(For food, duh) Today was my second time repairing my screen here at MobileFlex. Last time was about a year ago and it was just as smooth today as it was then. It's a small stall on the second floor. There are two guys there and the owner or the man in charge (guy with glasses) is a skilled, honest worker and very kind. Fee ranges from $80-100 depending on the degree of damage. You sign a receipt and come back in 30 minutes. In the meantime, grab something to eat in the food court downstairs or wander around the interesting Korean beauty stores and bakeries on the same block. Pleased with the quality of their repair work. Now I've got a shiny new screen again. Yaaay! Highly recommend.

The colors were off and looked terrible, and it had a chin at the bottom. I went back and paid $250 for a proper oled iPhone screen. I was happy with it. I even went back to him weeks later for a screen protector. Everything looked and worked great for 3 months until it didn't. The screen started to glitch when I set it to full brightness then it started to flash and glitch with any movement. Finally my screen just failed. An ideal place would at least have a 90-day warranty or at least try to fix it, especially for a returning customer. He definitely recognized me because I was there 3 times within the past 3 months. Who would want to come back 3 times anyways? He had no intention whatsoever to help me. I asked if he could just check on the screen but he didn't bother answering any questions or concerns. Instead he was rude and I, the customer, had to ask "So how can we fix this?" He wanted $250 AGAIN to make me pay for a new screen. Why would I do that if the first one completely failed? This is hands down a great group. Shattered the screen on my phone and found them on Yelp so figured if my fellow yelpers love them, why not try it out. It was definitely cheaper than paying the deductible on the craptastic insurance I had on my phone plan. Very thorough at explaining the process, time needed to repair the damage and pricing is very reasonable. They recognize repeat customers with generous discounts too. The gentleman at the counter gave me a price quote and assured me it would only take about an hour, so I told him I'd be back the next day. ​I returned as planned and handed the phone over. Thankfully, it turned out to just be a screen issue after all! The repair itself was done incredibly quickly and efficiently. He even let me know to come back if I ran into any issues with his work, but everything has been perfect so far and I highly doubt I'll have any problems. ​The quality of work and the speed make it worth it, but the prices were definitely a bit higher than I initially expected. I ultimately decided on 4 stars because they charge an extra fee if you pay with a credit card, on top of the regular tax. Depending on what you're getting fixed, that credit card fee plus tax can easily add an extra $20+ onto your quoted price. I know a lot of restaurants are starting to do this nowadays, but I wasn't expecting it at a repair shop and wish I had known in advance so I could decide if I wanted to use a different payment method to avoid the surcharge. Fortunately I was able to do so. ​Overall, they do fantastic, fast work, and the customer service is great! Just be sure to bring cash or an alternative payment method if you want to save a few bucks on the fees!

He told me it was a "simple power issue" and said it would cost around $50 to fix. A few hours later, he called me back and suddenly claimed there were multiple problems--now the motherboard "looked suspicious," and he said he might need to order special parts. I asked for proof or photos, but he just talked in circles, using a bunch of technical words to confuse me. It felt like he was making up issues just to raise the price. He said, "I already opened it up, so I have to charge you either way," and then mentioned a new fee--conveniently just under $100. I ended up paying more than double what he originally quoted, and my computer still wasn't fully working when I picked it up. It honestly felt like a scam. I saw another customer arguing with him while I was there, saying something similar. Avoid this place if you don't want to be tricked into paying for "repairs" you didn't ask for.
