Very impressed and it just goes to show that you can't judge a book by its cover. This place is small and kind of nestled a little hidden in a big shopping plaza. I had the clam chowder and a New England style lobster roll. After living in Boston, it's so hard to find a good lobster roll outside of there, but this is pretty close! read more

Pleasantly surprised with this lobster roll option in Naples. Hailing from the northeast, I was intrigued but prepared to be disappointed. But they delivered on a great lobstah roll! Use the app to get a discount. Order ahead. Unassuming little place in a strip mall. Not much to write home about for sit down. Staff was friendly but seemed a little overwhelmed. Definitely one of the best lobster rolls I ever have had. Everything's made fresh to order and you can taste it. Small unassuming place in a strip mall but you won't be disappointed. Service was quick and attentive. Their menu has a wide range of traditional lobster rolls and special ones. I tried the LBI specialty roll that included huge portions of lobster with giant chunks of avocado and tomatoes with avocado mayo. Was very delicious and I got the middle size and I could barely finish it. Can't imagine how big the largest one is. read more

I got the Connecticut Roll with mayo added on top and Garlic Butter, which came with a pickle and a side of cole slaw. We also got the New England Roll with Mac and Cheese (make sure to add some lobster!). It was TO DIE FOR, I'm still thinking about it. It's all delivered fresh daily and you can really tell in the quality of the lobster. I'm in my 20's and dressed in sweatpants and a jacket to go, and the servers and (who I believe is the owner) all treated me with the same respect and pure kindness they treated the big families, the fisher men getting beers, and the older folk. That is hard to find around here! Walk-in to-go, picking up to-go, sit-down casual restaurant, bar-seating, they've got it. The space is clean, the food was 5 stars, the bill wasn't high, the workers made me smile, and I left full and happy. Definitely making the drive to come back. read more

Service was very friendly! However, with only one person working (both taking orders and cooking) it was very slow. Also our warm Connecticut style rolls weren't very warm, and they needed more butter, salt and lemon, I wish they served them with a side of lemon. What was a total bummer was the weird, free crab gimmick. More than half the roll was crab meat, with lobster on top. So strange that they threw it in "for free" but in all actuality it was the majority of the roll. We drove over an hour and a half for dinner and sadly it was a miss. read more

If you've got the money to spend, this is definitely the premium lobster roll experience! Located in a bustling location, this little spot had so many items to pick from to fulfill any lobster lover's heart. I got the classic Maine roll with the mighty size upgrade! It came with two small sides of pickles and coleslaw, which paired so well with the roll. I also ordered an extra side of Yukon Gold potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious. The lobster meat was fresh and juicy, mixing well with the mayo on a warm buttery roll. The potato side was hot and steamy with butter and rosemary seasoning. As someone who LOVES lobster rolls, I highly recommend this place! It is quite pricey, but definitely worth every penny. read more

Started Bad, but the food saved the day. Food = 5 Service=2 Total= 3 Well, another road trip stop. I happen to search seafood, and my partner loves lobster rolls. We pulled off the Naples 107 exit, headed to Sanibel for 4pm checkin. Well, this place of empty at 3pm. It was strange to see him asking peoole to sit down and order. Very poor process! You are one person at front of house, I dont think there was any erson in back, as I heard no voices. So he was preparing the food, after ringing order, and trying to wait on a family of 4. Disater was unfolding before my eyes. He disappeared in back, we smelled food bring heated. So I started this in anticipation of a a hot mess. He stares down to nevr catch my unhappy stare, why are two lobster rolls with chips taking so long? Are they killing thr lobster. This isnt a cheap stop! So hurry up... We have been here almost 30 min wainting for 2 lobster rolls and a side of soup to go. If I knew my way around I would leave. We started reading the Naples papers. Very empty for 240pm, sadly. But I couldnt imagine at all if this place was packed. You could see the store at the left was trying to pull eyes with a clothing rack out. Finally, the food.THIS WAS THE ONLY SAVING GRACE FOR THIS $75 PITSTOP. My BLT LOBSTER for $25 was 6 inch, $33 is 8 inch. Was a delight. Moist, not skimpy on amount. Bread was fresh. Lettuce was fresh, bacon crisp. Hands down best I ever had. Its not cheap but was good. Expect to spent $35 to $40 per person with drinks. He asked for tap. This uppercrust crowd had bottled, so at $5 per bottle, do the math. The table of four, two women went shopping next door. An uber order came, slowed him down more. So my parnter had the basic Maine, the first one. Cold. Excellent. Meaty, sweet. Both came with chips or slaw. Always cautious of slaw due to fridg tems, can get sick. So we kept safe, chips. Overall, a solid 3. The servee was kind, just put in a bad spot by the owner. Its a bad look to take orders, cook, se4ve, ot makes me question the cleanliness. You cant drop off water, ring up orders, then go cook. Hm?! Hope the owner sees this: install a SELF SERVICE POS. Let customers order at POS, two stations. Having this poor guy who appeared slkind but stressed. Stop this silly table serice to drive tips. Just add a tip to everything. Most businesses are there already and Naples can withstand. We went to lunch ner Ft Laud, automatic tip. So establish, dine in 15% added, then you can give great service without saying dont order at counter, go sit. Seema an odd service setup! Stop by visit, enjog, expect to wait! read more

