Great coffee shop in Gilbert! The coffee is always on point, and the staff is consistently super friendly. Parking is hit or miss. You might score a spot out front, but more often you'll need to park nearby and walk over. The space has a very industrial vibe with high ceilings, which looks cool, but I do wish there were more comfortable and welcoming seating to really match the atmosphere. There are only a few tables, so it's best if you arrive at a good time. Overall, I'd recommend as a place to grab great coffee!
Low key/ casual spot to hang out and or get some work done. Tried the Pumpkin Pie Latte (hot and half sweet) and it was good! Would order again. Although it wasn't too busy when I walked in, there aren't a lot of tables to sit down at (just an FYI in case you walk in on a busy day). Couple tables outside for when the weather is nice as well. Overall, I recommend this place. Check them out!

Mythical Coffee was a hidden gem I just happened to find on a map, as my friend and I were looking for somewhere with coffee and food. Located in Gilbert Town Square shopping plaza, which also has a ton of other interesting looking shops, there was some street parking available at 830am on a Thursday when I arrived. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. Lots of beautiful art inside this modern looking coffee shop. They had grab&go drinks and pastries, as well as regular coffee beverages and some fun seasonal specials too! There was lots of coffee/accessories for sale too. The person who took our order was really helpful in explaining the drinks to us, and brought the food to us too! I decided to try the Purple Passion ube latte drink and it was really good, better than I'd thought it would be! I would definitely order this seasonal drink again. My friend ordered the Breakfast Sammy and said it was pretty good. She really enjoyed her chai latte, saying that it actually tasted like chai! Love this place and can't wait to come back!
I put a post on Reddit r/Gilbert to ask the community what they thought the best coffee in Gilbert was. Mythical Coffee came up multiple times in the thread and therefore I felt compelled to try it out! My daughter goes to school in the area, so on the way home yesterday from morning drop off I swung by Mythical right as they opened at 7:00 am. The shop was clean, nice open space, well organized and two very friendly baristas greeted me as I walked in. I told him I hadn't been here before but was interested in a latte. I asked for his suggestions/his favorite and he said the "purple passion latte" with whole milk. Not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious. Probably one of the best lattes I've had in the area. Because it was right at 7:00 am, I didn't wait long at all for my drink and it was ~$7 after tax/tip. I would HIGHLY suggest if you're in the area!
I enjoy coffee/ tea equally and specially when it is a locally owned business. This place has been on my list for a while and what better to meet a friend for coffee over here. When I walked in on a Friday afternoon it was packed. All the seats were taken and I just waited patiently. I went with a matcha latte and my friend a regular cappuccino. The people are so sweet and the service friendly and quick. The matcha latte was real good, it felt authentic and had really good flavor. The pricing is decent and this place has such a great vibe, can spend all day over here. Definitely, coming back!

Went here on a Sunday afternoon. It was fairly busy but staff was great. Polite and fast so the line moved quickly. I was torn between the banana pudding latte and the caramel rosemary latte. I went with the caramel rosemary latte and I'm glad I did! It was so good! I tried a sip of my friend's banana pudding latte and I liked the one I got better. Not a big space with a lot of seating. Parking in front and back. Clean space. I'd come back.
Cozy, modern cafe in Gilbert just south of downtown. There's always a good vibe here and coffee is great. I like the service and would recommend to anyone who likes coffee shops. There's a couch to chill on with your laptop. There's people so it feels alive but not over crowded that you want to leave.
This place was great. The interaction we had with the cashier was amazing as he was very nice and approachable. The line was long but he was very patient and kind. I ordered a London fog tea with half and half and it was the best. It was creamy, milky, and it was the right amount of sweetness. My friend had the seasonal drink and he also enjoyed it. We sat on the cute blue couch while we sipped our drinks and it was fun to people watch as it was very busy. The bathroom was clean. Overall, will be back!

