I have to say their drinks are just spectacular. If you're looking just for a yummy espresso flavor then come here. I can get down with a plain oatmilk latte or sometimes do their speciality lattes ! The Carmel bourbon peach latte is a yummy must ! I do have sweet but my boyfriend loves it just how they make it. Definitely recommend. read more

Enjoyed coffee with my date. While we were there, we were met with great customer service and a refreshing beverage. The various drinks are yummy. From the chai, to the seasonal lemonades and their coffees. The aesthetic of the store is quite pleasing as well as the presentation of the drinks to be enjoyed in the store. Mythical offers unique and fun latte specials that change at least seasonally. They're not always winners, but often times they are good. They offer online ordering and curbside pickup, which is cool. Their prices are a little high, but not crazy. I have definitely driven across town to come here more than once. read more

The ambience is, well, subtle. There really isn't much to give it a unique feel or presence. The baristas are friendly, kind and accommodating which is always appreciated. I always to look for the positives in the places I visit, but being completely honest the coffee is a lot the ambience, far too subtle and it's difficult to pull out any flavor notes. It isn't bad by any means, it's just not there. The location is nice and parking easy, but there are better options nearby in Galapagos and Bergies which I would have to suggest over Mythical. Again, just an opinion made on my personal preferences- but I like my espresso much more robust. read more

I finally found the time to visit this coffee place as it has been on my list for a while. It is tucked away next to some stores that makes the coffee place blend in. Once you get inside you notice a very modern looking coffee shop. It looks very new and clean. They have a basic menu on the wall and an extended menu at the counter. The employees are also incredibly friendly so be sure to ask them for any recommendations. Normally I would go for a pour over but I decided to try one of their signature seasonal espresso drinks. I was recommended to try the rosemary caramel latte. I got oatmilk with my drink. For someone who takes their coffee seriously I felt ridiculous getting this drink. However, I must say that I am impressed that they make their caramel and syrups in-house. The drink itself had a good hint of Rosemary with a fairly light amount of caramel sweetness. I definitely enjoyed it, and desire to return to try some of their basic drinks. read more

Such friendly people working here! They also are dog friendly!:) their matcha latte was probably the 3rd best I have ever had (no clumps of matcha anywhere and no sugar added to the matcha tea if you ask them to make it sugarless). A great neighborhood find serving delicious and unique beverages. The pastries are pretty good as well. I recommend ordering online and using the curbside pickup parking spot if you are on the go. I am a year round fan of iced coffees and teas which is what I order from Mythical. They offer seasonal lattes which come with homemade flavored syrups like grapefruit, lavender, and blueberry. To be honest, I can't really taste those flavors in my drinks. Maybe its allergies or my taste buds are shot but the seasonal drinks taste the same to me, albeit delicious and well priced. The pour overs and cold brew are my go-to drinks. Coupled with a scrumptious chocolate chip cookie, orange cardamom coffee cake, or Noble Bread with blackberry jam you can't go wrong. I have had iced teas at Mythical, I don't recommend them, stick with coffee offerings. Despite its slightly hidden location, this business is thriving. Plenty of parking and guests are frequenting this establishment. When you are at Mythical Coffee you feel like you are in a COVID free world! read more

I love their lavender honey lemonade. The cashiers are super nice. They created some awkward situations when they call multiple people at the same time. We end up looking at each other wondering if we heard by mistake and figuring out which drink was mine. Their bathrooms are dirty and the outside of the bathroom is filled with spider webs. read more

My granddaughter took me here about a month ago and it was really good. She loves their avocado toast. I had their coffee cake muffin. They warmed up the coffee cake muffin. It was moist and tender. YUM!! Today we stopped in at 2:02 pm and my granddaughter ordered the avocado toast and she was told the kitchen closed at 2:00. 2 minutes after 2pm and they stopped serving toast!!! TOAST!! The coffee cake muffin that I ordered a month ago was just ok. It had not been warmed up. The maple glazed cake donut was doughy and not cooked properly. I do not see on their website that the "kitchen" closes at 2pm. I mean come on, they serve toast!! It's more complicated to make their coffee's and tea's than it is to make toast!!! I could, maybe, understand if we got there 30 minutes even 15 minutes after 2pm but not 2 minutes. Needless to say I will not be making a 20 minute drive to Mythical Coffee. read more

