Really love this store! My fiancé and I have been shopping at Hawaiian based Na Hoku stores for many years. After discovering the Na Hoku brand on our trips to Hawaii, we were thrilled to find one locally. I love their collection of unique and Island inspired jewelry. They have nice marine life and nautical pieces in addition to tradition Hawaiian styles that have a lot of history and meaning behind them. Overall, we really love the selection that Na Hoku offers and the fact that so much of their collections have true meaning and roots in either nature or culture. Very impressive. I have shopped at many Na Hoku stores nationwide and have found the customer service and interactions to be exemplary. This location is no exception. I have been give time to peruse their extensive selection on a few occasions at this store and have never had any feeling of being rushed or pressured to purchase something I wasn't completely happy with. They really want you to love your jewelry and be happy with your purchase. Well my mother had bought some unique pieces of pearl jewelry long time ago in 2005. I have never bought any jewelry there that time. Their jewelry focuses alot on Hawaiian if not Polynesian style jewelry that reflects Pacific islander themes. Back then they were known for their Tahitian and South Sea pearls which they still have a few now and I was looking inside at the woodfield Mall. Amazing that they survived the pandemic because their other store in Oakbrook outlet Mall in Oakbrook, IL I learned was closed from their fellow sales rep. The Schaumburg location lasted back into the 1990s that I remember but never walked in. until mid 2000's. Anyways curiosity got the best for me to stroll around woodfield Mall in Schaumburg and haven't gone to the store for some time. I walked in just thinking that I was going to do window shopping just to stumble upon certain jewelry that really caught my attention or caught my fancy. I didn't buy this piece of jewelry but it was unique and had to put this on Yelp despite that I usually Yelp about restaurants but never about jewelry and it's been awhile since I've uploaded Google this past year on the same reviews so that not just yell but other media that places reviews will read on the world wide web about how great or how bad my experiences are. But in regards to jewelry there was a sterling silver crab necklace that came with a silver chain. Which I found unique also it was my horoscope or zodiac sign being cancer the crab. I didn't buy it right away but I waited until my next paycheck since I had enough to purchase it. Connie or Constance I believe the salesperson's name was was courteous enough to let me try it on. But like any staff member they were not eager but were amiable to help if I needed any help. There is also what I was also reflecting was a beautiful sterling silver octopus bracelet as well as octopus rings that I thought was beautiful if not unique and tasteful. Almost one of a kind. The bracelets were very expensive and I don't know anybody to give it to but I do recommend if you want that unique piece of sea or Island Pacific jewelry this is the place to go. Next to the traditional south sea or Tahitian pearls both earrings rings or their traditional necklaces. Also check out their website too. Other than that highly recommended to come here. Connie the sale rep was very helpful since the chain was not long enough and advise me as an additional option not to spend more on a longer chain out of sterling silver a $12 sterling silver chain extension. I have shopped at both this location and the one at Oak Brook and think this one provides far better service. A few years back, I asked the husband for a specific earring for my birthday. The people at the Oak Brook location sold him 3 pieces - that did not match or coordinate at all - totally trying to take advantage of him to try and make a sale on items that were not selling as well? No one understood how you could walk into a jewelry shop and walk out with such random items on recommendation -even the sales at this location!!! Since then, I just do the shopping on my own and have found this location to be full of helpful salespeople who are trying to help you make the right choice, not just upsell. When I went in here after buying two things at the Oak Brook store, the woman showed me pices that coordinated and did not try to talk me into huge earrings, but sold me the smaller ones I asked for!! read more

My dad wanted to get something really nice for my mom for Mother's Day a few years ago and we decided to check this place out because we heard great things! This store probably has some of the most beautiful jewelry I've ever seen. It's obviously a Hawaiian jeweler place but it's so lovely. My dad got my mom a stainless steel black freshwater pearl necklace. Simple but very pretty. I usually go in the store and just stare at everything but yet knowing I really can't afford any of it! It's pricy but usually you can find some decent items under $150. My mom got my sister and I necklaces for graduation and those are great too. However, both of our chains broke. We went back and one of the workers was so generous and helpful. She told us to both come back in with our broken chains and she'll see what she can do about it. We went in there and not only did they replace the chains, they replaced the pennants too! Brand new necklaces for both of us. So nice of them! I give this 5 stars really because of the staff here at the specific location. I picked out a graduation ring there for myself that my grandma gave me money for and one of the workers was so helpful. She really was patient with me so I knew exactly what I wanted and the price range I needed. I had a bunch picked out and she recommended some to me as well. I ended up choosing a beautiful rose gold orchid ring with spiny oyster. Seriously, one of the most beautiful rings ever! If you have some graduation money or just want to splurge, there are some great collections here. If you don't have the money, still go and just gaze at everything. Beautiful store! read more

I like Na Hoku a lot. It's kinda pricy, but then, it's good quality. This is real Hawaiian jewelry, actually made in Hawaii. I got my wedding band from Na Hoku, and I love it - it appears to be a plain band when looking straight down, but the profile has a maile leaf design and a small diamond accent on both sides. We also bought a lovely pendant for a Hawaiian-raised friend here, and she loved it. The salespeople are friendly and helpful, but not pushy, and best of all the store smells wonderful, like orchids. The jewelry has a good price range, too, so you can get a nice gift without totally breaking the bank. I recommend Na Hoku if you want some unique jewelry that is well-crafted. read more

My wife and I discovered this store while looking at crosses for my nephews Christening. We searched several stores in the mall and several independant stores but could not find what we wanted. We were not sure what to expect at Na Hoku but we were very pleasantly surprised by the selection and the helpful staff. They were very informative and made selecting a cross simple. I love this store! The sales people are wonderful! My fiance bought me a beautiful engagement ring here and when we went back in for wedding bands the staff was beyond helpful! They took so much of their time while we compaired different pieces and ended up recommending what we purchased. Me and my husband happened to walk into this place today when we were searching for a diamond piece for our second wedding anniversary. We had covered all other shops in the mall and I was looking for something that will blow me away-which obviously didnt happen elsewhere. This shop was last in the list and we walked in here just to finish our window shopping and go some other place. The ambience was an instant hit with me. Some pieces here were very unique and caught my attention. And there is something for every budget. The best thing about this place is that we dont have to compromise design over cost. They have the same design with varying sizes which can cater to all budget. I felt more at ease and not so "customer like" feeling. The lady who assisted me was the best salesperson I have ever met in my whole life. I felt the others in the shop were also nice. The lady was so patient through out and didnt ever showed a sign of frustration when I wanted to try some jewellery again and again...I am sure elsewhere people would have made excuses to get us out. She was a thorough professional and was not pushy. She made me realise that a company's greatest assets are its workforce and then comes products. She suggested many things but very politely left us to make our decisions.