I have been coming back to this coffee shop for the past two years. This place has its own unique charming atmosphere with open space that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff and service are absolutely wonderful, friendly, fast delivery. I order summer drinks; watermelon matcha which very smooth and refreshing -- loved it! It's quiet busy spot but still feel relaxing and quiet enough for you to do your work and brainstorming with friends. I will come back again soon!
Mythical Coffee is one of my go-tos for cute cafes in Gilbert! The drinks are fun and tasty and the employees are always so sweet My only gripe is that it can be difficult to find seats/tables because it's always so popular and packed But I love that they have fun seasonal drinks and the aesthetic interior

Love this place!!! I don't know why I only got to try this place by now, but this place is amazing. Convenient location, cute interior, and people here are super friendly and sweet! So cool! And most importantly, drinks are so yum. I had a cup of Matcha latte and I could taste the rich flavor of matcha with perfect amount of milky foam, it was just perfect. And my friend had a avocado toast, it comes with scrambled egg on top, and was super creamy and satisfying. Definitely would come back here more often! read more

Wanted to try this place out for my morning drink. I ordered the gingerbread latte and honey lavender lemonade. The gingerbread latte was pretty good it has a little gingerbread on top which you can dip in your latte if you wish. The honey lavender to me tasted okay. It was probably not my most favorite but it wasn't too bad either. Overall I like the vibe of this place and the friendly employees. read more

food: I'm always on the search for a good Lavender Latte and this one is pretty solid! Kind of bummed that they paused doing pour overs due to how busy they were. Between the espresso and matcha lattes, we agreed that the drinks could be a little sweeter. One thing that surprised me is how good the breakfast sandwich was! The brioche bread and the spice from the sriracha were the perfect touch. ambiance: definitely captures the typical clean, modern coffee house vibe. There is a little reading nook and some seating outside when the weather is nice. If you are ever at the Gilbert Farmers Market or just in the area, I would definitely check this place out! read more
Saw the business on Yelp and decided to stop in for a coffee. Alex was very helpful and answered all of my questions regarding the different options. We went on a Sunday morning about 9:00 am so there were only a couple of other people there. Parking was ample, but I imagine during a busier time it might be tricky to get a spot. We were lucky and got the table right up front by the window. Even though my bench wobbled, I still liked our seat. Not a lot of seating, so again, during a busy time it may be hard to find a table. Alex brought our coffee to our table and it was so delicious. Pretty designs adorned the top of the coffee and the temperature was perfect. I can see staying long after your coffee is gone and just enjoying the atmosphere. Located within a very clean and modern looking center in Gilbert, it was very easy to get to and I would definitely recommend giving them a try. read more
This place is worth the drive! As a first timer, I asked for a recommendation and had a delicious orange cardamom latte. The design on top was amazing too (very impressive)! I met a coworker hoping we could get some work done but there were no seats, and everyone was hunkered down for the long haul. We sat outside freezing! I will plan to come back when the weather is warmer- and will be excited to try the next seasonal recommendation! read more
I tried the watermelon matcha this time around and it was pretty good! A new take on this kind of drink, and the pairing works well. The drink comes with 2 sour watermelon gummies which is super cute. I love that this place has good seating with outlets. Definitely stop by here for studying. read more

Mythical Coffee is my favorite coffee shop in PHX! Anytime I'm in town I will ALWAYS go. They can get pretty busy inside but the employees always make sure to great a friendly and fun environment. read more
Wow oh wow is this place good! Gilbert must try!!! Love the iced vanilla latte, simple and easy but great coffee flavor. Hot spicy chai tea latte was tasty and so cute in my cup, spicy left me wanting more. Some scrumptious Shakshuka Avocado Toast that made us want another piece immediately. read more

I was debating between this place and a yogurt shop as my last stop before hitting the road for six hours, and I am so so so so glad I went with this! I was already drawn in when seeing how well-priced drinks are, let alone the brand's aesthetic and store's interior. I wanted to try both the Matcha and Honey Lavender lemonade, but I got two drinks for myself at one too many places this trip already that I had to resist. So I went with the Matcha, substituted with oat milk, and in the super cute glasses! My total came out to be $5.12 which I'm still super confused about because that either means the oat milk upgrade or the glass was free, and from reading other reviews, it seems like both of those have an upcharge? Regardless, I am not gonna complain! My drink came out very quickly, and I was on my way, sipping on my delicious matcha latte! read more
It's cool to see another awesome coffee shop in Gilbert. I really like the theme to this place. These guys are story tellers and they tell them through their coffee. Their coffee beans even encourage conversation with names like Cyclops, Big Foot and Trojan Horse. The idea here is to draw people in and create community. How ironic that my first visit here was with a group of Instagram influencers looking to create community over competition. I love that Mystical is passionate about sourcing beans from different parts of the globe. Especially third-world countries where farmers probably don't get paid enough for the work they do. I personally have a monthly subscription to coffee beans harvested in Rawanda and the money I pay goes back into their community. Mythical's coffee bean labels give the origin of the beans and the name of the farmer (which is really cool!). The shop itself is spacious and looks and feels very clean because of the bright white walls. The baristas pull their shots from a aqua colored machine that they call MVP Hydra. Mythical has many of your typical espresso drinks. But they also have some creative combinations that they came up with too. I tried the Blueberry Lavender and really enjoyed it. Ordered the seasonal pumpkin latte and pumpkin donut and was really disappointed in the lack of pumpkin flavors overall. Coffee was also very lukewarm when it was prepared. Long lines on a Sunday morning, not worth the wait for overpriced and bland tasting coffee. read more