Truly some of the most unique coffee you will every have. On top of that, their staff will come up with their own original flavors and recipes for coffee, tea, matcha, and more. Speaking of their staff, everyone I have come in contact there is super friendly (think Dutch Bro's better more genuine and sincere). The place is almost always bumping, so if you want a place to hang/study/work, make sure you get their early enough to snag a table. I started working in this plaza and LOVE coffee. So I had to come and give this place a try. The coffee is AMAZING, everything I've tried here has been incredible. But what makes this place the best is the staff! Every single person Ive spoken to working is so sweet and really care when they ask how you're doing! Super awesome lattes. Great staff. Even though it was super busy I didn't feel rushed as a customer. Though where they really shine is the wonderful selection of bagged roasted coffees especially for use with espresso. One that I think is outstanding is the Loki blend. Its really elegant when pulled as a espresso shot. Not overly bright for a Ethiopian coffee. Fruity notes but not overpowering. The Zeus was also really good with espresso and had some great iced espressos with it also. Though I recommend the Loki over the Zeus for espresso and for a really interesting coffee. read more

Uhhhh... I saw the 5 stars and had high hopes. I'm confused. My friend got the matcha latte. She gets matcha everywhere. This matcha latte just tasted like straight milk with ice. This is a nice clean shop with very friendly barista's. We met Adam and Jasmine and really enjoyed talking with them. Adam asked where we were from and then he knew all of our favorite coffee place's in Orange County, California. The pourover that we got was well-made, but a little light for us. We will go with a darker roast next time. They had a few fun pastries available to try but we were on our way to our families house for breakfast. Will have to try them next time. I absolutely loved this place. Their whole shop was very cute and aesthetically pleasing to be in. Decor was very nice and comfortable. I ordered the cold brew with oat milk and lavender and vanilla syrups. I usually like my coffee more creamy than I received it. First time coming here, and many more visits to come in the future. If you're gluten free, and haven't had a chance to stop in here, I highly recommend it. They have a home made gluten free churro donut that is to die for. They also have a GF chocolate muffin and are working on a few other GF options. (Please make a GF lemon bar or pumpkin muffin your next GF option). PS- this is the FIRST good GF donut Ive found!!! I could have eaten 3, they were so good!! I've added a picture so you can see. There's nothing you could hate about Mythical. And I used to be the type to just write reviews when the establishment was mid but this place deserves credit. Had their beans when I lived in Riverside, CA at a place called Condron Coffee. And I loved them. And had a cortado and some beans of course again while here in AZ. Awesome. I will start by saying anything you get here is fantastic. I have never been disappointed. The only reason I deducted a star is that they clearly don't care about social distancing at all. The place was packed the last time I considered going in. I will go back once covid passes but for now I'll avoid. If you are at risk might be best to steal clear for now. read more

Their mission definitely incorporates an inviting atmosphere for the LGBTQ+ community, but it is welcoming to everyone I'd say and the service was very fast and kind. The coffee was reasonably priced $5-7 and pretty tasty. I would say the flavors didn't stand out as much as I've had at some other cafe's, but the coffee itself was great so I'm happy. I'd love to come back and try some pastries soon, they look fantastic and again, decently priced.

Some of my favorite coffee in the valley, they use high quality coffee beans that really shines through in every drink- I love how their drinks are usually just subtly sweet and don't overpower the drink. I also love that they make some of their syrups in house, which really elevates the drinks they make. highly recommend the almond croissant if you're able to get one before they sell out, it's truly divine. Ive also tried their chai before, which was well spiced and balanced, the strawberry matcha is a great drink as well. I've also tried their protein slayer shake which was good (except i'm not the biggest fan of vegan protein powder). Looking forward to my next visit!

Mythical Coffee is that coffee shop--the one you find yourself returning to over and over because it never misses. It's hands down my go-to spot in Gilbert, and for good reason. This is everything that a local coffee shop should be. Homemade custom flavors, roasted coffee beans and high attention to detail. The owners are very warm and knowledgeable about all things coffee and tea. The espresso is flavorful and the milk was aerated wonderfully. The flavors I have tried only compliment the coffee, not OVERPOWER like any coffee chain does with their sugary drinks. Outside of the product it's refreshing to see people sitting down at tables together for long amounts of time to talk and enjoy each other's company. Seeing a place of community where people relax instead of people barging in and out constantly grabbing a drink while on their phone is amazing to see. I will be back many times more and continue to tell others about this shop. read more

My visit to Mythical Coffee was a pleasant surprise! The space was open with plenty of seating options both inside and out, perfect for enjoying your coffee and treats. While the coffee was decent, it was their breakfast sandwiches and treats that stole the show - definitely A++ in my book! The mythical theme added a fun touch to the atmosphere, and I regret not picking up one of their cute reusable glasses with a Nessie decal. Service was fast and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