Recommended by a friend so decided to try it out. Lobster was good. Strangely the sandwiches are open, so you can't really eat it like a sandwich, knife and fork are required. Great selection of classic and new lobster dishes put on an open sandwich. My suggestion would be to make it real sandwiches so one can eat it like a sandwich. read more

The absolute best Lobsta roll when I'm visiting Naples Florida. Takes about 20 minutes so plan ahead. He boils the lobster fresh, crab fresh - the salad has mozzarella bacon and a pickle! Probably the best one I've had in Florida. The owner is the sweetest man, just honest and sets expectations- it's going to take a minute ! Fast food is not this place, the love is in the food:. The counter person Austin went over and above to ensure that we enjoyed our food. We had a cold Maine roll with mayo and warm Connecticut roll with drawn butter. Both delicious. Best tasting lobster roll in the Naples region. There is a fair amount of lobster in the lobster roll(anyone giving lesser reviews for the amount of lobster on the sandwich are just being gluttons). But if you want something excessive, you can choose the larger size. It is very very fresh tasting. We tried both Connecticut & Maine style, and were pleased. I feel like simple is best for something that is made well, but if you want something different, they do have a nice variety of other sandwich add ons. read more

Yes it is on the pricer side for a casual dining establishment but anyone who is a lobster roll fanatic like I am knows that the prices are on par for lobster rolls that you would get anywhere. I also feel like they gave a good portion of meet for the price and service was great. The roll came out hot and was yummy even though I got it to go. It also came with added crab meat as well for no extra charge which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, the only grief would be the shredded meat verses crab and lobster both being chunks. Which is how I would have preferred the dish but it still has good flavor. Will definitely check out the place again. read more

My husband and I have been to Mystic Lobster 2x in the past month. The second time we brought my parents because we loved it so much. The first time we went we both got the monster sized lobster rolls. Wow! They did not disappoint!!! Well worth the money for 1/2 lb of lobster. My husband got the BLT with crab meat and I got a naked lobster roll because I don't like too much mayo. Llit was great; he was super friendly and made sure everything was to our liking. The second time we went we ordered the Italian roll, the Connecticut roll, the New England roll and another plain roll. My girlfriend and I went to check this place out as it just opened up close to where we live. We love trying new restaurants and were excited to hear Mystic was opening a shop, as there are no other places like it around to get a lobster roll. I got the New England roll and she got the Connecticut. We both thought the lobster rolls were perfect. The lobster itself was really fresh and the portions were sizable. Visited this place last weekend when I was visiting Naples. Not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best lobster dishes I have had in a while. I ordered Lobster Salad, Connecticut lobsters, and Maine Lobsters. The lobster Salad was really good with avocado, tomato and bacon. For main course, Maine and Connecticut lobsters were pretty good. As a native New Englander, it was beyond my expectations and I could have been in Nantucket or Marthas Vineyard (if I closed my eyes). Such friendly staff and great atmospher! The drink selection also deserves a shout-out. Plenty of good options to pair with dinner, whether you are feeling like a cocktail, beer, or wine. It is always nice when a place puts as much thought into the glass as they do the plate. All around it was one of those meals where everything simply worked. Great food, good drinks, and a kitchen that clearly knows what it is doing. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

I asked for a seat at the bar, and even though space is very limited, the staff went above and beyond to find me one. That kind of effort on a packed afternoon says a lot about this team. The bartender was phenomenal -- attentive, warm, and somehow managed to make every single person at that busy bar feel like they were the only guest in the restaurant. The whole staff carried that same energy. They were also wonderfully descriptive about the daily specials and menu offerings, which made ordering a pleasure rather than a guessing game. I decided to try the crab cake, and I'm so glad I did. I grew up on the East Coast eating crab, and I've had my fair share -- I've long held that Phillips in Maryland made the gold standard. I am happy to report that Captain & Crew has dethroned them in my book. This crab cake was pure lump crab meat, not overpowered by fillers or seasoning. You could actually taste the crab. The accompaniments they served alongside it elevated the whole dish even further. Thoroughly impressed. The wine pairings were equally well-curated. I took the staff's recommendations and they absolutely nailed it. A heads-up for first-timers: parking is the one small challenge. There's no convenient lot right there, so you may need to use a parking garage and walk over. Honestly? Embrace it. If you're already in Downtown Naples, it's a beautiful stroll that perfectly sets the mood before you arrive. Captain & Crew is a true hidden gem. We started with some Stone Crabs, then some Peel & Eat Shrimp, then my wife and I shared an entree of Blackened Grouper with sides of fries and coleslaw, where we also added a few scallops. The flavors in the Tuna Tare Tare, Shrimp Ceviche was incredible, and my Lamb Shank had some of the best spices I have ever tasted in a shank. Then the owner insisted on a comp baklava dessert for our mother's birthday and it was a very unique original flambe' presentation. Most of the places I was a chef at, the servers had to do old school tableside caesar with the egg yolk, dinner like Steak Diane, dessert and flambe' drinks and I realized how rare that this is these days. Many restaurants could learn from Amber Cove, as they turned a somewhat little disappointing salad start to a great evening with class.