I'm on the fence here on how to really rate it, but based on todays experience and what we tried I'm going with a 3.5/5 as a whole. I've had this local spot on my list for months and months and finally made it over today with my daughter. Let me start by saying that if it were based on service alone they hit it out of the park. We were welcomed instantly with smiles and genuine small talk. It was so nice to walk in to a place where you could tell she really loved her job. The vibe inside was also great. With bright white walls and lots of light from the full glass windows/door it felt open and somewhere I could spend a good amount of time. There is a cozy looking couch as well as ample tables inside with even more outside seating if you're willing to brave todays 119 weather. Unfortunately we couldn't find a seat inside to chill for longer so we waited for our drinks and went to one of the shaded tables outside for a few to drink a couple before heading back to the car. A lot of people were working on their laptops etc since there is wifi and charging ports available. Seems to be a great place for locals. They also offer items for purchase including shirts, loose leaf tea, and more. I loved the cute cups for drinking your items in the shop. I should've asked if you could purchase them, but I will for sure next time. Here's where I add my negative feedback (bummer as I'd call it). I adore cold brew. I drink it so much it's like second nature to me. Many shops don't carry heavy whipping cream as it's not very popular, but I was pleased when they told me they had some on hand. She stated they don't always carry it since it's not very popular, but score for today. I asked for a splash of cream in the nitro cold brew with sf vanilla extra sweet. According to another review their drink was watery and not very good. I'd agree with the cold brew. Unfortunately at first sip it was overtly watered down, and just off all around. I tasted literally no vanilla either. My daughter ordered an iced matcha and said it didn't have much flavor. She added a bit of the raw sugar they have on hand and it was good after that. I went inside and ordered a few more drinks because every place is different and maybe I'd find something I loved more. I chose a basic iced vanilla latte and lavender lemonade to go. Both drinks were great and I left feeling more positive about my stop. I also want to add I also asked for a small to go cup with a tiny amount of sf vanilla to add to my cold brew as to not waste it. It did make it better for me, but I wouldn't order it again. The lemonade and latte were exactly as I ordered and the lemonade refreshing on such a hot day. I will definitely come back again to hopefully find a seat inside to stay a bit and try some of the food items. The avocado toast looked amazing, but we were so full from our breakfast we just purchased the drinks. Have you been here? What do you think? read more

Came here for the first time to sit and enjoy. Always pop in for beans only. Well, it is busy t 10:15am on a Saturday. Ordered Breakfast Sammy, coffee cake, and drip coffee. Luckily found a table as someone let us know he was leaving. Coffee - good but not pour over Sammy - excellent and full of flavor, a bit spicy *this will be ordered again!! I happened to be in the area this morning and on the hunt for some good coffee. Glad I ended up coming to this place! They of course have the typical coffee house selections, but in addition they also have some interesting latte creations. I ended up getting a plum + cardamom latte. It was both pretty and tasty! While waiting for my latte to be prepared, I admired their pour over machines (Marco SP9 if you want to look it up) - they look really cool because they create a vortex of water on top. read more

Wow! Their coffee is so good and different from what I have had before. I ended up buying a bag of their Bacchus coffee beans which was what they were using for their espresso drinks. It is pricy but I really loved it so I think it's worth it. So delicious with low acidity and very flavourful. Also had their avocado toast which is basic but tasty and their overnight lemon oats which were very good. Service was good, friendly and quick considering they were quite busy. read more

