. It really hit the spot and had a nice creamy texture. The walnuts added a good crunch and some extra texture to the dessert, though the pairing felt a little awkward at times. The concha itself was good and better than many I've had before. It wasn't overly dry, and they warmed it up which helped a lot. That said, conchas tend to be naturally a bit dry and crumbly, so that texture is somewhat unavoidable. Since you can customize the pairing yourself, it's possible we just didn't choose the most complementary combination. Service was amazing, the staff was very friendly and even let us sample flavors, which was a nice touch. The ambiance was good overall with a nice look to the place and cool decor. Had them add toasted marshmallow to it as well. The menu has some fantastic items that I need to go back to try. Got a container of earth cotton candy for $5 for my grandkids. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There was plenty of seating and it was very inviting with lots of cool ice cream decorations. Lots of parking in the lot in back. Unfortunately they ran out of one of the special flavors by the time I was able to order, so I ordered the caramel ice cream instead and holy moly it was so yummy! I came into Scoops about 20 minutes before closing and wasn't sure if they would still have waffle cones and bowls available. They did, made freshly for each order coming in the door until closing. The cone was fresh and tasted even better. They let me order a kids scoop portion with a waffle cone bowl and added the toasted marshmallow which was so good!
