    Chicken tenders and fries

We usually dine here when visiting Universal's Island of Adventure. This restaurant was a nice sit down and airconditioned place and the food was really good. However, this trip, the quality fo the food was mediocre at best and we were disappointed by this. Our waiter was also not attentive and we had a tough time getting the level of service we have come to expect from past dining experience. We ordered a number of appetizers to share and a couple of entrees. We had the Mythos Signature Dips and Lavash Bread, Meditterean Baised Beef Flatbread and the Spanakopita Dip. The best appetizer was the Flatbread. The dips were disappointing and had not much flavor. We also ordered the Wagyu Burger , Chicken tenders and the Beef Loin medallions. The flatbread was flavorful. The bread itself was nice and fluffy and was not soggy. The spinach dip did not present well nor did it taste great. Very unappetizing. The signature dips - we did enjoy the red pepper hummus and the baked feta with roasted tomato sauce. Did not like the tapenade as much. Chicken tenders tasted good and so did the burger. The beef tenderloin, I was told, was just OK. Not much flavor/seasoning. The area where this restaurant is located will be torn down by Universal and a new exhibit/attraction is planned. I would think that this restaurant would be re-purposed to be in line with whatever the theme of the new attraction would be. The overall staff were friendly.

I heard this place would close in 2027 due to Universal Orlando tearing this entire area down to replace with a different theme. As I heard rave reviews from friends, I wanted to check this restaurant while I could. I'm glad I did because, especially for a theme park, the food is excellent. I and my friends started with a bread and dips appetizer that was so good I didn't get a picture because we devoured faster than piranha. However, i did slow down for my entree, the souvlaki couscous bowl with chicken kebab. Absolutely delicious. Maybe the best entree I've had inside a theme/amusement park. Oh, and service is excellent. Nothing to say other than that. Overall, probably the best restaurant at Universal Orlando. But it won't be here much longer, unfortunately.

If you are looking for a break from typical theme park fare and want to experience fine dining in between riding roller coasters, Mythos is Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure is the place for you. This restaurant continues to receive accolades for its menu and service and has won awards for being the best in theme park dining. Mythos provides a calm and luxurious setting to enjoy Mediterranean and Asian inspired dishes. There are whimsical details of mythology throughout the decor. With water features and the cave-like structure, it can be noisy, but in a pleasant way...similar to using a white noise machine. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are happy to provide recommendations. They work together to make sure drinks stay filled and food arrives at the table as soon as it is prepared. Shout out to CHRISTIAN who took great care of my parents and myself on our recent visit. The menu is vast. There are amazing choices which will allow you to try something new or a better version of something familiar. The quality of the food is excellent. The portions are huge. If the cost of dining here is your only reason for hesitating, share a dish with a friend because you want to experience this restaurant! For me, while the price is more than what I would typically pay in a theme park, the amount of food, quality of food and exceptional service make the price appropriate!

I'm glad I walked around scoping out a place to eat and didn't settle for a fast / casual spot. I walked past Mythos and there was a big banner saying "10 time winner #1 themed park restaurant in the world! - theme park insider. The menu sounded enticing so I decided to give it a try. I put my name down on the waitlist and was told it would be 25 minutes ish wait but luckily I only waited about 15 minutes. The inside and building structure is so cool! Definitely the better food option in this park. It's a sit down restaurant and the service was great! Shoutout to the wonder Stephanie for being so personable and super sweet. I ordered the sea scallop & wild mushroom risotto $45 and Siren song drink. Wow the portion of the risotto was perfect, especially since I paid $$ for it. It also tasted so freaking yummy!! Love at first bite. Again, pricey but quality dishes.

Is this the world's best theme park restaurant? It's certainly a contender. Mythos is an excellent choice for anyone looking to escape the sun, enjoy a pleasant dining experience, and savor delicious food. My cucumber martini was very refreshing and didn't leave me feeling sluggish. The Caesar salad was incredibly fresh, enhanced by freshly squeezed lemons. I ordered the Pad Thai, which was the perfect portion size for a busy day at the theme park--it kept me energized without overfilling me. The food here is too notch and not your typical burgers and hot dogs. The restaurant's interior is stunning, featuring beautiful curves, enchanting lights, and statues integrated into the walls. The ambiance is otherworldly, providing customers with a truly amazing experience.

    Menu - December 2024

When researching dining locations for our Universal Orlando trip in December 2024, my mom and I wanted to try this location as the atmosphere looked beautiful. Which when arriving, we definitely were taking in the beautiful decor and theming of this restaurant. Additionally, the menu seemed to have options that we'd all enjoy so this was on our must try list for the trip. Robert was very friendly when we were seated, and great with my food allergies. We started with Spanakopita Dip as a starter which we all enjoyed! We were off to a great start, but there was a mishap with my mom's salad as it was missing ingredients. Later we would find out it seems she was served the wrong salad, but she didn't want to fuss. We did bring up to Robert who attempted to fix things, then identified the wrong salad likely was the reason for missing ingredients. Besides that, my dad and I both enjoyed our entrees. Though there was an issue with the salad, we still enjoyed the meal and would return.