Wow! I'm definitely impressed with this coffeeshop in AZ. Being from the East Coast my whole life, oatmilk is a thing out there for several years now. Coming to Mythical Coffee, I decided to opt out of my usual matcha latte and order their lavender blueberry latte... with available OATMILK! A god send! We decided to sit in and work here, seeing many others popping out their laptops and staying for two hours or so in this cute cafe. It's personable, clean, and well designed from the counter to the bathroom to the staff! The feeling that this coffeeshop definitely exudes urban coffee vibes. They also sell merch, speciality drinks, pour overs, and cafe food/pastries. Lavender blueberry latte: excellent! Tasted exactly what a lavender latter should with vegan milk. The additional sugar-coated blueberries made the presentation of the drink extra which exceeded my expectations. Overnight oats: also a pretty presentation with a nice touch of walnut crunch and a side of apple slices and fruit bits. Overall, I was pleased with this and the serving size. Price was reasonable. All the drinks and food were made in a timely manner. Make sure to pick it up yourself at the counter. Staff is chill and friendly. The place can get a bit loud, so I recommend bringing headphones if you plan to work and zone out. Accepts cash, card, and Applepay. WiFi and outlets available. Great for working on your laptop. This spot has been on my "Yelp Wish List" for a while - and what better day to go than on a relaxing Christmas Eve! My husband and I stopped in while out running a few errands. I've heard that this place was known for their: - Cute brand - Interior Design - Unique, creative seasonal flavors - Excellent coffee - Great Service I was not let down on ANY of these things. I'd highly recommend checking them out, especially if you're really into coffee. I had the Cranberry Orange Espresso Tonic, which is essentially an americano made with tonic water and a flavored syrup. I had never considered using tonic water in an americano but really enjoyed it. I'm excited to experiment with this a bit at home, too. I will certainly be back here on a regular basis. Everyone was very friendly and you can't beat that when it's paired with great coffee. (They do have additional parking / a door behind the shop if you're having issues finding parking on the main street) read more
What a nice guy taking orders here. Always a great way to begin an order! Very nice spot for coffee, relaxing while reading or chatting. Minimalistic comfortable decor with an area that could be your living room. The priced right Iced Americano was delicious and the pastries looked very tasty. Crowded and the music was not too loud. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because there's a charge of .50 for half and half or milk and .75 for almond or oak. I'd rather they charge a bit more for the coffee and include the milk. Looking forward to visiting the new Scottsdale location. read more

Love a good coffee spot. I'm really glad that Gilbert has a cool spot to grab coffee. This coffee shop is very spacious and there are a lot of seating. The menu is pretty simple and they offer different milk alternatives, which is awesome (not all coffee shops do). The staff was very friendly, giving recommendations and answering any questions I had. I ordered the Rosemary & Caramel latte with oat milk and Vegan Orange Cranberry Scone. Rosemary & Caramel Latte: very nice, subtle with flavors, not overwhelming with caramel notes, and you can still enjoy the espresso in the drink. Vegan Orange Cranberry Scone: did not taste like a vegan pastry at all! Highly recommend warming it up and adding the icing drizzle on top. It's pretty delicious. Knitted cardigans, carefully crafted athleisure, chic hats, and nowhere to sit. Every 10-15 minutes loops another set of patrons' "HIIIIiiiiiiiiiiii, how ARE youuuuuuu?" Those waiting for their orders crowd the small area between tables along the wall, blocking the fridge of manufactured refreshments and coffee sweeteners. All of the few small tables are taken and the lounge area is occupied by several individuals balancing laptops on their knees. I had been dying to try this place for a while now. What am I doing here?? I'm not cool enough for this. I ordered a cappuccino and the elote toast. The cappuccino tasted like a cappuccino. My jaw wasn't strong enough to gnaw through the burnt toast. I have found the best latte and cafe in all of Phoenix! To start with, their service is the bomb. The guy was so friendly, welcomed me there, and gave me a rundown of the menu. I ordered an almond milk latte, my standard, and it was just perfect in taste, temperature, and design. What a masterpiece of a cup of coffee. The cafe itself is so chill, clean, and airy. There's a good amount of seating with a lovely ambiance, and it's really cute overall. A million stars for this cafe. Can't wait to return! read more

I had really high hope for this place from photos I've seen...sadly it didn't live up. I got the sweet chai, and I'm some what of a chai connoisseur and it really was not anything special. Also go the avocado toast and it was maybe one of the worse ones I've had...I think they maybe put the whole thing in the microwave to warm it but it came out like soggy almost. and waaay too much paprika for my liking. Willing to give them another shot, I kind of want to try their pastries. And if it helps the workers could not have been any nicer so that's a plus. read more

A truly lovely place. The spicy chai, extra hot, with honey cinnamon and oat milk is my go to. Eric, Cher, Michael, Junior, Anthony, and Keaton (whom I see the most) are such a joy to interact with and I love sitting her to read & journal. I've made friends with customers who also sit here organically. Great natural lighting. read more

We always stop in when we're in Phoenix and sometimes even order coffee from Austin. It's consistently high quality, and fantastic service. This time around the espresso and sprinkle donut were fantastic. My wife enjoyed the sugar cookie latte! read more