With the coolest looking exterior and interior, Mythos is a super fun spot to dine while in the parks, and the food did not disappoint! We started with the lamb hummus which was amazing. The beef medallion was a perfectly cooked beef tenderloin with excellent flavor.

If you are looking for a nice place to sit down, enjoy the AC, & get a bite, this checked the boxes but not the best place ever. The service was really good but the food missed the mark. Nice & friendly staff. Food was ok but it is within a theme park so it was expected.

Our second time here and we LOVED it. This meal MADE our trip! We keep raving about (and craving) it! The staff was incredible, friendly, and very informative. The views are amazing and the restaurant theming is, without a doubt, incredible. We started off with the Spanakopita Dip which was fantastic. Especially with a side of lemons! The pita bread with it was also fantastic. We then got the Pad Thai, which was PHENOMENAL! The can't stop raving about it. The shrimp, chicken, and especially the spices were just perfect. Me and my bf shared this whole meal and both left full and happy! If you're looking for a good meal to share and a restaurant that will blow you away, this is it!

The restaurant is beautiful on the inside! It's such a cool place to rest and eat in the parks. The Fork, Knife and Spoon Grilled Cheese was actually amazing. The sandwich was huge and grilled perfectly. The tomato soup was very yummy and the crispy pork was a nice touch. The lamb burger was a little bit too charred for my liking, but the sauces on the side paired deliciously with the burger. The service was nice and it definitely was a heftier price, but what do you expect in a theme park.

Mythos Restaurant - A Hidden Oasis Inside Islands of Adventure Located within the Lost Continent at Universal's Islands of Adventure, Mythos Restaurant offers a unique dining experiences inside any theme park. The restaurant is beautifully themed as an ancient cave, complete with soaring ceilings, carved statues, and a dramatic, almost otherworldly atmosphere. It truly feels like stepping into a different world. With the future of the Lost Continent somewhat uncertain, I hope that Mythos will be re-themed for the new area surrounding it. Reservations are highly recommended, especially given its location inside the park, and the experience is well worth the planning. This is not a budget dining option, but the quality justifies the price. We ordered the vegetable Pad Thai and a salmon entrée with a perfectly crisp exterior. Both dishes were well-executed, flavorful, and satisfying--leaving us comfortably full while still energized to continue exploring the park. The staff consistently stands out--friendly, attentive, and accommodating without being intrusive. One of the biggest highlights is the atmosphere. After hours in the Florida heat, surrounded by roller coasters, dinosaurs, and the energy of Hogsmeade, Mythos provides a calm, cool, and slightly quieter environment. It's a welcome reset in the middle of a busy day. While we didn't order dessert, several tables around us did, and the presentation alone made them look absolutely worth trying. Overall: Mythos delivers a rare combination of immersive theming, high-quality food, and a relaxing atmosphere--making it one of the standout dining experiences at Islands of Adventure. I highly recommend Mythos.

    Caesar salad and calamari
    Tiffany L.

That sign you see outside the restaurant calling it the best theme park restaurant? They're absolutely right. The whole ambience and theme of the restaurant is amazing, not to mention the view of the water and coasters. The Caesar salad and calamari were good but nothing super special. The pork chop, however, oh my god, dare I say one of the best pork chops I've had in my life. It was so juicy and tender - and it was a huge portion. Everything we ordered was split between 2 girls and we were stuffed afterwards. The waitstaff were also very nice and explained the menu to us with recommendations. Definitely will be back the next time I'm at islands of adventure!!

    Mezze Platter
    Tiffany S.

Service was phenomenal, but Mythos can't really hold a candle to the new Epic Universe restaurants (which we went to right before this). Also, since I've been to many WDW restaurants - it also can't hod a candle to some of my favorite spots like Tiffins. Overall the ambiance is cool but a little dated - once again compared to Epic! But, we enjoyed our meal here. It was a late ~8:45-9pm meal as the wait was much longer than quoted but we weren't in a rush. We shared: *Mezze Platter(V)- $15 (a tasting of house made hummus, baba ghanoush, marinated fennel, Kalamata olives served with charred pita) - the baba ghanoush was a little bit too sweet for me. the pita seemed like super market pita rather than "house made" or fresh. But, the humus was good and i liked the marinated fennel! *Souvlaki Couscous Bowl (za'tar spiced couscous, fresh cucumbers, marinated artichoke, Kalamata olives, spiced chickpeas, feta cheese, tzatziki, tahini dressing) - we added the lamb kofta which made this tiny bowl $30! But, it was fine to share for us that day. The flavors were really good and the lamb wasn't gamey at all but it was just super pricey.

As expected from a winery, the wine selection was outstanding and easily the star of the table. When it came to the dining, it was a bit of a mixed bag, though the appetizers got things off to a strong start. The quesadilla was packed with flavor and really hit the mark. The Drunken Shrimp, however, missed the landing--they were slightly dry and had a noticeably chewy texture. For the main course, the filet mignon medallions/tenderloin were decent in flavor, but the meat was a bit too chewy for what should have been a melt-in-your-mouth cut. Even with a couple of hiccups on the kitchen side, the stellar wine, fantastic appetizers, and top-tier service carried the evening. It's definitely a solid, fun spot to visit on I-Drive, and we'd happily return.

We finished with the brownie for dessert to celebrate my birthday, perfect way to end dinner. Our service was amazing! Our server was attentive, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering over us. Great food, great drinks, great service and a really good experience. I would definitely come back!

The table setting was very romantic and from the beginning to the end, I give my experience a 10. Dinner and dessert was phenomenal and I loved the guava margarita ( keep them coming !) I'd like to come and enjoy the outdoor terrace as well or maybe an after work cocktail at the bar. The cocktails were delicious, beautifully prepared, and reasonably priced for the quality and setting. Their current happy-hour drink menu includes $10 cocktails such as the Guava Margarita, Chismosa with Prosecco and passion fruit, Norman's Old Fashioned, The Albatross, and Grey Goose Martinis. They also offer $8 sommelier-selected wines and several $5/7 beers. The food was equally impressive--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their happy-hour menu includes Blue Crab Beignets with yuzu aioli, Chilled Beef Tenderloin Tataki, Truffle Fries, Fish and Chips, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Porchetta, oysters on the half shell, and a chef-selected charcuterie board. Everything we tried was tasty, and the happy-hour pricing made it possible to sample several different dishes. We came to celebrate a friend's birthday as a surprise, and overall, we had a wonderful time. However, one part of the experience could have been handled much better. We brought a personal dessert for the celebration, but the manager would not allow us to serve it and came across as unnecessarily rude when explaining the policy. We respect that restaurants may have rules regarding outside food, but no one informed us of this policy when we made the reservation or when we checked in with the dessert. A simple heads-up beforehand--or a kinder, more professional explanation--would have prevented the disappointment. Despite that interaction, the drinks, food, atmosphere, and rest of the experience were very enjoyable. I would still recommend Norman's, especially for its excellent happy-hour menu, but I hope management improves how special-occasion policies are communicated to guests.

It's a bit confusing because you have to walk past the bar area (with two pool tables) towards the back to find the host stand. While making my reservation, I opted for the semi-private dining room and we had almost the entire area to ourselves and were seated in an oversized comfy booth. Our server was very nice and made great recommendations. The food came out in a timely manner, was well presented, decent portions, and tasted great. We especially loved the Caesar tartare, lamb shank, apple pie, and cookies. The cookies were especially unique and they also added decorative chocolates to both with celebratory messages based on our reservation. No notes, we will be back!

We ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the deviled eggs (with no bacon) as appetizers. For our new drinks we got margaritas, I got a regular margarita and my partner got a passion fruit margarita. For entrees, I had the famous fried chicken and my hubby had the meatloaf. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, relaxed, they keep the shades lowered during the day to reduce that sun intake and it's lovely. It feels nice and relaxed in here no matter the weather outside. Again, we enjoyed the experience but the service was fairly slow. We had to pretty much know what we wanted by the next time we saw our server or flag her down to get her attention. She was waiting about 4 tables on our area. We were party of two.dd

For a simple meal for two people, the service was unreasonably slow throughout the evening. Our server, Svet, was polite and personable, but friendliness alone could not make up for the delays. The hummus appetizer was excellent and was easily the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful and served with pita, cucumbers, carrots, and red peppers. The food presentation overall was attractive and showed promise. The most serious issue occurred when my son ordered a refill of his virgin mojito and was served a drink containing alcohol. He immediately noticed something was wrong after taking a sip and handed it to me. I tasted it as well and confirmed that it contained alcohol. Serving alcohol in a child's drink is a significant mistake and should never happen. We also ordered the steak frites based on a recommendation and were told it was exceptional. Unfortunately, the steak was extremely tough and chewy, making it difficult to eat and far from what was described. Management apologized and removed the steak from the bill, but the combination of excessive wait times, the alcohol mix-up involving a minor, and the disappointing entrée left a poor overall impression.
